Yang Ling, a researcher, scientist, and explorer, Is currently venturing deep in one of Mesoamerica's pine oak forests
"Damn it, It seems like there is nothing interesting here"
Yang Ling then thought of heading back until he saw a some stones
The stones was placed in in a circle and there was some half-human half-bird statues placed next to it which points to a cave
Yang Ling got curious and went to the direction the statues was pointing at
Yang Ling walked until he reached the entrance of the cave
He saw that it was dark so he took a flashlight out of his bag that he was carrying
He turned it on and started to venture into the cave
…
Yang Ling started venturing for half an hour and there was nothing he could find
He got into some mazes but that was really all there was to it
Yang Ling then got angry because of how his time got wasted into this cave and started cursing at it
Minutes later Yang Ling stopped and took a deep breath when he suddenly saw a coffin
"What is this?"
The coffin had strange marks on it which appeared to be some kind of ancient language and even had some red markings around the coffin
Seeing all of this yang Ling then came to a conclusion
"This cave probably dates back from the Toltec era, or maybe even before that!"
Thinking of this Yang Ling grinned and thought of opening the coffin
He used his bare hands and pushed the lid out of the way
Once he removed the lid of the coffin he quickly went to see what was in it
"Wha-?"
There was a serpent like creature with wings, most of the body is decomposed but the bones and feathers still remained
"A feather serpent, what feather serpent would be in the Tolt-"
That is when Yang Ling realized something
A feathered serpent, Mesoamerica, Toltec era
There is only one kind of creature that come in Yang Lings mind
The Quetzalcoatl
"This! If it really is the Quetzalcoatl then is there some DNA?"
DNA from a creature of the Toltec era or before is hard to get, especially if it was scattered
But this creature is in a coffin, so there may be a chance of it not spreading and easy to spot
Yang Ling then took out an Injection Needle out of his bag and tried it on the fully not decomposed part of the body
And to Yang Lings luck
He got some blood
"Yes! The blood from a god like creature! I must test this immediately when I head back to china!"
Yang Ling then put the blood into a small tube container and put it in his bag
Yang Ling then started to head out of the cave

Yang Ling has now reached his home
"It is time"
Yang Ling muttered and quickly went to his underground lab that he constructed for his experiments
"Where is it?!"
Yang Ling rummaged through his bag until he finally saw a small tube container contained with blood
"Ah! Finally!"
Yang Ling then took out the small tube container and put it on a small table so he could bring out some of his research equipment's
"Now that its all set, its time to have some fun!"
Yang Ling then researched the DNA of the blood and found out something interesting
Instead of the DNA twirling around it instead was straight
This confused Yang Ling and started to research more and more
But it was hopeless
Yang Ling was scratching his head continuously until he heard a voice
"Daddy?"
Yang Ling turned around and saw a young child
It was his son, Yang Li, Yang Li is a 6 year old boy with black hair and a scar mark on his left eye, he also has one purple eye and one red eye
"Tch, To think I have a useless son like you!"
"What make it worse is that you resemble your mother!"
Yang Lings wife, Lu Qing, disappeared in a full moon without saying anything
Because of this Yang Ling got mad and crazy to the point he hated remembering about Lu Qing
She had white hair which was rare in this world, and she had purple and red eyes too very much like Yang Li's eyes
Yang Li who heard this put his head down and wanted to cry but couldn't or Yang Ling would have started to yell again
Yang Ling then got tired of yelling and thought of something
"Hey brat, time to make yourself useful.."
Yang Li who heard this held his head high with a eyes widely opened and a bright face
"R-Really!?"
"Yes! Now come before I give you a beating!"
Yang Li then quickly flinched and ran next to Yang Ling
Yang Ling took out an Injection Needle and the tube container with Quetzalcoatl's blood
He sucked Quetzalcoatl's blood with the Injection Needle and Injected it to his son
"Ouch"
"Stop being a pussy and stay still!"
Yang Li then endured the pain he got from the needle by biting tightly grabbing the chair he was sitting in
"There all done!"
Saying this Yang Ling then pointed at a large test tube filled with water that could easily fit eight elephants
"Go in that! And don't ask why!"
Yang Ling then point at the oxygen mask in the test tube saying that he has nothing to worry about
Yang Li hesitated and wanted to say something but he couldn't refute his fathers orders and done what he has said
"Alright good! Now just stay there until I saw you could go out! Oh! And don't open your eyes!"
Yang Li nodded and entered the large test tube with his oxygen mask on
Yang Ling then quickly closed the top of the test tube and started researching on Yang Li to see some changes on him
But again, there was no luck..
Yang Ling that saw this got mad and slammed the computer and a small electric generator that was controlling the large test tube
This caused the large test tube to malfunction
Yang Ling then tried many times to open the lid of the large test tube but it was of no use
The oxygen mask that was in the test tube was just a prototype and only lasted the user for a few minutes of oxygen
"Yang Li!!!"
"Da-"
But before he could say anything Yang Li started to drown and was trying his best to push the lid, that is until he saw an emergency button, he quickly went to the the button and pressed it with his fingers, Yang Li was joyous at this moment but it was too late
Yang Li lost all his oxygen and in the end died...
Yang Ling who was Yang Li slowly drifting through the water was panicking and went in to get him out
That is when Yang Ling realized it was too late and started to cry
"DAMNIT! FIRST LU QING! AND NOW YANG LI!"
Yang Ling cursed many time until he had enough and then got a knife from one of his desks
"Sorry son, I'm a failure of a father..."
Yang Ling then slit his throat open with the knife
Yang Ling has now died of suicide...
Now a family has died with regrets and fear...
That is..
Until Yang Li's ring glowed
It was a black and white ring given by Yang Li's mother saying that it would always protect him, even when he is dead
Yang Li's body then vanished out of thin air only leaving Yang Ling's corpse in the lab
