We are fine, lovely. We need to talk though." Kyera soothed her gently and Raina nodded. Letting go and wiping her eyes, but one hand stayed on Gale.
"Yes Mother. Can I?" She asks motioning to Gale and Kyera chuckled handing the baby to his anxious little sister. Gale cooed sweetly at his sister and laughed as if to tell her 'see? I am all safe and sound.' Raina kissed his forehead.
"Raina, I need to introduce you to someone." Kyera knelt down, her warrior leathers being a bit stiff from two days of wear plus her own muscle fatigue. "Rosie, this is Princess Raina, my daughter. Raina, this is… your newly adopted little sister Rosie." Kyera introduced honestly and both girls looked at each other for a long moment. Raina looked at Kyera then back at Rosie before glancing at her father, who nodded.
"Where did she come from?" Raina asked honestly uncertain and Kyera smiled gently, but it wasn't a true smile. The pain was still fresh and if Raina didn't accept Rosie… Kyera wasn't sure what she would do.
"Rosie is a daughter of your mother's dearest friend. He died protecting Mommy, and he asked we take care of little Rosie." Clovis explained as he knelt down to the two girl's heights. Raina seemed to think for a long moment.
"Then I am still Mommy's Little girl?" Raina asked a bit nervously and Kyera hugged her close.
"Of course, your my first baby, and as such you will always matter to me."Kyera kissed her forehead gently.
"No, Raina has a mother and a brother. She doesn't need you anymore. I had first claim to Clovid and high wich, injected yourself into my family." Accused Feya as she pushed her way through the crowd. "I am Raina's Rightful mother." Kyera blinked slowly as she felt Raina tense. The poor child looked shocked and hurt as she processed what the woman said. Kyera felt the rage in her heart and kissed Raina's forehead one more time. Then she stood and turned around to the triumphant looking former princess.
"Feya," Kyera spoke slowly as if to a small child "I knew that already."

"What? You are really that shameless? You knew and you still married a man I gave myself too and had a child with? What kind of leader are you?" Feya splashed the social mud on Kyera's name."Do your people know how shameless, how much of a harlot you are?"
Daxin frowned. "We all knew Raina was your blood. However, unlike you, our Princess has no problem stepping up to the plate you left on the table." He replied folding his arms. The rest of her people looked at eachother like Feya was insane.
"What how.." Feya took a step back in confusion. This wasn't turning out at all like the fairy tale perfection she had expected.
"We are shifters; we can smell blood relations. I knew Raina was yours the day we met. It took everything I had not to break your arm that day." Kyera chuckled coldly as her nails slowly grew out again and Rosie stood at her side drawing Feya's attention.
"All your good for is taking in stays. You stole my second family from me…I worked so hard for it…" Feya tried to argue but no one really believed her.
"Yea, by poisoning my first wife? By sleeping with my brother? Must have been hard, marrying your way closer to the crown? You abandoned Raina, and I told you the day I found her she no longer had anything to do with you and neither did I." Clovis replied, wrapping his arm around his daughter and his wife. Kyera took Rosie's hand.
"Rosie and Raina are not strays. They are children who need a mother. I'm just not selfish enough to turn my back on them." Kyera added as Raina realized what was going on. Her eyes darted to Keen, her cousin… no brother.
"You dare call me selfish? I did everything I did for my family. I had to protect them because Clovis was too weak to sheild us. Bastil would have come after us, myself and Raina. I HAD to give her up." Feya tried to salvage her image but Kyera laughed coldly.
