'That's a book? So valuable!'

"Hundred Thousand?", I almost jumped at my feet in excitement- "A...h-h-hundred thousand? Just for this old dusty binded paper bundle?"

"Yeah.", boss nodded- "Actually it's even less if it is priced at a hundred thousand."

"Don't joke at me Boss! It's unbelievable.", I wasn't still able to believe that such a dusty book can be worth more than a Hundred Thousand Ducats, which is in turn actually more than a Million UCS Dollars.*

"The price doesn't lies in the physical appearance of the book, it's what inside it.", Boss exclaimed with his hands turning the pale and dusty pages of the book.

"Well, As per my knowledge- and what I understood about the language of the Old humans, it's a book about the time when the reknowned third world war was about to start. But, Is that really important for us? Afterall our cloud databases have all the history mentioned in them.", I asked with my eyes still taking a hidden look on the mysteriously valued book in my boss's hands.

"Ha-ha-ha! Our databases indeed have that. But you should know well that many things aren't still recorded in the records made before the Dark era as most of them were wiped out when the Censor bureaus of those Alien Invaders destroyed many data banks of the Capitol cities.", He said mentioning the crackdown on Earthian data banks in the early 2250s- the peak of the Dark era , from which time period no exact information can be derieved in a confirmed way.

"Raiden! Come here! See...", Boss gestured me to come next to him, while his eyes looking straight onto a map-like illustration printed on the open pages of that book.

Pointing at the weird lines drawn on that map of world, He pointed towards a country engulfed with vast and mighty mountains on its north, while the sea washing off its body from three sides.

It was the Union of India.

United, and as diverse it could be.

"Can you tell of which time the map is of?", He asked.

"From the map, I can deduct well that the time when the map was printed- The Indian republic still wasn't in Union with the Chinese government, which was resulted by the Terrorist armies in Middle asia stricking both countries with nukes, causing the two to forget any conflicts and working together to form the largest and biggest alliance the world had ever seen."- I continued- "And that Alliance, even after so many centuries of resisting the atrocious Alien Occupation , stands firm with their differences dissolved in the turmoil of survival."

"You are right. You have a good knowledge of the past. I admire it...", Boss answered me showing his thumbs up and a typical sense of pride on his face.

Saying so, he turned the page and a big sized map of south-east asia came before our eyes, which had many mysterious signs drawn at some places.

Added to those signs, I also noticed there were some words in ink- seemingly written externally of the originally printed content later.

"Look, boss! It seems someone wrote some words here...", I pointed my finger towards the bottom edge of the map.

"Ut-enim-divinitatem-reveles... What's with these words?"- Boss asked me, reading those words.

"Sounds Latin, And what's with those signs?", I asked in return.

"I think they are some markings. But, unfortunately I don't really have an idea what they are."- He paused for a breath, and continued- "What I know, is about the person who wrote this book."

"You mean RSK. right?", I said.

"Yeah.", he continued turning pages- "He was a historian-author of the Indian republic in the peaceful era. His books all are evaluated high in every aspect as in the last years of his life, he wrote many books which stated the condition of the world that time. And, there is a legend about him- that he predicted all those things what happened to us, and what is happening right now. Interesting, right?"

"Well, that's just a legend- You believe that?", I asked him as I really didn't believed in legends.

"Maybe. But, all of his books have high values tagged to them. I even heard those Aliens searched for all his books and destroyed most of them for some reasons. Some reasons, no one really knows why.", He answered with a enigmatic voice.

I suddenly again remembered about the books I found in the Victoria Memorial, which were half-burnt and half left with some pages kept on a dead Alien officer's table. Unfortunately, They all got destroyed when me and my team was evacuating from there.

But, I guess there was some boxes inside a unbreakable-glass vault, which we ignored due to lack of time. I think those had this book which weren't destroyed after the seawater bogged down the whole damn place.

"Raiden? Hey! You again lost in a daze!"- My Boss shouted as it startled me off from my thoughts.

"Haa-Yeah...Yeah boss."

Being woken with a shout, I splurted out random words without thinking anything.

Boss took a second to laugh, and still laughing, he pointed his finger towards a sign on another page- which was of a red-inked Half-blood moon.

It seemed to be made awkwardly in hurry, as the ink on it was extended at the touchout, fading away as the hands holding the pen got away towards right direction.

I got closer to the book a bit, and took a detailed observation of the page where the sign was.

On the page, there was a blurry image printed on it- which looking at the first impression wasn't really determinable, but as I closed my eyes a bit- I realized something.

It was an image of an Alien Megacarrier, flying on high speeds in the sky.

But....how is that possible?

Aliens didn't invade us in 2080s. they attacked us in early 2100s, which has a sizable time-gap between it.

But, How does an Alien carrier end up getting photographed in the late 2080s when the book was printed?

Were they know us from a long time?

Or, Is this RSK really a Foreseer who predicted the future?
