1 Chapter-1 Lu Yang

"Reality is indeed stranger than fiction" Lu Yang sighed and said with a daze look on his face.

5 days had passed since his transmigration but even so, he couldn't help but again and again, look deeply into the water bowl, every time he drank some water.

The very familiar yet unfamiliar, handsome and clear face, with long black hair, were features that any person would envy.

He had transmigrated...not only that, he had transmigrated with his character Avatar from 'Great-thousand world'.

"ahh it feels so good to be young again.."

Waving his slender arms up and down, Lu Yang couldn't help but feel the taste of youth once more, compared to his old body that was in the Intensive Care Unit 24/7, waiting for death to come day by day his current condition right now was simply heaven.

But of course, nothing was perfect.

"Ouch..there, there, there, there." Lu Yang suddenly cried whilst holding his arms

For now, he really shouldn't move much, his body was literally littered with holes right now.

And As for how he suddenly transmigrated?? Lu Yang had no idea, the last thing he remember was dealing that final crucial blow to the 'Witch of origin' ending the game once and for all.

After that, he remembers the backlash from the forbidden spell suddenly kicking in as his avatar fell to the earth, but in the end that was only his character, it would never affect his real physical body.... or so he thought.

Was it the immense satisfaction bought by finally clearing the game? who knew that the moment his avatar fell to the earth, his 'real' heart would also stop beating at that moment.

Of course, this wasn't totally unexpected for an old man, who was already at death's door...

'but couldn't it wait for me to see what the final reward looks like???'

Thinking back to all these things, Lu Yang could only sigh* in regret.

But then again, looking at his current situation now, it really wasn't bad, after all, who knew if he didn't die at that exact moment, would he even be transmigrated like he was right now?

Thinking up to this, Lu yang let out a helpless smile,

"Welp, all's well that ends well, can't complain, can't complain" LuYang laughed heartily.

However, Soon a frown look crops over his face.

On the top left corner of his vision, was something only he as a player could see- A profile picture displaying how he currently looks, as well as his current level, Hp and Mp were also displayed.

It seems not only his character avatar but also all the game system mechanics had also transmigrated with him.

However because he was too tired and too injured to even moved these past 5 days he hadn't had the time really confirm anything at all, he has not yet know which function still works or if any of them even work at all and how many changes and deviations there might be if even they work as compared to when Lu Yang was still in a game.

"Time to find out" Lu Yang said as he softly muttered.

[Open Profile]

And before him appeared a translucent golden brown window.

Character Name: Lu Yang

Class: Apprentice-Mage Lvl-0

Meditation set: None (Attribute requirement not met)

Exp: 0/10

HP: 5/7 (10)

MP: 5/5 (10)

PHYSIQUE: 0.7 (1)

MAGIC: 0.5 (1)

STATUS: Abnormal condition, a Side effect of using [Final-grade Forbidden spell] (Body unable to heal naturally) (Body under constant decay -1Hp per month) (Physique had been weakened by 30%) (Magic had been weakened by 50%)

What Lu Yang was looking at right now was his overall status provided by the game system, And reading through them Lu Yang almost puked blood, Although he didn't know if all still hold true after transmigrating here into this world and how accurate it will be, he wouldn't dare risk not believing it even if he wants to, After all, if this was accurate and he didn't heed any attention to it, he would die in less than six months.

And looking at his current Level, Lu yang could feel his injuries acting up, this was the real price of using a trump card, his avatar that was originally an over-limit level character, meaning a character that has surpassed LVL-9999 was now it reduces to an LVL-0 apprentice, If Lu yang hadn't already lost so much blood even as an old man he would literally be crying blood right now.

Of course, the profile panel was not the only panel that exists in the game, closing the profile window, Lui Yang focus his attention to the location just below the profile panel, where another panel exist that could be expanded with a swipe of his finger.

CHAT

Private# online-0

Server#58954 Online-0

Regional#65 Online-0

Worldwide# Online-0

It was the chat function that can't be missed in any online vrmmo game, but now seeing the once-bustling chat room gone empty and silent, Lu Yang felt somewhat sad, and now seeing that he was no longer in the game, this panel would most likely become useless.

