13 Battle for the Cloud and Sky Ring

They returned home and John pets Nesiara while saying, "You did well."

"Thanks, it was hard but Jack's illusions are far scarier than the one the toddler created," says Nesiara as they arrive at home.

They begin to eat when Jack appears and sits down with them and he says, "You fared well against Mammon. But never let your guard down. He almost attacked you when you let your guard down."

"But you were there, so there shouldn't be a problem," says Nesiara with a smile.

The next day Hibari had to fight and everyone was already there waiting for him between both school buildings.

"Do you think he will come?" asks Nesiara.

"Don't know he didn't come for the other fights either," says John as it was true. Hibari never went to one of their matches.

Tsuna was nervous about Hibari not appearing as were Gokudera and Takeshi. When Hibari walks out of the school.

"It seems everyone is here. We can then start the fight for the Cloud Ring between Hibari and Mosca," says Jack as Hibari takes his tonfas out and goes in position while Mosca was just standing there when Jack says, "The match begins now."

Hibari just rushes at Mosca while Mosca stretches his hand at Hibari and shoots at him. Hibari evades the missiles coming after him as he still approaches Mosca and slices Mosca apart making an old man appear in it. He was pretty rough up and it looked like the fight couldn't continue as Jack says, "The fight is over Kyoya Hibari wins this fight."

Jack then goes down and drags the old man out of the Mosca and begins to heal him while he says, "Well since this fight was quite fast over we should begin with the last match right now."

"What do you mean?" asks the Cervellos as they were confused like everyone else.

"The last fight won't be the two fighting each other but if the ring sees one of the two as worthy or not," says Jack as both halves of the Sky Ring fly towards him.

He catches them and puts them together and he takes the halve of the Cloud Ring and gives it to Hibari before walking into the middle and says, "Both of you come forward. We will see who the ring will choose as his bearer."

Tsuna as well as Xanxus walked towards Jack as Tsuna was nervous while Xanxus was feeling self-secure that he will be chosen.

Jack then asks, "Who wants to go first?"

"How do you know someone is worthy of the ring?" asks Tsuna nervous.

"It's like the staff Nesiara has. If he doesn't see you as worthy you wouldn't be able to lift it. The ring is the same it just won't fit and fight against you in the worst case you will be turned to ice or how you know it as the ice created by the Zero Point Breakthrough," says Jack as Xanxus walks forwards.

"I will be first," says Xanxus as he takes the ring and tries to put it on but once it was over the finger the ring didn't move. Like Jack said it was fighting against Xanxus as he tries to force it down when he was using his Flame of Wrath as the ring suddenly started to freeze him completely as the ring falls to the ground and the ring returns to Jack.

"He isn't worthy of carrying the ring," says Jack as he turns to Tsuna and says, "Your turn. Are you worthy of the ring or will it also refuse you let's find out?"

Tsuna was now nervous as Jack stretches his hand to Tsuna with the ring on it so Tsuna can pick it up. Tsuna picks it up after finding some courage and tries to put it on. The ring just slipped into his finger without a problem and once it was on a flame began to shine showing that it has chosen its master.

"That means you have won," says Jack as he turns to Squalo and Belphegor and asks, "Are you going to follow Tsunayoshi Sawada?"

"I will not," says Squalo as well as Belphegor as the rings they were carrying flew towards Jack.

"By not following the rightful owner of the Sky Ring I have to strip you of your rings," says Jack as he was keeping them for a while before breaking the ice and dragging Xanxus out of it. He begins to heal him.

Xanxus wakes up and sees the dark sky over his head as Squalo was there with the others as Jack then whispers to the rings, "Go and find your owner."

The Rain ring flew directly towards Takeshi while the Storm Ring didn't want to move when Jack whispers again, "I know you can hear me G. If you don't choose the boy you will regret it later on."

The Storm Ring then flew directly towards Gokudera who was at first sad that the Storm Ring didn't leave Jack's palm as the Rain Ring did but once it was in his hand he was relieved and happy.

Jack then turned to the old man and says, "Now what do I do with you."

"He is the Leader of the Vongola Family Nono," says Reborn as he was beside Jack at that moment.

"I know who he is. But I can't leave him with the Varia nor can I take him home with me. So tell me what should I do," says Jack as he sees that the old man was fine just exhausted.

