8 months after the trio contracted their Familiars.
Kai improved and learned so much in the past 8 months. Kai reached level 6 in just 8 months of continuous healing practice and meditation. Even though he still has no physical practice, his medical knowledge grew by leaps and bounds.
Fleur - his familiar, also improved greatly but because of her high grade, her level isn't so easy to raise, Fleur reached level 4. Her Water Transformation skill, on the other hand helped the Keros family so much. By selling the Life Water made by Fleur, their shop gained more and more customers and profits. Another unexpected benefit of Life Water is that by drinking it everyday, their Max Level increased faster.
(Author's Note: The higher the grade of a beast, the harder it is to increase it's grade.
However, they can defeat lower graded beasts 10 levels or higher than them. Unless they have a unique way to increase their leveling speed, it will take so long to raise them.)

Kai's friends - Angela and Nathan also improved by leaps and bounds.
Angela's Max Level increased by 5 Levels because of Kai, though she had no idea. A week after their classes started, Kai started inviting her to play in his house, which she happily agreed to. She played with Kai and also helped him safekeep the store everytime she visits to play.
After a month, Kai suggested that she can practice her Healing in their store, she can offer her healing services through the store and whatever money she earns is hers, was what he proposed. When Angela heard that, she happily agreed, because of this she visited the store more frequently. Her Healing prowess also improved so much because of her 'part time job'. Kai also gives her Life Water everyday for free.
They also learned a lot about Skye - her familiar's Light Speed Sound Healing Wave skill. First is that the healing can be influenced by emotions, the stronger the emotion the stronger the healing. Second is that because of the Light attribute, the range of her healing is 2 times farther than other Sound attributed beasts. Lastly, unlike other Sound attributed beasts, Skye can either make her healing continuous or she can also concentrate her healing and release it in one burst.
Skye can be said to be the perfect partner for a battle healer, she has an excellent continuous healing output, she can also have a stronger burst of healing output if needed, the best of all is that she can position herself farther from her team, which makes her safer and her teammates can concentrate more on the battle instead of defending her.

Nathan and his familiar - Onyx, is the ones who improved the most out of the three. Because of his family's wealth, Nathan and Onyx received many resources that helped them advance faster. Nathan is also a hardworking kid and doesn't wanna be weaker than anyone in the class. Nathan studied poisons to know how he can best use Onyx's ability to make use of poisons with the help of Angela and Kai.
They found out that Onyx can replicate and produce poisons with the same effect as the ones it consumes, Onyx can also make antidotes for the all the poisons he can make. Because of Nathan's family's wealth, Onyx can now produce four types of poisons with these effects: Drain, Confusion, Burn and Nausea. Onyx can also increase her level by absorbing poison.
Nathan's family is actually very generous, when Nathan's parents heard from him that Kai helped him pick his familiar they gave him enough money to buy another excellent pet for himself (2,500 gold coins), Kai kept the money in his piggy bank. Kai and Angela plays in Nathan's family's mansion from time to time, they are even allowed to use the training room in the mansion.

Kai is currently alone in their store, because his mother is finally giving birth to his baby sister. It can be seen in his expression that he is very anxious, because before his parents left for the hospital he saw his mother in pain. After a few minutes of staring absentmindedly, the store's bell rang and Kai was broken out of his reverie. When Kai turned to look at the customer, he was surprised to see Angela and her father - Uncle Frank.
"Kai! Father said we will sleepover here!" Angela cheerfully said.
"Your father asked me to take care of you while they are gone, so I'm staying here until they get back," uncle Frank informed. Uncle Frank is actually a single father, because Angela's mother died when she was born and he doesn't wanna marry another. In the 8 months that passed Gary and Frank became best of friends and drinking buddies. So it's not a surprise that his father entrusted him to Frank.
"Father said that you will have a new baby sister, I'm jealous can I also be her sister?" - Angela
Kai remembering about having a sister smiled widely and almost braggingly said to Angela, "Of course not, I will be his only brother, you can play with her though".
Kai and Angela chatted and played until they slept at night.
