Yeon encounters the gumiho alone , in a wedding dress, as the rumours say it , the gumiho's was extremely beautiful like an angel descended from heaven.

As he walk towards the gumiho, she prepares to attack, but unfortunately Yeon easily block her attack and pins her.

She begs for her life, insisting she no longer hurts people.

Yeon laughed and said

"With the number of lives you have eaten how can you even dream of a happy ending?"

But nevertheless the fox try to reminds Yeon that he too once was in love with a human, which he hated as it reminded him of his "scandal".

As Yeon is a little disturbed from those words,

her hand transforms into a claw, and she attacks.

He materializes a sword from his red umbrella and holds it to her throat. She begged Yeon to see her husband-to-be for the last time . They're interrupted by an attendant saying that – it's time for the bride's entrance.

Yeon gives her until the end of her ceremony to live.

Meanwhile, our NAM JI-AH, after that scary night, she blossomed into a beautiful woman with beautiful black hair as she inherited it by her mother, her eyes were still mesmerizing and a face like goddess( people refer pretty woman as goddess)as she was now a TV producer.

In a van, she edits an author's script about myths and the supernatural. Ji-ah's mind flashes to the night of the accident as she tells her colleague jae -hwan; she's witnessed the supernatural, and it doesn't scare her.

After they arrive at the wedding hall, Ji-ah gets a text that their informant backed out.

Meanwhile,

Yeon walked by unnoticed and opened the waiting room door only to be attacked by the bride again. But after a few swift, brutal snaps of his umbrella/sword take care of that....

There's a series of pops and cracks as she spins her head back around to the front, grossing Yeon out. She resorts to questioning his authority. What right does a disgraced, former guardian mountain spirit have to punish her?

As she fled to the wedding hall the human men try to stop Yeon not knowing his powers . But when Yeon strikes her husband-to-be she hoes inraged.

Yeon easily got her, after all she was just an ordinary fox; she tells her husband-to-be not to watch as Yeon runs her through with his blade. He calls her foolish for not running when he gave her the chance earlier,

but he agrees to erase her husband's memories of her as her last wish, and she dissolves into ash.

In the lobby of the same wedding hall,

Ji-ah catches sight of Yeon and stands transfixed. She tries to remember where she's seen him. Her colleague pulls her out of her thoughts and suggests they check out the wedding debacle next door.

The witnesses claimed that the bride ran away from the wedding with her lover as the wedding dress lied on the floor with some stains of blood and some red hair.

Ji-ah took that red hair to a doctor/vet and was confused to hear from Gu shin-joo that the hair she found on the dress is from a red fox, a species that was previously endangered. Those left were implanted with GPS trackers, and none are in Seoul.

When she leaves, Shin-joo makes a frantic call.

Meanwhile, Yeon watched people in the park and broods over the fox's talk of his past love,

as he stares at two black bands on his fingers.

He then hears a little girl crying because she lose her balloon; Yeon summons it into his hand and returns it to her. Amazed by this, a little boy asked Yeon if he was an alien?

Yeon claimed of being a gumiho.

He peppers Yeon with questions, learning that Yeon is over 1,000 years old and is waiting for his first love. A fox mates for life.

The little boy adorably encouraged him and offered to be his friend after hearing Yeon's love won't come back.

But Yeon bluntly rejected and said

"I don't want human friends, their lifespans are so short."

He advised the boy not to struggle needlessly with things that are unbearable.
