'A surprise on the wall'

!!==[Third Person POV]==!!

"Hands on your back!"

A shrill voice crashed onto the ears of Raiden, freezing him as he was.

"I don't think I can put my hands on my back while holdin' the climbers.", He answered; in a fit of laugh.

"...", No answer came for a moment.

"Shall I come up and all?", Raiden asked, slowly moving his body to get himself on a comfortable position to stand.

"...Ye, You can- You can.", The voice changed a bit from the shrillness.

"Heh...", Raiden sighed, and still not yet having stared at the person behind him- stood next to the rails of the towering wall in front of him.

"Don't move.", The voice came again, and Raiden felt his hands being seized by some familiar hands.

He took a long breath and said-

"Enough, Brat!"

"What do you mean?", The voice appeared; this time having an a sign of being taken aback from the words said by Raiden.

"I mean what I mean.", answered Raiden; smirking- "Give me my stuff back and stop pretending as a ruckus."

"W-What stuff?", The voice stuttered a bit.

"Heh, Stop joking Niloy... I know no one other than you can only use that filthy scent in the whole of the Calcutta city.", Raiden said; turning back towards Niloy's surprised face.

.

.

"Heck."

"Ha-Ha-ha! Got you!", Raiden poked Niloy's arm jokingly.

"Brrr...! Stop it. You are smart; i know.", He said- "But How did you recognized me exactly?", Niloy said; putting his hands over Raiden's shoulders.

"Let it be, I am your brother; It would be a joke If I deny your recognition to me."

"Ah...That, Sure sounds good to me.", He continued- "Here's the stuff you wanted, My brother."

Niloy pointed towards a bagpack kept on the side of the rails, not far to him.

"Let's see what you have got to me.", Raiden said; and opened the bag to check the contents.

"Heh...all fine and sound.", Raiden said; closing the zip of the bag after a thorough plunging of his hands into it's contents.

"So? Where are we goin' then- Brokenhand?"

"May I say ye to find it out yourself, Eh?"

"Aye Aye Brat, Finding is what I have as a talent; Brightmind.", Niloy said; mocking Raiden back.

"Hah...", Raiden took a deep breath; and strapped the bag to his back.

Niloy advanced towards the rails, from where the sea winds now blew over the place they were standing by.

"The Breeze...Nice as Everytime I have felt it to my senses...", He said; yawning.

Raiden came next to him, and stared down.

"High it is, Isn't it?", Niloy asked him as he looked down the hundred feet stretch down the wall.

"A fall from here, and you will either find yourself more broken than getting a broken by the heart.", Raiden said; watching the rocks at the bottom of the wall.

"Heh...That, I needlessly know."

"You know, You know."

"I have heard once in the f*cked up past of this wall, The Sea flowed over these walls, and overran each and every man and life up in that Military District.", Niloy said.

"Aye...What you said is right, at least enough to be-little this Wall's freakin' height."

"Freakin', ah...I heard the Floating city of Dhaka has more high walls than this. I hope the people there aren't freaks like you who freak out seein' this."

"Eh, I am one of the freakin' Freaked up Freakened Freaks.", Raiden said; badly imitating Niloy's deep voice.

As far he can remember, the sea comes straight up to the walls every summer, often thundering the wall with it's unforsakable might.

Fortunate enough, it is mid January in winters, and the sea is enough far to the wall, that if someone gets over the wall on the other side, he would not get wet; at least not if the person falls and dies.

.

.

Raiden stared towards the horizon.

"How did you know that I would come up from here?", Raiden asked; still watching the sea clashing with the ruinlands on the horizon.

"It's close up here, from the Bridge where You asked me to meet. And I well know, you choose the easiest.", Niloy answered; showing a little smile on his peculiar face.

Raiden's eyes turned towards Niloy's face.

"What?", Niloy asked as Raiden stared towards his face for a moment.

"You grow smart...Eh!", Raiden chuckled with his hands patting Niloy's back.

.

.

"So, Why are you going over the Wall; My Comrade?", Niloy asked; fiddling with his jacket chain.

"Ah, Reason?"

"...Yeah, You can put it up like that too-", Niloy chuckled.

Raiden took out his Pda and gave it to Niloy.

"...That F*ckin' Memorial? In this condition?", He continued with a protesting voice- "Did you got something precious as f*ck that you want to take it yourself...Eh?"

Raiden's expression changed; and his face changed it's direction towards the land beyond the walls.

"Precious?"

"Yeah, Precious things; some that shine, some that make some haste, and some that people call money-honey."

"Ah! Some dead of mind, said that Money is that honey which only tastes sweet to the poor. Are you poor, Niloy Brightmind u7Paul?", Raiden said; with a nasty voice.

"Aye, I am.", He took down his dirty and near-torn cap, with sign of it's faded bright colours.

"Then, Come with me.", Raiden said; taking out two grapplers from his back.

"Wait...What? really?"

"More real than your life- Brat.", Raiden said; throwing one grappler towards him.

Niloy tried catching it, but being ill-thrown; it fell off on the ground.

"Ah..", Niloy grunted as he took the Grappler.

"You should have...", He stood up to his proper; and looked towards where Raiden stood all this while.

But, Not a sign of him was to be found by him there.

He realized on the sight-beyond stretch of the Wall, He stood alone now.

*Clack-Ackkk*

A string clanged and clasped the Steel rails of the wall.

Niloy ran upto the rail, and looked down.

"Wait for meh...You quick-moving Lad!"

Smile :)
