When Shin was about to reply to Satou, he could only freeze as he was looking at something that floated in front of him. Something that he never saw in his entire life had just appeared in front of him.
Though Shin found this surprising, he stayed calm while carefully checking his surroundings in an instant in order to figure out if he's the only one that can see the thing in front of him. He then looked at Satou who was still waiting for his reply without any change of expression on her face as if she couldn't see what he just saw in front of him.
"... Shin...?"
In the end, he ignored what he just saw for now after hearing Satou's voice. When he looked at Satou, he found that she was very nervous and was still waiting for his reply. At this moment, he couldn't help but think that he was stupid for getting distracted by something trivial when someone that he loves had just confessed to him.
He didn't want her to think that he's rejecting her confession, which is why he ignored the thing that popped up in front of him even if it's dangerous and can risk his life.
This is the first time he felt this way towards a person and he didn't want to have any kind of regrets in his current life. Amidst all of this he remembered his grandpa's last word before he passed away. Seriously this time…
"Shin, don't do things that you'll regret. Do the things that your heart believes in… So that at the end of your life there would be no regrets inside your heart. Unlike me you still have a long life ahead of you."
When Shin remembered the last words his grandpa gave him, the determination inside his heart became more steeled than ever.
"Sorry Satou..."
Satou, who heard the first words that came out from Shin's mouth, made a bitter and sad expression, and right now she felt as if her guts were wrenched in her stomach.
But suddenly Satou's hand was grabbed by Shin's right hand as he pulled her hand which forcefully made her body move towards him. After being pulled by Shin, he continues his words from where he left off.
"For making you wait... This is my answer to you."
With a smile on his face, Shin moves his head toward Satou and puts his lips on hers.
When Satou was kissed by Shin, her eyes went wide open, she was also very surprised since she thought that she was being rejected by him, but turns out it was only her own misunderstanding.
Satou, who was being kissed by Shin, only closed her eyes. Deciding to savor every second of the moment.
Slowly, Shin pulls his lips away from Satou's. When he kissed Satou, he felt all the burdens in his heart slowly being released, and all the emotions he had were growing stronger, much more than before.
"For the longest time, I didn't know what was the feeling that I felt towards you... But now I finally get it... This feeling... I'm also in love with you." When Shin said these words to Satou, Satou looked at Shin with tears slowly flowing out of her eyes.
"You really mean it right? You are not lying right?" Asked Satou, but when she looked at Shin who nodded at her, Satou wasn't able to contain her happiness and jumped at Shin hugging him. Shin, who is being hugged by Satou, shows a bright smile and returns her hug.
After a few minutes of hugging each other, both of them let go of each other. Both of them stood awkwardly while waiting for one of them to say something. The first to break the quiet atmosphere is Satou who asks Shin something.
"So... The both of us are dating now, right?" Asked Satou who was only blushing while showing a smile. Which made it all the more cute in Shin's eyes.
"Yeah, I think so... But I didn't expect you to kiss me before you confessed." Shin only smiled wryly at her.
"I thought that most boys like girls who tend to be aggressive in their relationships...?"
"Who told you that?" Shin could only feel his left eye twitching when heard Satou's statement.
"Some of my classmates... Do you perhaps hate it?" Asked Satou with a wry smile.
"No, it's not that... But I just want you to be yourself, okay? Whatever you plan to do or be, I will never stop loving you, so you don't need to force yourself to do the things that you don't want to do." Shin smiles while giving Satou a head pat which only made her nod with a shy smile.
Suddenly the bell rang, signaling the end of lunch break.
"It seems that lunch break is already over eh? Let's go back to class before the teacher finds us trespassing here on the school rooftop." When Shin heard the bell, he with a dumb goofy smile on his face then pulled one of Satou's hands while trying to go back to their respective classes, since both of them are from different class years. On the other hand, Satou, who's being pulled by Shin, showed a happy smile on her face when her hand was intertwined with Shin's.
When Shin got back to his classroom, he found that both of his friends Suno, and Takeo were already in the classroom.
"Did something happen?" Suna asked a question once Shin arrived at the classroom.
"Wait, was it really that obvious?!" Shin who heard this was surprised by Suna's question.
"Well, you look so unusually happy." Suna with a smile points out to Shin's face.
"Ah... I see so it was obvious." Shin could only laugh wryly while looking at his surroundings. He also noticed that all of his classmates were now looking at him, especially most of the girls in the classroom, to which Shin could only deduce that the previous expression that he had caused quite the commotion around the classroom.
"Doesn't Tenjou-kun look more gorgeous than usual?"
"Can someone get me a tissue, my nose is bleeding."
"Even though I got rejected by him this morning, I can't help falling in love with him even more."
"What do you guys think about Tenjou x Sunakawa?"
Shin, who heard the girls commenting behind him could only sigh, but the last sentence made him a bit irritated and disgusted.
"Anyway I will tell you all about it later, if you have free time, you can come to the cafe that I work part-time at, I will make sure to treat you guys food in there okay."
"Is it really okay?" Takeo who heard this is very happy but also asked Shin for confirmation.
"Yeah, even though the manager is a bit weird, he is really friendly so you don't need to worry about me treating you."
Suna who sees Shin figured out that it has something to do with Satou and him, which was actually true.
"Sure, we will take you up on your offer then." Said Suna with a smile while accepting Shin's offer.
After that, the three of them talked with each other until the teacher came to the classroom. Shin then sat down on his chair while looking at the screen panel in front of him that's still floating.

It seems that after looking at everyone's expression in the class, he concluded that the one who can only see the screen panel in front of him is himself.
Shin himself doesn't know if the screen panel that he's seeing right now is dangerous or not, but it made him think of the possibility that someone kidnapped him and planted something inside of him which is weird considering he doesn't have any memory of being kidnapped unless someone erased his own memory. He also thought of the possibility that the thing that happened in front of him was connected to the previous body owner before he transmigrated into this world.
While Shin was thinking about the screen panel that's in front of him, the percentage on the screen slowly moved higher and higher while Shin was trying to figure out what was happening to him. Unfortunately, he couldn't figure out anything about the screen panel until it reached 100%. He could only hope that this is not something dangerous that can kill him since he didn't wanna die just right after being confessed by Satou.
