Nesiara's Exams part 1

The moment Nesiara was stabbed by Abigail everything turned black for her. She looked around and saw nothing thinking that it was all over before she felt someone's gaze upon her.

She turns in the direction she was feeling the gaze coming from seeing a giant pair of golden eyes stare at her before a pair of black eyes and a pair of brown eyes did the same.

Nesiara looked at the brown eyes and thought that they looked similar to someone she met before when suddenly the darkness retreats.

The realm slowly took the shape of a familiar place for Nesiara as she found herself before the mansion her family lives in since she was born.

"Why am I here?" asks Nesiara when everything changed again and she found herself in an old-style Chinese Manor.

Everything was quiet when she sees a woman with long brown hair and beautiful green eyes sitting in the courtyard playing an instrument she didn't know existed.

"Who are you?" asks Nesiara looking at the woman who was playing the Guqin when the woman stopped.

"I am Diao Chan better known as Arthur's first wife," says Diao Chan looking at Nesiara as she signals to Nesiara to sit beside her.

"Why am I here?" asks Nesiara sitting down beside Diao Chan who was playing the Guqin again.

"You are here to unlock your full potential," says Diao Chan as she played a harmonious Melodie before she says, "But to do so you need to convince all three of us."

"Three?" asks Nesiara as she looked around trying to find the other two when Diao Chan smiles seeing Nesiara's reaction.

"I am your first exam," says Diao Chan getting Nesiara's attention again.

"Exam?" asks Nesiara confused as Diao Chan nods.

"Yes, you will meet the others later," says Diao Chan as she looked at Nesiara still playing the Guqin.

"What do I have to do to pass this exam?" asks Nesiara as a Black Phoenix landed beside Diao Chan surprising Nesiara.

"You will have to find out my real identity to pass my exam," says Diao Chan as Nesiara was confused.

"Didn't you say that your name is Diao Chan?" asks Nesiara as Diao Chan's hair slowly turned black and her eyes turned golden.

"This body's name is Diao Chan but it was only an avatar that I used to be beside my husband. I had to ask a friend of mine for a favor when I heard that my husband Thor Tyrson got revived by Shura," says the woman as she looks Nesiara in the eyes before the Guqin was burned down in green flames.

"Don't you think that I deserve at least a hint?" asks Nesiara as the woman smiles.

"I already gave you three by telling you that I married Arthur when he was known as Thor and by burning the Guqin I gave you the second hint. The last hint is my companion," says the woman as she stands up and her hair turned golden before her eyes turned black.

"Now I gave you a fourth hint," says the woman as Nesiara was perplexed by the beauty of the woman which seemed more beautiful than before.

"You must be a Nordic God if you married him while he was Thor," says Nesiara as the woman rolls her eyes since it was far too obvious.

"My exam revolves around you using your brain instead of using your brawn to pass it. Show me that you are worthy of my piece of soul," says the woman as she was standing when her companion flew into the air before it became bigger.

"Another hint, he is known as Fenghuang but he is a mixed breed between a Phoenix and a Jotunn named Hraesvelgr. That's why he is a Black Phoenix," says the woman dropping more hints.

"Well, you can't be Frigg nor Freya. Maybe you are Sif since she was married to Thor," says Nesiara as the woman smiles.

"Why should I be Sif, because of my golden hair," says the woman as her hair turned black again and her eyes were golden again before she says, "Or because I was married to a Thor."

She takes some steps towards Nesiara as Fenghuang landed on the wall around separating the street from the courtyard when the woman says, "Let me remind you that Thor Odinson and Thor Tyrson are different. Sif couldn't love my Thor since she was mourning the death of her Thor."

"Can you give me a little hint about your family?" asks Nesiara as there are way too many female figures in Nordic Mythology.

"I have five brothers, three of them are half-brothers while one of them is an eight-legged horse. My other two brothers are a snake and a wolf. And if you don't know who I am after telling you this. My father is Loki," says the woman which made Nesiara fall over.

"How can that be shouldn't Thor and Loki be brothers?" asks Nesiara as the woman sighs.

