Transfiguration Society

At dinner time Draco, Crabbe and Goyle walked over to the long Gryffindor table, presumably looking for Potter, Dantalion just rolled his eyes, How much love does Draco have for Harry? How could he always bother teasing each other? As the original book Draco proposed a duel between wizards to Harry, in his opinion Harry who grew up in the Muggle world and was only exposed to magic this week, was easy prey. At this point Ron stands up and tells Harry "A duel is a duel! I will be his assistant" looking at DRaco continued "Who is your assistant?"

Draco looked at Crabbe and Goyle and said without hesitation "Of course it's my brother" ignoring the "Bodyguards" continued "It's midnight, how about that? We meet in the trophy hall, the door is never locked there."

Dantalion's slow voice came from afar, "I said... very smart to discuss midnight duels openly in public, violating school regulations..."

Ron sneered unceremoniously and said "It was your brother who proposed the duel, why? Now you're scared, do you want to back off? " Ron's tone was very mocking, even Harry couldn't help but stare at him, Dantalion irritated by Ron's attitude, although expressionless, his tone turned hard " I just don't want to break the school rules for boring reasons, already that you want to duel, why wait until midnight..." There was a scream from the long Gryffindor table, Harry's face suddenly turned pale, Ron was so startled he fell out of his chair, as Professor MacGonagall, who was in the teachers' seat, approached, Dantalion waved his wand and the gray wolf instantly turning back into a cup, looking coldly at the boy on the ground, Dantalion spoke icily "Now you still want to duel? Or are you scared?"

Professor MacGonagall arrived with a stern look "Mr. Malfoy! Could you please explain what's going on? Hogwarts strictly forbids the use of magic to harm classmates"

Dantalion turned around, he knew that the teacher had always been altruistic and did not favor Gryffindor, so he had nothing to fear "Professor, classmate Weasley never liked the Malfoy family , I didn't care about that before, but when I said that dueling at midnight, as he proposed was against the rules, he teased me that he was scared, so I used Transfiguration to scare him."

The Professor interjected students who were nearby, and determined that Dantalion was speaking the truth, she looked at Ron deducted ten points, Gryffindor was now bottom of the House Cup, many of the little wizards cast hostile looks at Ron.

Mrs MacGonagall turned to Dantalion and said "Even if there is a reason, Mr Malfoy, what you have done is inappropriate, you are only a first year, if your magic gets out of control and hurts your classmates by mistake?"

Dantalion spoke slowly, but his tone was full of self-assurance "Professor, it's impossible to accidentally hurt someone" after he said this, with a slight wave of his wand, the four cups on the table turned into snakes, then foxes, then spiders then came back to original form.

The teacher was shocked by the young man's performance, calming down a bit, she asked "Mr. Malfoy, that was really good, can you tell me how well you learned transfiguration?"

"How far?" Dantalion touched his chin and seriously thought "I think.. except for the conversion spell and the disappearing curse on the OWL level, I've already learned everything" he looked at Ron and said "To be honest, just now, if I wanted to, I could turns him completely into a ferret"

These words angered Ron, who was somewhere between shock, anger and fear, but the teacher's presence and the new perception he had of Dantalion made him unable to say anything relentless.

The teacher still maintained a stern expression, but Dantalion could detect a certain inadvertent joy between her brows "You come to my office with me, I have something to say to you"

Dantalion followed Professor McGonagall out of the auditorium. Ron's curses could be heard in low voices before he left, but he couldn't do anything at the moment, so he just followed the teacher to her office.

The office was small, it was next to the hallway on the second floor, there is a fireplace burning and you could see the Quadribal stadium, outside the window, the teacher's desk you can see stacked books, metamorphology books, you can see that the teacher was researching and writing about the subject, perhaps a book? It seems that the title of Mrs. MacGonagall from "Brain of Gryffindor" isn't unfounded, honestly she might as well be in Ravenclaw.

After she sat down at the table and looked at Dantalion for a few seconds, she collected her words and said "Mr. Malfoy, you are a very talented Transfiguration student, you are beyond the students in your year, so as not to waste your talents, I want to invite you to join my Transfiguration club."