"We will take him home," says Reborn as he calls Tsuna and the other that were celebrating their victory while Hibari already left not interested in what was going on.

"Then let me announce that the Vongola Ring Conflict is now over. Xanxus and the Varia have lost and have no right to fight for the rings in this generation any longer," says Jack as he announced the end of the battles while Jack walks to the Varia and Xanxus was in disbelief of why he wasn't chosen.

"It's quite simple why you weren't chosen. I will tell you a secret. The Primo is always the one who chooses the next one. He was one that was near to his Guardians and trusted them. You, on the other hand, use them and throw them away when they are of no use. That's why only two are behind you right now from the original six," says Jack as he makes Xanxus think about what he did wrong and rethink what it means to have people around he can trust completely.

"Now then I have to leave," says Jack as he leaves them behind and returns to Nesiara and John and says, "Let's go home now that everything is over. I have to prepare a feast for our little family."

"You mean big family right," says John as they really aren't little with them being a household of more than 5 members. As they went home together they found a surprise at home finding a woman with long blond hair cooking food in the kitchen.

"Kara," says Jack as he sees one of his wives in the kitchen. John wanted to hug his grandmother when he saw her since Felicia and Kara were taking the most care of him since he didn't have powers.

"Come here, John. I know you want it," says Kara as she opens her arms and John hugs her.

"Why did you disappear too?" asks John as he really missed Kara once she disappeared.

"We all have duties to fulfill and mine is to look after Abigail right now," says Kara as she let go and says, "Abigail should be in the restroom right now. She wanted to see Nesiara."

"Me?" asks Nesiara when Kara hugs her.

"She is your great-grandmother after all," whispers Kara into her ear surprising Nesiara who didn't know Abigail since they never meet before.

The others were surprised to even see Kara as they thought Jack was raising John alone. But when a woman with long black hair entered the room accompanied by another woman in a maid outfit they were even more surprised.

Then Abigail walked towards Nesiara and hugs here and whispers, "You really look like your grandmother. No wonder Logan didn't try to force you to become a Godking."

"What do you mean?" asks Nesiara confused.

"Your grandmother was like a daughter for Logan since she was the first baby he ever carried. He immediately fell in love with that cute baby wanting to protect her from harm's way even so far that he made his own son marry her," says Abigail explaining how elves entered the family bloodline.

"I really hope you find a good boyfriend on your travel through the Worlds you will travel to as Logan did," says Abigail as she and Mia joined Kara in cooking.

"And who are those two?" asks Mukuro knowing that Kara was Jack's wife.

"She is my sister-in-law while the other is her maid and the wife of my teacher," says Jack making Mukuro feel nervous since he thought he offended the two women.

"I'm sorry," says Mukuro feeling nervous since Jack was a monster and Logan made the earth shake without him touching it just by being there.

The others were the same until Abigail says, "Don't worry I'm not someone that likes to show off. So it's alright."

They finished cooking and three more seats appeared so they could join them and Kara says, "Congratulations to you for winning in this competition. I hope you have as much luck later on too."

They begin to eat and everyone was in love with the food since it was more delicious as Jack's food by far as they began to fight between each other to get more making Kara and Abigail laugh from seeing that they still can cook delicious food.

That went on until it was late and everyone went to their room and Abigail gives Nesiara a hug and whispers, "Even in the darkest hour don't lose hope and you will survive it."

While Kara hugs John saying, "A man needs to protect the woman if needed keeping her to safe can scare her away."

That made John blush since it seemed his grandmother saw through him already and says, "I will keep that in mind."

They then go up to their respective rooms and Abigail asks, "Why didn't you let Tsuna fight against Xanxus?"

"He might have been prepared in the anime but this is real life, not some anime or manga. The same goes for Takeshi. He would never win against a Swordsman that lived so long fighting against people while he picked the sword some months ago. That's why he died and I needed to bring him back," says Jack justifying the reason he didn't let Tsuna fight against Xanxus.

"Then you should train him so he can protect everyone around him and himself," says Kara looking at Jack.

"I will in the next few months before he gets transferred to the future," says Jack as the two women nod and all three leave the room. Jack only sighs and says, "They can really be scary when they team up together."
