The Tale of a Clever Little Goblin King

Every creature in this world has to fight to survive, and any race can rise or fall with a little luck, tenacity, or lack thereof. And every species has a vivid history, regardless if it's written in stone or not. The Goblin Race has had one of the hardest times of all creatures in creation, with their greatest heroes being written into the history books of other civilizations at the end of a sword or arrow. Any "insurgency" of their culture has been snuffed out before it ever started, for the greater good of the winning side of course. They have been regarded as one of the most savage, boorish, malicious, and uncultured races to ever exist, and for all accounts good reason. Instead of innovating they raid the nearest signs of life for food, clothing. weapons, and anything else they can grab. Yet what if a goblin wants more for his people? What if a goblin looks on to the great nations of this world with envy and passion in his eyes? What if a goblin wants the chance to change his lot in life, and change the fate of his people?
