Let Me Cook

Hey All! I went dark again for a bit. Of course this time for a shorter time, and for good reason!. I lost access to my account for a while and broke my keyboard. It is what it is though. 

Due to this, I quickly bought another keyboard and decided to just write. Now before you raise your hands in the air and cheer, I did not write for any of my current fics/novels. I had the thought in my head to write a new fic. Why? Because I wanted to test something. I am going to hard focus on that one fic until its done and see what happens. I will start posting it here under my name Oshimura and under Daydul at a few other places starting Monday of next week. 

This fic is my comeback to writing, and to break past the writers block wall that has been stopping me from writing new chapters for everything else. Although, whenever I finish the new fic, I will come back to all of the other ones in some capacity. Most likely in a rewrite/revamp in some form. All this time I haven't really been writing at my full capacity if that makes sense? It's like I have been nerfing myself when it comes to writing and I still haven't gotten to what I feel is my potential even as I write this new fic, which I am probably writing now as this has been posted. 

To give a general idea of what verse this fic will be in, it will be a highschool dxd fic, and no it will not be extremely horny, I won't be writing lemons to the extreme capacity. I may write some here and there if I am feeling up for it, but it depends on how I'm feeling and if I feel that the time is right. I will elude to moments like that happening, but otherwise will lay off of it until I feel like I can write them up to my new standard. The previous way I wrote them is, and has never been up to my current and even previous standards.

Lemons to me are an artform as much as it is to derive horniness. So they take care in my opinion to be written right. Of course this is probably just my brain saying that, but regardless, that's the TLDR of it. 

Now the fic itself will not be the normal, "Hey I go to school for some reason just because I want to stick to canon and be horny for Rias and her peerage." Or "Hey lets kill Issei and steal/remove his sacred gear since he is a disgrace of a harem protagonist." I myself am not a basher of Issei's character, that doesn't mean I like it either, cause I don't. I don't like his character, the dude would have gone to jail several times over if any of the actual Japanese laws were implemented at his school, but due to anime logic he gets to be an unapologetic pervert who talks about porn in public. 

Issei bashing aside, I will be taking an entirely different turn with this one and plan to make a series of fics/rewrites after this one that are jumpstarted by this one. How that is? You will have to find out next week. 

Alongside that, I have set up a P.a.t.r.e.o.n, a discord, and am working on a ko-fi. So when I start regularly posting again, if ya wanna support me by throwing money at my face, or join my discord and see me ramble about random shit, I will be shilling all that out next week as well.

-When will I come back to my other fics? I said before that I do not want to drop anything that I have posted online for people to read because I believed in the potential of all of those fics. A vast majority of them however will most likely be getting a rewrite except for fics like my overgeared fanfic, or my final fantasy one here under my Day_Dul name. Those two have a close place in my heart, and while I may revamp some chapters to fill any plot holes, or fix the overall narrative, they will remain mostly unchanged. 

I will be coming back to my previous fics once I settle into the motions of either finishing the new fic I am working on, or reach a point where I can divert some attention to my previous fics. Outside of that, they will probably be on hiatus for a while longer. I am sorry to disappoint those who were looking forward for my fics to be updated sooner, but I hope I can satiate you in the meantime with my upcoming fic. 

Speaking of which, I think at this point most people who read my stuff have come to realize my obsession with the powerset that is golems, homunculi and the like, so it's only fitting that my latest fic delves into that too, much further this time. The name of it will be: The Collective - Golem Divinity

You may be thinking, 'Oshimura, is the Collective some type of series of fics that reference each other or have a timeline with each other in some way, shape, or form?' No? Well that is the case. I want to start building my own 'Omniverse' of fics that are connected in some way, shape or form through what I named 'The Collective'. I teased The Collective unintentionally in one of the novels I started writing under the name Day_Dul, but I decided to make it a bigger thing. 

Regardless though, those are my current plans, once again, I'm sorry I can't update these fics anytime soon, I just don't have that spark for them right now, but I have an entire fire lit for my new fic, so...See you Monday? Hopefully?
