7 Party Bonus

A notification appeared before Bai Tian when he tried to cultivate.

<You have started to cultivate>

<You have recovered some Qi>

<You have gained some Experience>

He smiled slightly after seeing that it worked.

A second later.

<You have gained insight on a new Skill>

<Continue using it to learn the Skill>

<Progress: 1%>

For some reason, he gained insight on this skill immediately after just 1% when the others required at least 10%.

But Bai Tian had his focus elsewhere.

While he cultivated, he watched as his depleted Qi recovered by 10 every second.

He couldn't tell how much experience he was gaining since he wasn't able to see his experience progression in general. However, regardless how much experience he would gain from cultivation, he was still happy at the fact that he could acquire experience at all.

Thus, Bai Tian began his cultivation session in the quiet cave for many hours while the other players grinded monsters for faster experience.

By this point of the game, most players were between level 10 to 15 with some of the more hardcore grinders at level 20 and above.

The internet was also being flooded with information and guides for the game.

Of course, the topic of the first player to create their own skill was still a hot topic throughout every game forum on the internet, as nobody seemed to have any information about this anonymous player.

Big agencies offered a large sum of money in order to bait Bai Tian out of the shadows, and there were even players who were willing to spend a fortune to receive information on skill creation, hoping they could make their own skill.

Unfortunately, Bai Tian was completely oblivious to these people. Even if he logged off the game and saw these offers, he'd ignore them, as he didn't want to jeopardize his peace.

As news of the game quickly became widespread, more and more people joined High Fantasy Online and began their own journey.

After spending many hours in the cave, Bai Tian finally opened his eyes after hearing the notification pop up.

<You have learned a new Skill>

<Congratulations, you have created a new Skill. Would you like to give it a name?>

"White Dragon's Breathing Art."

<Name has been registered in the system>

<You are the first player to learn White Dragon's Breathing Art>

[White Dragon's Breathing Art]

[Rarity: Unique]

[Rank: Max]

[Description: A unique technique created by Player 'Black Heaven'. Absorbs the world's essence in its purest form through cultivation to strengthen one's self. Restores 5% of maximum Qi every 5 seconds.(Hidden: Cultivators will restore twice as much Qi from this skill)]

"Since my class is Martial Artist/Cultivator, its hidden effects should benefit me…" Bai Tian mumbled to himself after seeing its description.

He closed his eyes and began to cultivate again

<You have began to cultivate>

As Bai Tian took a deep breath in and released it, a small amount of white flames could be seen coming out of his mouth, almost like a dragon's breath.

<You have recovered 470 Qi>

<You have gained some Experience>

Since he had 4,700 total Qi at this moment, the cultivation technique's hidden effect really worked for him.

Now that he's learned his cultivation technique, Bai Tian finally came out of the cave.

He stopped at the entrance and turned to look at the cave with a perplexed expression on his face, as it felt like he was leaving seclusion.

He played video games to escape reality, yet here he was, doing the same thing in this game as he would in the real world.

Despite that, there was something about this game that really attracted him, allowing him to look past such displeasure.

Sometime later, Bai Tian returned to the Horned Blue Pigs hunting ground to see if he could rank up his Qi Bullet. Now that he has a fast and reliable method to restore his Qi, he could essentially spam Qi Bullets as many times as he wants without needing to worry about running out of potions and whatnot.

On his way back to the hunting ground, he passed through many players, all of them fighting with a group.

This made Bai Tian wonder if there was some kind of bonus for being in a group, as he has never seen so many groups in an open area.

"Hey, want to join our party? We have one more slot." A tall and skinny man wielding a round shield suddenly approached him.

"Sorry, but I am a little busy right now. Also, if you don't mind me asking, why does it seem like everyone is in a group?" Bai Tian asked.

"You don't know?" The man seemed genuinely surprised, as everyone should know something like that by now.

"There's a huge experience bonus for joining a party. Every player in a party will increase the experience gained by 5%, and with a 6 people limit, we can get a 30% bonus altogether. That's not all. If the party is full, there's an additional 20% increase, so it's a 50% increase in total."

"Fifty percent, huh. No wonder why everyone is in a party. Anyways, thanks for the offer, but I have another business that I must take care of first." Bai Tian left the scene afterward.

Sometime later, Bai Tian returned to the Horned Blue Pig's hunting ground.

Since most people are now past level 10, there are much fewer people in the Horned Blue Pig's hunting ground than before he left. Though, there are still some people there, and of course, there are in a group.

Though, none of them approached Bai Tian since they were already full.

Bai Tian minded his own business and started to spam Qi Bullet on the pigs. Since he can see the amount of health the pigs have, he could adjust his Qi Bullet's strength and use just enough Qi to kill them without wasting even a single Qi.

However, about an hour into his training, Bai Tian had to stop when he noticed killing intent being directed at him from a distance.

When he turned to look in that direction, he could see a group that consisted of six people approaching him, and he recognized two of them.

Of course, they were the couple that he'd killed for disturbing his peace.

Clearly, they didn't have any good intentions, and Bai Tian immediately knew that a peaceful confrontation with them was impossible.

'I am about an hour away from the city. If I kill them here, would my Criminal status be extended?' He wondered inwardly.

Not wanting to take the chance, Bai Tian decided to run further away from the city.

When they saw him, Li Ming shouted, "That bastard is running away! Get him!"

They immediately chased after him.
