2 Chapter.2

As i open my eyes what i see not the auditorium nor the principal that giving the speech but what i see is a barren land devoid of anything except dust and rock and not even a single tree.

"What is this, where am i."

I carefully observe my surrounding and what i see is still the same, barren land.

"Probably if i walk a bit i can find someone."

I try as much as i can to not panic and try to be optimistic as to motivate my self, in situation like this the first thing that i can do is to calm my self and think normally, at least that one of the thing at the book that once i ever read. i slowly walk to the direction that i don't even know will lead me to where but i just follow my instinct and keep walking.

"For a dream this is really too real."

As i keep walking and walking i reach my limit and i take a break under a shade of rock that i found nearby. the wind is dry and the sun is high but somehow it not as hot as i guess. after 15 minutes i walking i still see no sign of anyone else beside me and i keep wondering if i should just keep going or not.

as i keep observing while lay down on top of the rocks i once again surveying the area around me , still no trees only rocks and dust everywhere the sun is getting higher and higher as dry wind keep blowing once in a while.

"What is that."

when i still pondering about my situation i suddenly hear something like animal walking or should i say running and approaching this rock quite fast and when i decided to take a peek.

"*(!*$^*$*$^%*&%*#&)"

A guy suddenly appear in front of me , he bald as not even a single hair spotted above his head and he rode something that look like a horse. he speak with languange that i never heard before but even if it something i ever heard i only know english languange except the one that was my mother languange.

"(^#%#^%#$&)"

"I not understand what are you saying."

"#^$^$? &$&^%%*%*$#"

as he keeps spouting something with language that i don't know suddenly someone else came. probably he reach same conclusion as me and he decided to call help.

"&%&^%&^"

"@%@%$"

as i thought i can't converse with them, i wonder what should i do , panic will not do well and they are the first person? that i see in this barren land and if i run i bet they can caught me since i not a fast runner and they have a mount anyway.

"!^&*@$^*@"

as i thinking about my current predicament he shove something that looks like a tube to me

"$#^&#%"

while saying something that i still not understand he give a sign with his hand and point to his ear.

"Should i put it in my ear?"

as per instruction of the weird guy that i just met i put that tube at my ears

"Can you understand me?"

shocked as i can be i almost can't say anything

"Hello Miss, can you hear me"

"Ah yes , yes , i can hear you and i can understand you."

"Ah good then , it seems you not come from around here and your clothes is weird. this place is dangerous you should come with us if you don't want to die needlessly."

"Die?"

"Yes , soon this place will get swept by a strong wind from that direction and that wind will bring rocks within them , and as you might well guess if you get hit rock from that wind with high speed like that your head will get smashed until you can't be recognized anymore."

how scary

"Oh...., okay thank you for helping me then."

as i take the hand of the weird man i jump into his mount and ride with him, i don't have the luxury to distrust anyone at this point so the best i can do is following them. even if i end up in a miserable state i will leave fate decided it to me, i too tired already.

after a while riding the mount i can see some wall that stand quite tall in front of me.

"What is this? or more like where is this?"

"This is the city of Chysney one of few city that build on this barren land but despite that this town is quite prosperous because of ore trade that have quite many stock here."

"I see but if i may ask why you outside earlier , based on what you're saying before there's going to be a deadly storm out there."

"Oh , that, one of our cattle run away when we bring them to drink at nearby water source but it seems that he run quite far and that's when we about to give up we found you miss."

"Ah is that so, by the way you can just call me rin, being called miss makes me uncomfortable."

"Okay Rin then , my name is Absal and that guy over there is Qiu"

"Thank you for helping me Absal, Qiu"

"Never mind that we should help others especially someone that stranded in this barren land."

"Yeah Rin no need to mentioned it."

As Qiu also give his word i really thankful that i met such good people.

"where are we going now?"

"We on our way to my home it should be near by now so you can rest easy."

"Thank you again."

"Ahaha like we said don't mind it."

as we travel for few minutes we arrived at Absal's home it quite big with garden on the outside.

"Greta i'm back."

"oh welcome back Ab-, who is this girl don't tell me you kidnapped someone's daughter."

"No it's not like that i found her all alone at the land outside the wall and it looks like she not from here also."

"You telling me the truth?"

"Yes you can ask Qiu too."

As their argument stopped by Qiu confirmation Greta attention suddenly shifted to me.

"Hello miss my name is Greta i already heard your situation from Ab you can stay here for now , our family may be not too rich but we can accommodate one or two lost traveler.

"Thank you very much , and also please call me Rin."

"Ah is that so, Rin please come with me i will show you your room."

As i follow Greta to other wings of the building i soon arrived in front of a door that supposed to be the door of my room.

"Here is your room , you may rest for now , must be quite tired after all what happened right? i will also bring some change clothes for you so you can change your clothes that already tattered like that."

"umm may i ask something?"

"Yes?"

"Why you guys act so kind to me , don't you find me suspicious at all?"

"Ah about that, it's not a problem Ab is too kind after all and your situation is like him somehow or another."

"like him?"

"Yes , long time ago Ab also lost in the land outside the wall too and he also have amnesia as it seems he got hit by flying rock when the storm happened, my late father that walking the cattle outside the wall found him lying down and he almost at death's door after that my father attend to him and take care of him until he feels better after that my father taking him into family since he don't have son and treat him like his son. i think when he sees you he remembered my late father act of kindness and do exactly that."

"Is that so. Thank you very much then."

"No problem."

After a while Greta bring me change clothes and after changing clothes my body feels so heavy because all the delayed exhaustion all come at once and as i lay down on the bed my consciousness fade away once again.
