1 Prologue

"These are my feelings... From the very first moment we met... I couldn't help but fall in love with you, Shin."
The moment the girl in front of me confessed her own feelings to me, I couldn't help but fall in love with her more. The girl who was in front of me had red colored eyes and long pink hair. She looked at me with a blush but still had a lot of determination in her eyes. I knew the girl who was standing in front of me, that is why I'm very nervous. The name of the girl who is confessing to me is, Satou Matsuzaka.
The first time I met her was when we were still in middle school.
At first, I thought of her as an empty girl who reminded me of myself, but somehow because of how similar we are, she opened up and changed her way of interacting with me. Slowly we slowly became closer and closer, we then entered the same High school together.
We began to know more things about each other, but of course, even though We growed closer, there was something that I didn't know about her, and vice versa. But there is something special that she doesn't know... No... Not only her, there are alot of people who don't know about it including my family and friends.
The thing is... I am someone who transmigrated from another world to this world.
Anyway, if you are perhaps wondering why all of this happened then let's take a rollback on why this particular situation is happening to me.

My name is Shin Tenjou and I'm currently 16 years old. As you all know I transmigrated from another world to this world. In my previous life, I was a mercenary that was able to do almost anything impossible, though at that time I was also someone who didn't have any emotion, as I didn't have any remorse when killing. Somehow after getting killed due to being betrayed by someone that I teamed up with in a mission, I ended up in my current body.
When I first transmigrated into this world, the previous owner of this body was still an 8 year old kid. I can't even remember things related to this body, the only memory I have are my past memories. I am also confused on why I suddenly woke up in a body that I have no recollection of. I thought I was in the afterlife but I wouldn't have a new fresh body if that was the case so I summed it up to someone probably transmigrating me into another world. How do I know about this being another world you say? That is simple, normal people don't have natural colored hair of pink, blue, and others that don't make any sense.
Anyway, It seems that before I got transmigrated into this body, the owner had an accident that killed both of his parents. And with that, I can conclude that I was sent into this body after it died. After that accident, I was adopted by this kid's grandpa. Grandpa, who at that time decided to adopt me, is very kind, but he has a lot of weird hobbies such as traveling around the world while collecting weird stuff.
During the time I lived in this body, I gained many close friends and also a good relationship with my Grandpa. I started to enjoy my everyday life while experiencing many kinds of emotions that were foreign to me, unlike my previous life that was full of blood wherever I went.
But my Grandpa left this world before I was able to enter high school. At that time, I could only feel a new emotion inside my heart, the emotion called 'sadness'. Tears slowly started to flow out of my eyes and soon I started to let out all of my feelings for the first time in my life. To me, grandpa is the very first person that was kind and also very caring toward me, even before I moved into this body.
As soon as he passed away, I inherited all of his property. Though, Grandpa left me with his last words.
His last word is--
"SHINN!! WAKE UP, IT'S LUNCH TIME!!!"
"WAH!!" I could only scream as suddenly grandpa's face got very big.
I found myself in a class as I suddenly stood up in class while putting both of my hands on the desk, similar to someone just waking up from his own nightmare.
I soon then looked in front of me, I found a very extremely tall guy in front of me.
"Oh, it seems I really woke him up, Suna."
"Shin wouldn't like it if you woke him up like that, Takeo."
"Is that so?"
In front of me, there were two people I easily recognized. Both of them are classmates and also childhood friends. Their names are Makoto Sunakawa and Takeo Gouda, and I have known them since I was 8 years old.

"Takeo... Please don't shout in front of people's faces when waking them up." I couldn't help but feel pissed off at Takeo, since because of his shouting my dream turned into a nightmare, I still remember my grandpa's face clearly turning into Takeo's face.
"Sorry..." When I saw Takeo's sorry face, I couldn't help sigh as I knew Takeo didn't mean it... It's just Takeo is... too manly, which caused his scream to become loud.
I looked at my surroundings and saw that everyone was looking at our group.
"Hey did you see... Tenjou-kun's face when he is sleeping, he is so cute~"
"I know right~"
It seems most of the girls in our class are looking towards us... No, rather than us, they have their predator look towards me
"Kyaa~ He is looking at us."
"Even if he is mad, his face looks wild and yet still remains handsome."
I couldn't help but want to jump from the window after hearing their topic of conversation, but I have already gotten used to this kind of thing since I was a kid. I could also see the tears of the boys and their screams of jealousy except for Takeo and Suna which happen almost every day in our class. I could probably guess the reason why they are crying.
"Don't worry about it, Takeo... It's just I had this weird nightmare which caused me to be a bit mad... And also I couldn't get enough sleep yesterday, that's why I'm so sleepy." I couldn't help but sigh with a bit of tiredness in my voice due to how tired I was since yesterday night because of stock marketing. I know, it's illegal for a 16 year old to do stock marketing, that's why I created a new illegal ID so that I can produce money much faster, as long as you know the algorithm.
"I see... What a relief, but you should take care of your body better." I heard Takeo sigh in relief, to which I couldn't help but smile.
"Yeah, I know." I could only sigh while smiling at him.
"Anyway, Matsuzaka has been waiting for you, Shin." Suna then pats my shoulder as she looks at the door of the classroom. When I looked at the door, I could see the sight of Satou, who had been waiting for me.
"... It seems I have been making her wait."
"Don't worry, she just arrived, though she is very worried about you, since you have been sleeping late lately."
"I see... Anyway, thanks both of you for waking me up."
"Don't worry about it, I know it's been a hard time for you ever since your grandfather has passed away." I could only look at Suna with thankfulness.
"But I wonder how you still get good grades when you are always busy with your part-time job..." Takeo, who was confused, could only look at me while wondering what I had to do to get good grades. I mean, the reason why I can sleep in class without the teacher waking me up is because I aced every exam and also the quizzes in every subject, and even if they don't like my attitude, I could always make them shut up with my knowledge, since all of the subjects here is child's play compared to my past life's job. Since then they don't even bother me whenever I sleep except for one teacher that I know. Other than stock marketing, I also work a part-time job at a weird cafe.
"Takeo... That is why you are supposed to study every day.."