"Transfiguration Club?" Dantalion looked confused, he knew the original book didn't mention or show any sign of the existence of such a club, all it showed was the Dueling Club that only appeared in the second movie and Slug's Club that appeared in the seventh movie. Maybe the Transfiuration club didn't appear because the protagonist didn't have the gift for it?

" This is a club that I set up, the meetings take place once a week, there are some older students who are excellent in transfiguration, in the club we discuss and research content related to the subject, of course I also hope that you elaborate and try to publish some scientific article in "Today's Transfiguration" magazine said the teacher with shining eyes "When I was your age I published some academic papers to contribute to the study of deformation"

After speaking, the teacher took a book from the shelf, inside there was a scientific article about metamorphosis and deformation, made when she was still preparing for the OWL exam, it was full of tips and particular experiences that were not in the textbooks, she gave Dantalion and looked forward to future achievements in the field of transfiguration.

"It will be an honor, Professor" Dantalion spoke respectfully and left Vice Principal MacGonagall's office.

Back at the Slytherin table in the auditorium, Draco and his assistants, Daphne, Zambine and Pansy couldn't wait for the "What did Professor tell you to do in the office?" Draco was the first to ask.

"Nothing special" Dantalion spoke indifferently "She invited me to join the transfiguration club and gave me a book on the subject"

"Transfiguration Club?" Several people said at the same time "what is that?"

"I heard that the teacher founded the club personally" Danytalion said "We will discuss and study the content related to transfiguration, such as deformation and metamorphology..."

" You are kidding ?" Pansy was shocked to hear Dantalion's words "Amazing, so enviable" she said looking quickly between the Malfoy twins.

"She gave you a book, probably she thinks her talent is worth nurturing," said Zambine with a smile.

"Of course, if my brother was more studious, instead of picking fights with the Gryffindors all day, he would definitely be like me, don't you think Draco?" said Dantalion smiling.

" Of course!" Draco replied proudly.

At that moment Dantalion spotted Harry and Ron who were trying to eavesdrop not far away and said coldly "Potter, Weasley, don't you think it's rude to eavesdrop on other people's conversations?"

Draco and the others turned their heads and chuckled as the two Gryffindors crept closer, glaring at them angrily, Ron said grudgingly, "Why do you say we were listening? We were just passing by, do you want me to ask permission to pass through the hall?"

Dantelion laughed sarcastically and replied "It doesn't matter, the subject of the duel is not over yet, but I do not intend to violate the school rules, it is better that we duel like this, in this place, by everyone's testimony, now I Dantalion Malfoy challenge you to the game of chess magician to determine the winner, do you dare?" Dantalion knew that the talent Ron had confidence in was chess, Dantalion would hit him hard where he was best, that was to completely crush his opponent.

A flush of excitement crossed Ron's face. "Dare! You dare not!"

"Of course even if it's just a magic chess contest, I'm not going to lose to you, how about we bet 10 gallons?" Dantalion said mockingly.

Ron blushed, all his savings didn't even have a gallon, like taking ten gallons, but in front of the Malfoy family, who he hated, he couldn't admit it, getting a sad face ron stayed silent.

Dantalion chuckled and walked over. "You don't have the Galleons right?" Dantalion turned and looked at Harry "Why don't you bet on your friend? 10 gallons for you isn't that right Potter?"

"Okay, I believe Ron!" Harry spoke boldly, encouraging his friend.

After dinner, Dantalion took the newly earned 10 gallons and happily took Draco and his friends back to the Slytherin dorm.

Sitting on the canvas Gryffindor table was Ron with a desperate look and Harry who looked sad, Harry could only comfort his friend in a low voice, but that comfort didn't seem to be effective, losing Harry's stripes was the trivial part, but being defeated in the wizard chess in front of everyone and even more so for a Malfoy, made Ron very unpleasant, with his head down he walked to the Gryffindor dormitory and Harry followed him.
