1 I'm Sorry

On a brightly lit night, a full moon can be seen through the clear sky. This was the view of a young man sitting on top of the hood of his car. If anyone sees him right now, they can only describe him as a sovereign that seems in control of everything. Standing tall at 184cm, a body with firm muscles, a fair skin that can make females jealous and with his black hair and blue eyes, Sky Frost can only shake his head whenever he was approached by females that wanted his attention.

"Hey! Why are you still doing this? There is no more point on doing this! You already received several invitations to go pro." Recognizing the voice of the person, Sky turned around and saw his bestfriend, Jake, approaching him.

"Haha, I know I did but this will be my last race and plus, Daisy set this one up so how can I refuse this?" he replied with pride knowing that it was his girlfriend that wanted him to leave with a bang to impress everyone before going pro.

"It's always her! Her! Her! I already told you, you can't trust her! I've seen her doing shady stuff behind our back so how come you wont believe me?" Jake retorted.

"Dude, I know we've been bestfriends since childhood, but you gotta take back what you said. She's my girlfriend" Sky was incensed due to how Jake doubted Daisy.

The crowd that gathered to witness the legendary Sky, saw the scene of him and Jake arguing. People who were familiar with them just shook their head as they know that this is about Daisy again. They do sometimes think that this topic will never end until Sky breaks up with her or Jake leaves their team.

Noticing how the two started getting physical, a female approached them and said, "Oh my God, you guys need to stop this! It's almost start of the race and both of you are making a scene again!" the female yelled at them.

Seeing the person that went towards them, Jake sneered at her and walked away. While Sky's irritated face turned beaming right away as he noticed that it was Daisy. While walking towards them, you can see that Daisy is at around 170cm tall. Her long black hair is reaching her hips, a pair of tantalizing light brown eyes and her fair complexion is the most noticeable appearance for her.

Sky looked at her and explained to her what happened.

"Seriously now, both of you are always acting like a kid. I know he doesn't trust me but c'mon now, I will never do anything to betray or harm you." Daisy smiled at him with affection.

"I know that babe. I just can't leave him alone since he's been my bestfriend since i was kid." Sky then hugged her and looked at her with tenderness on his eyes.

"tch! stop staring at me like that, theres people around us you know?"

Onlookers can be seen shaking their head and can not help but comment on the scene "Here we go again"

"Stop it Sky! Get your ass inside the car now and drive it to the starting lane!" Daisy pushed him away after she remembered the race was about to start.

"Got it, got it. Don't worry, I know for sure that I will win this race." Sky laughed it off and thought that Daisy is just excited for his last race.

"Make sure to be safe ok? Don't force yourself out there" Daisy said then waved at him while joining the crowd on the side.

Sky drove his most beloved Subaru BRZ to the starting lane. Everyone was surprised that he is actually willing to race it after they all found out that this was his latest project. This BRZ was used for an engine swap with a VR38DETT and an AWD conversion. They used KW V3 Coilovers for its suspension and it was also tuned to run full E85. People think that he's crazy for doing this kind of modification for a little car but Sky just shrugged them off.

After moving the car behind the line, Sky turned to his left and saw the car beside his, a black Evo 8 MR. This was the car that his rival, Drake, set up for him. As far as he can tell, the vehicle is lowered on Ohlins and equipped with a Precision Turbo Ball Bearing 5862SP. He figured out that this race will be a big challenge for him.

Seeing the two cars lining up, the host of the race went in front and started introducing the racers. Sky was surprised that it was Silver, the vice leader of the other team, that wanted to race him and not their leader. He then looked outside and Drake, the leader, grinning at him. Sky just shrugged it off since he knows that he's always cocky

The host then decided that it was time to race and started asking on his radio if everyones in position. After hearing all the replies, he then went in between of the cars and ask the drivers if they are ready. Silver looked at him then ignored him while Sky said he is. The host then signaled everyone to back away from road so the race can start.

The tense atmosphere was felt by gathered crowd on the sides. They all know that his race will dictate who can be considered kings of the underworld racing. Soon, they all saw the host raised his hand, and the two cars started their launch control. As soon as he brought his hands down, The BRZ took the lead right away due to its lightness and how fast its tire were able to get a grip on the asphalt.

Both drivers launched their cars like they were speed demons. Not even ten seconds later, they suddenly heard the observers in the radio that the cars arrived on the first turn and successfuly passed it. The crowd was stunned. They fully know that it needs atleast twenty seconds to reach that area!

"Omg, those guys are lunatics!"

"I can't believe it only took them ten seconds."

Before they can recover from the news, the observers reported again that the cars reached the 2nd turn but somehow the BRZ fish tailed at the end by going in too fast.

When Jake heard that, he somehow thought that something might not be right. He knows Sky would not make that kind of mistake. He then decided to confront Daisy since he knows that she did the maintenance of Sky's car before the race. But before he can move, the report that the observers broadcasted on the radio terrified him. How did that happen is the only thing running through Jake's mind.

"I repeat! We need emergency services! The BRZ fell down the mountain!" The oberserver from the 3rd turn was frantically screaming through the radio to get some help while he was rushing down to the car that fell.

Jake was horrified, while thinking that this can't be happening, he turned his head to Daisy to only see her nodding to Drake, The rival team's leader. He finally figured everything out. From the start, Daisy was never on their side. This only fueled his hate against her.

"You bitch....." Jake was about to confront her but was stopped by the sound he heard.

*BOOOOOOM*

"No! No No Noooo!!" Jake then rushed to the accident area with his team while still grasping for the little of hope thinking that Sky was able to leave the car before it exploded.

While everyone was heading towards the crash scene, Daisy stood still. Nobody around saw her crying. Nobody knows the feelings shes experiencing right now. The stabbing pain that she can feel in her heart intensified as she started to remember all the memories of her with Sky.

"Why?! Why didn't you stop the car when the brakes was still working? You always mention to me that you'd rather take a loss than get in a accident! I followed his orders thinking that you would stop the race as soon as you felt that something was not right with your car! But now why didnt you?!" Tears was falling down from Daisy's eyes. She then left the scene after whispering towards the area where he fell.