Takeo, who is in front of me, could only stay quiet as he cannot deny Suna's words, Since I know that his grade is lower than average.
"Anyway, I'm gonna have lunch with Satou today, so you guys can go ahead and eat without me." I then go towards the classroom door as I leave both of them alone.

After I come out of the classroom, I see the sight of Satou looking at me with eyes full of worry.
"Sorry for the wait, Satou."
"Shin, are you alright? Sunakawa-kun told me that you slept from the first period to the fourth period."
Other than Takeo and Suna, the other student who also knows that I live alone is Satou, and that is why sometimes she will make me a bento every time she gets the opportunity since I usually just buy my own food at the cafeteria. Though at first, I was reluctant to accept her offer in making my lunch, but one way or another she managed to persuade me to accept her offer.
"Don't worry it's fine, I only stayed up very late yesterday."
"You need to take care of your body, Shin since you are living alone."
"Yeah, I know... Anyway, let's go to the roof to eat our lunch there."
After that, both of us then went towards the roof since it is usually empty and also my secret spot for eating lunch peacefully in the school since the roof is always blocked and can't be used.
"Here is your bento." I then receive a bento box from Satou who is showing a happy smile.
Not long after I got it I opened the lunchbox that Satou made which looked delicious. The bento is filled with Karaage that is covered by some spices,and what comes next is the Onigiri, and also some small chopped up pieces of carrots.
"Woah... It looks delicious." I couldn't help but get more hungry after seeing the bento Satou made for me.
"Time to eat." I picked up the chopsticks after they were in my hand. I picked up the Karaage first. The reason why I pick up the Karaage first is that Karaage produces such a strong aroma that comes from the spice that covers it, making me want to taste it first.
The next thing I knew, I couldn't help but say " So delicious." Once I bit onto the Karaage.
"Thank Goodness... then why don't you also try the Tuna Mayo Onigiri." Satou, who saw my expression, was very happy when I said her food is delicious.
After that, We ate our own lunchbox, while talking happily with each other until we finished our own bento.
"Thanks for the food." After I finished eating the bento, I returned the bento box to her.
"It seems that everything that you cook is always delicious... I wish I could eat your food more often."
"Is that so..."
"Yeah... I guess."
I looked at Satou and noticed her face was beet red, which somehow made me a bit nervous. I wonder why I feel nervous... Usually, I never feel this nervous around anyone.
Both of us then stayed quiet for a while before all of a sudden Satou said something to me.
"If that is the case... I don't want you to eat my food more often..."
When I heard this, I couldn't help but feel dejected as I then looked down.
"... I want you to eat my food every day..."
I couldn't help but look at her instantly as she said those words, I couldn't help but be surprised at her words. Her face right now is beet red while looking at me with a smile on her face.
Slowly Satou continues to speak while I look at her.
"You know Shin, before I met you, the only thing I found in this world was bitterness."
Satou who is in front of me then looks at me with a sad smile, she then continues with her words.
"But after meeting you... I gained this new feeling inside me that I never noticed I had... I can feel that the feeling inside me is shining sweetly and brightly..."
"Satou..."
"So Shin... Thank you for being by my side... Thank you for giving me a purpose in life..."
Satou then stops for a while before she then puts her hands at the heart area of her chest and continues to speak.
"And also... Thank you for teaching me what love is..."
Ah... So this is the reason why I feel nervous... The feeling when looking at her smile... 'Love'... What an easy but also complicated word... Is this what 'Love' feels like? If so, then love isn't as bad as I thought... It seems I have been in love with her for quite a while without me realizing it.
Suddenly, without me noticing, something touched my lips as I could feel Satou's lips touching mine. I couldn't help but feel surprised for the umpteenth time today when Satou kissed me. A few seconds later she separated our lips, the kiss didn't last long but for me it felt like hours.
"This is my feeling... From the moment we met... I couldn't help but fall in love with you, Shin."
I couldn't help but be mesmerized as I took a look at her eyes that were looking at mine, her face that is very cute is showing an apparent blush signifying that she is also embarrassed, and also her smile that made me slowly show a smile. I was about to give my reply to Satou, but suddenly...
