9 Epilogue

She stood ten feet from the target, an arrow notched in her bow, aiming for the little red circle at the centre. The smell of eucalyptus filled her nostrils as a light breeze picked up her dark brown hair, throwing it across her face. She pulled her bowstring and shot.

THUNK.

As expected, the arrow found homage in the centre of the target. As the arrow hit the target, a memory washed over her. But this time, it was more cheerful. She was hugging her dad and brother in the living room of their old house.

She let go of another arrow.

THUNK. She was having her first dinner at Magic Isle with Rizwan and Alan.

Another arrow zipped through the air.

THUNK. She was meeting her new best friend, Andrea.

She was about to notch another arrow when she heard Alan's voice. "Care to have drink, brownie?"

She rolled her eyes and turned to see Alan holding two tall glasses of lemonade. "Sure.", she said, accepting one of the glasses and leading him to a bench.

They sat down and started sipping their drinks in silence.

"so,are you feeling okay?",Alan asked.

"what makes you think I wont be feeling okay?",sarah asked, eyeing him.

He shrugged and said, "you were shooting with that look on your face. You know, the one where you keep thinking of all your bad memories as you keep shooting"

"I have look on my face when I do that?"she asked, giggling.

"you should keep a mirror near you when you do that. You look like you are going to murder the entire world."

Sarah laughed. "it wasn't bad memories this time,Alan. Somehow, when I destroyed Fear, it feels like I destroyed all my problems."

"Yeah.so what were you thinking of?", Alan asked.

Sarah thought before answering that. After a few seconds, she decided. She replied with a smile.

"Home"
