10 Skill Books
After arriving at his next destination, Bai Tian entered the building in front of him that had many styles of clothing displayed by the window. From luxurious silk to fur skin, it seemed to be the perfect place to sell the Blue Pig Skins.
When he entered the building, he was immediately greeted by a pretty young lady wearing a black and white suit.
"Hello, young man. What can we do for you today?" She greeted him with a bright smile.
"I would like to sell some Blue Pig Skins."
"Certainly. Please, follow me to the guest room." The young lady led him to another room.
Once inside, she pointed at the long table and said, "Please show us the materials. We will inspect them to determine their quality and worth."
"Sure."
And without hesitation, Bai Tian retrieved all 210 Blue Pig Skin and placed them on the table.
The young lady's jaw dropped when she saw the sheer amount of materials on the table, as she'd expected only several materials, a dozen at most.
"T-This might take awhile to inspect…" She said nervously after forcefully swallowing.
"I have plenty of time." Bai Tian smiled.
The young lady went to get the manager and several other employees shortly after.
The manager, who was a short and round middle-aged man, greeted Bai Tian with a business smile, "Thank you for choosing Jean's Fashion. We'll do our best to serve you today. Would you like something to drink while you wait? Some tea, perhaps?"
"I'm fine. You don't need to mind me." Bai Tian said as he sat cross legged on the couch.
He then closed his eyes and began to cultivate.
The people there thought his actions were weird, but they didn't say anything and focused on inspecting the materials.
About two hours later, the manager approached Bai Tian and said, "Thank you for waiting. We have finished our inspection and determined the price. More than half of the Blue Pig Skins are in great condition and are worth 7 Silver Coins each. The rest that are of lower quality are worth between one to three Silver Coins each. In total, we have calculated their worth to be 11 Gold Coins, and 62 Silver Coins. Are you willing to sell them to us at this price?"
"I am." Bai Tian calmly nodded.
"Great! Please follow me to the front for your payment."
Sometime later, Bai Tian left the store with the money, increasing his total wealth to 17 Gold Coins and 117 Silver Coins.
After emptying most of his inventory, Bai Tian wondered what he should do with the Green Slime Substance.
'I'll just keep these for now, I guess. If I ever need space, I can just throw them away.' He thought to himself.
'Anyways, now that I have some money, let's do some shopping. I already have a weapon, so I should go look for some armor.'
However, after taking a look at the map, Bai Tian decided to wait on getting new armor and went to another place instead.
"Shelly's Skill Books."
Indeed, he wanted to see what purchasing a skill would be like in this game.
After entering the store that had a small interior, Bai Tian could see a beautiful woman in her mid-twenties with crimson hair sitting behind the counter, and she was reading a book.
She lowered her book when she heard the door open.
"A Martial Artist, huh? I only have two Skill Books for your class." She said in a nonchalant voice.
"I would like to see them."
The woman proceeded to place a binder on the counter before taking out two pieces of paper from it, each with information about the skill.

"How does this service work? I have never used a Skill Book before," Bai Tian asked.
"It's quite simple. After paying for the Skill Book, I will hand you the item. You can then learn the Skill directly from the Skill Book. However, you can only use a Skill Book once."
"Is that so…"
"How about it? Do you want to buy it? I'll give you some special service if you buy Fire Punch right now." The woman suddenly leaned forward, pushing her large bosoms towards his face in a suggestive manner.
Bai Tian showed her a calm smile, "Sorry, but I only have 17 Gold Coins. Perhaps next time."
The woman loudly sucked her teeth before sitting back down.
Bai Tian left the store shortly after, and he thought to himself, 'Fire Punch? I don't need to pay so much money just to learn such a basic technique. And Aerial Leg Sweep? That's just an ordinary kick.'
He decided to visit the other stores that sold Skill Books, and there were three of them. However, he was surprised to learn that two of them didn't even have any Skill Books for Martial Artists, and the last store sold only one Skill Book– one that he'd already seen at Shelly's Skill Books.
"This Aerial Leg Sweep is a powerful skill amongst new and experienced Martial Artists. I will even give you a discount if you buy it today. 25 Gold Coins. What do you think?"
"Maybe next time." Bai Tian quickly left the store after that.
'Is there a lack of skills for Martial Artists, or am I simply unlucky?' He wondered inwardly.
It wasn't as though the stores lacked Skill Books since he noticed at least 10 different Skill Books for the other Classes.
Fortunately, he didn't need to rely on Skill Books to learn more skills, and his own techniques are better than any Skill Books he can acquire at this moment.
With nothing else better to do, Bai Tian made his way to a nearby equipment store and started browsing their items.
