Chasing Stardust: The Billionaire's Contractual Leading Lady

As Vincent and Alana found themselves amidst the grandeur of the party, a sense of unease settled over Alana, despite her composed exterior. Vincent's presence caught her off guard, his perfectly tailored suit a stark contrast to her own discomfort. His gaze lingered on her, a flicker of recognition passing over his face before he concealed it behind a facade of indifference. Vincent: "Alana? What a surprise to see you here." Alana forced a tight-lipped smile, her unease palpable. Alana: "Yes, it's... unexpected." Vincent's eyes betrayed a hint of delight at their reunion, though his demeanor remained stoic, masked by his cold aura. Vincent: "Indeed. One can never predict these events." Alana sensed the tension between them, the awkwardness thickening the air. She shifted uncomfortably, struggling to maintain her composure in the face of their shared history. Vincent's gaze softened imperceptibly, a fleeting moment of warmth amidst the chill of the room. Vincent: "And who might this little one be?" Alana's heart skipped a beat as she glanced down at her niece, a silent reminder of the complexities of her past. Alana, a gifted actress, finds herself thrust into a whirlwind of high society and unexpected twists. Once entangled in a romance with Vincent, a formidable CEO with wealth and power, Alana had moved on from their past. However, when she's roped into attending a mysterious party aimed at selecting Vincent's future wife, old wounds are reopened. To complicate matters, Alana arrives at the party with a child in tow—her sister's offspring, orphaned by a tragic accident. As secrets unravel, Alana must navigate her newfound role as guardian while confronting the unresolved emotions between her and Vincent.

Celestial Bloodline

On a peaceful planet filled with magic and power, Kyle's life was lazy and ordinary, but little did he know, he possessed something extraordinary. He lived his life with his family like any other lazy human, or so he thought, unaware that everything happens for a reason. However, everything changed when he turned sixteen. His older brothers, who were fed up with his laziness, came up with a ridiculous plan to teach him a lesson. They asked him to take the entrance test for one of the biggest academies. They thought this would knock some sense into their lazy brother. Kyle was stunned, but because of their coordinated planning, he reluctantly agreed with a hint of resignation. "I don't think I'll pass the test anyway. So, trying it for the experience isn't a big deal." "The only problem is, I can't guarantee that all my body parts will stay intact until the end of the entrance test." But to Kyle's shock, he passed the test without even lifting a finger! Still, he was convinced that he would eventually be kicked out of the Academy due to his lack of strength. But the moment he set foot in the Academy, he discovered something incredible about himself. He was special and nature's favorite. . . . _____________________ [#I am gonna try my best but I think there will be a lot of grammar mistakes cuz I'm not an english person (; but everyone is welcome to point out the mistakes. Apocrypha Online

Ezra was your typical failure. Burdened by unsurmountable debt and after losing his job too, he contemplated ending it all. With the remaining change in his pocket, he went out for a drink and drunkenly stumbled upon a bridge. There he gazed at the welcoming frozen waters from above. However, before he could work up the nerve, he noticed the shadow of a person, farther down the bridge, take the initiative before him. Without understanding why, he dove off the bridge after the poor soul for an attempted rescue. The weight of the other person dragged them both down into the frozen depths as he struggled to pull them both back to the surface. Soon darkness and a numb sensation ended the futile rescue as Ezra fell unconscious. Waking up in a strange room by a small child-like being in a butler costume, Ezra found himself and his attempted rescue lying on a bare white floor. As he feebly reached his hand across to the person's face, he realized there was no longer any signs of life and attempted to perform CPR. "It's no use. The acolyte is beyond saving. His life bar is now forever capped at 0." Said the strange child. "Life bar? Acolyte? Where am I?" Replied Ezra. "Welcome to Apocrypha: A paradise for killers! Riches, freedom, and all desires can be achieved by the victors of this perilous game!" Announced the small butler with tiny horns, a wink, and a sparkling smile. "But... I've never killed anyone in my life!" Gasped Ezra in disbelief. ------------- Cover art rights belong to artist. If you wish for me to take it down, pm me or leave a note in review/comment.