Closing the chat panel Lu Yang sighed, further ahead, below the chat panel in the left bottom corner of Lu Yang's vision, there was the Gacha Panel, which for some reason was completely grayed out.

"..."

Apparently, his level was now so low now that he did not even have the right to use this function,

Slowly Looking up, in the top-middle corner of Lui Yang's vision were the ingame money/currencies that his avatar currently possesses, even if this character had lost its level, it still possesses wealth that should be possessed by any over-limit level player.

Is what everyone would've think, however-

White Gold:940

Red Gold:3

.

.

.

TOTAL COINS: 3940

"..."

Well, thinking back, he did buy a lot of things in preparation for the last and final battle, but 'holy f*ck' did he really mess up, it wasn't even enough to buy a low-low-healing potion.

"Calm down Lu Yang, Calm down...At least I now had a lot of things stocked up in the inventory.....I think???" said Lu Yang trying to cheer himself up.

Moving on, the next thing in the top right corner Lui Yang's vision was the setting function where functions such as 'automatic translation' etc were located,

In another world such as this, this function was probably the first one, anyone would think it to be useless, However-

'Who knew it could also translate, foreign language of another world?'

Yes, this was the first function that Lu Yang had found a deviation that had not existed while he was still in the game, it was also the function Liu Yang had used most extensively since coming here and the function that convinces him that now for some reason the function in the game now had become applicable in reality.

"If it wasn't for this function then I probably wouldn't be able to communicate with that kid even now" Lui Yang Grimly thought as he said this.

'mmm..It's getting late they should be home soon'

Another panel below the setting function, in the middle right corner of Liu Yang's vision were 3 tiny ball-shaped panels, the Fusion panel (greyed out), upgrade panel (greyed out), and Skill tree.

Here, only the skill tree was not greyed out, but even so, it wasn't yet usable because he did have skill points yet.

Skill points could be earned after leveling up, but since his attribute aka, physique and magic had not met the minimum requirement of '1' (Side effect of using forbidden skill), he could not yet load any meditation set and therefore could not level up.

"Sigh* for now, it seems recovering from my injuries and side effect is the most important thing."

Now just below these functions was another expandable panel, opening it one would have access to the INVENTORY and SHOP.

What Liu Yang was most excited about was the INVENTORY function and seeing that many things were still in the Inventory, he heaves a huge sigh* of relief.

'Finally, something I could depend on' he thought as if a huge rock has lifted from his worn out shoulder.

Although most of the items in the inventory had been used by Lu Yang in the war, there was still quite a lot remaining, he even guessed that he could probably completely recover from his injury and the side effect of using the spell by using the items from the inventory.

Of course, that was cosidering if nothing goes wrong and the healing potion he had stocked up in the inventory still works as they were supposed to.

But as for the setback of levels? That, however, was permanent and Lu Yang would probably have to start again from day-1, the best thing he could do was to heal his injuries and banish those side effects.

After testing out a few things, and taking out some objects from it Lu Yang concluded that the inventory function was still working as it suppose to.

However, The healing potions to heal himself would have to wait for now, until he confirms something first.

And as for the shop function, Liu Yang wasn't as excited as he was for the inventory, after all, it only sold things that would be needed by newbies to get started and things that other players sell, he was in another world and the chances that other players were also here was not very high..

of course Lin haoran was not completely sure.

And FInally, in the bottom right corner was the Map function (Greyed out).

Its main use was to view the surrounding terrain and to teleport to different Maps (continents) of the game, This was a function that had most uses in the game because without it nobody would have been able to leave the newbie village.

But now, Since he was no longer in the game, this was also a function that would most likely lose most of its uses here.

Thinking this, Lu Yang could only sigh* in sadness, of course, some changes could happen to it, much like the 'Automatic translation' function did, but what were the chances?

All in all, Lu Yang's status could be summerise as followed:

Ending his Checkup, Lu Yang heard some footsteps outside and once again laid back down to his shabby wooden bed

"It seems those brats are back" he said as he smiled.