"Loki is Odin's blood brother. Modern Mortals think that Loki and Thor were blood brothers because they are almost always depicted together but that isn't the case," says the woman as she looked at Nesiara stretching her hand towards Nesiara to help her up.

"You are Hel," says Nesiara as Hel nods before Nesiara took her hand.

Hel helps Nesiara up when she feels heat entering her body through her hand when Hel says, "I am Hel Lokidottir, Ruler of Helheim and Wife of Thor Tyrson better known as Arthur 'The King of Men' and 'The Godslayer'."

"You have passed my exam. Two more to go," says Hel as she looked at Fenghuang who grabbed her and they disappeared while Hel says, "I will meet you again once you have finished the last exam."

Nesiara looked around and the environment changed again. This time she found herself in front of a small cottage that looked medieval to her when she sees a woman tending to two boys.

The woman notices Nesiara who recognizes the woman since she met her before as she says, "Jeanne d'Arc."

The boys seemed to not have heard or noticed Nesiara as Jeanne says something to the boys who rushed out of the house right through Nesiara as if she was a ghost.

"You know who I am because of the copy that Faith produced of me," says Jeanne as she approaches Nesiara.

She touches Nesiara's cheek to take a good look at Nesiara. Nesiara could see that Jeanne has well-developed muscles under her skin as Jeanne lets go of Nesiara.

"You are walking on a long and painful path as I did before you to save the land I was born in. I stood up against the English Invaders and tried to fight them back until I was betrayed by the same King I swore to protect," says Jeanne as she walked past Nesiara.

"Follow me," says Jeanne as she walked for a bit when they reached a green field on which the boys were fighting.

"Shura saved me from England and brought me far away from the war between France and England. I also met Arthur on the battlefield. He tried to avoid me most of the time when we were on opposite sides," says Jeanne as she sat down looking at the boys in front of her.

"Arthur prepared this cottage for me and Shura here in Spain. The boys might have forgotten it but Arthur would visit them from time to time just to make sure that we had enough since Shura was bound to the rules," says Jeanne sad knowing that her youngest was dead.

"You aren't at fault with what happened to my youngest son as you aren't at fault about what happened to your youngest sons. We can't control destiny it controls us we are just following the path that destiny has chosen for us," says Jeanne as the boys in front of them turned into men.

Nesiara was seeing Logan and Jack playing with each other when Jeanne says, "But you and your husband are trying to do something in which we failed long ago. You are trying to destroy the weary fabric of reality. Back then we failed because Shura and Arthur accepted the power of the Godking."

"So what is my exam?" asks Nesiara as Jeanne smiled at her.

"You have to let go of all the baggage you are carrying around with you. Once you do you will be able to reach the next exam. Take your time in doing so. You will be living with me until you pass the exam," says Jeanne as she watched her boys fight against each other with wooden swords.

Nesiara sat down and began to think about what Jeanne just said to her, 'It seems I have to be able to let go of everything that I think I did wrong.'

"No, you need to be able to forgive yourself," says Jeanne as she corrected Nesiara who looked at her surprised.

"Don't be surprised, we have been watching you since your birth. We know what you are thinking about since we are a part of you that you haven't accepted yet," says Jeanne as she stood back up since the sun was going down and she needed to cook dinner for herself and her children.

Nesiara followed her as she couldn't look at Jack who was training with his Logan. They arrived at the starting point just that now there were three small cottages instead of one.

Jeanne entered the one in the middle and took a pot out which was full of water she put over the fire before she put some spices in it before she began to cut the potatoes when Nesiara joins her.

She wanted to grab a potato but her hand went through the potato when Jeanne smiles and says, "You can't touch anything except for me. Just concentrate on your current task if you want to meet your family again."

"What do you mean with that?" asks Nesiara as Jeanne looks at her seriously.

"The longer you stay the harder it will become for you," says Jeanne as she looked worried at her.

Nesiara could see worry in Jeanne's eyes and began to think about everything that is still haunting her from the past beginning with Leon's kidnapping and the helplessness she felt as a mother.
