Chapter 1

"Bang!" the sound of a single gunshot echoed across the camp soon followed by the collapse of a body. The body belonged to Sarah Pearce a strong General in the Army who was a great Tactician and loyal friend. It was a few days before her unit was supposed to join the war when an Assassin infiltrated her base to claim her life so she could not help in the upcoming conflict. Catching her off guard the assassin found and shot her in the chest. "Sarah!" a male soldier yelled as he rushed towards his superior Officer while some other soldiers apprehended the Assassin.

Sarah laid still on the floor releasing ragged breaths as blood seeped from the wound in her chest. Slightly turning her head to face the soldier she let out a soft smile, " Looks like this where we part ways Char.... maybe in another life you can be my right hand again," she said quietly as her vision began to dim. "Don't say such things!" Char exclaimed as tears began to spill from his eyes. He picked her up and carried her to the medical area in hopes of getting his closest friend to a doctor in time. She slowly lifted her arm to touch his cheek with a smile still on her face.

There were so many things she wished to say but knew she couldn't and only smiled at him reassuringly. Suddenly her breathing stopped and her arm fell limp to her side. "Sarah! " Char screamed as the life left her body with a smile still on her face. When Sarah opened her eyes she expected to be standing on white fluffy clouds looking at a large golden gate and clear blue sky but instead she saw an endless dark void with a small screen in the center. Curious she approached the screen with caution and read what it said, "Do You want to live?"

Underneath the question was a Yes and a No box. Although she was fine with her death she didn't want to die so she decided to click yes. As soon as she did the dark void changed into what looked like an old fashioned office. In front of her stood a man with red hair and blue eyes who looked like he was in his early twenties. He stood at 5'10 wearing a black Victorian style suit. He towered over her measly height of 5'0.

"Ms . Pearce I assume," the man spoke with a strong but monotone voice meeting her eyes with a judging stare. "Yes, and who are you?" she asked a little afraid of the person in front of her. "Where are my manners, I'm Tac The Tactician System, " Tac introduced himself offering her a handshake. "The what?" she asked as she tilted her head thinking she misheard him. 'System? yeah right, ' she thought.

"The Tactician system, when you died you were asked if you still want to live. By choosing yes you agreed to merging with a system that suited you best which would be me. Considering your previous occupation it does make sense, " Tac answered swiftly hoping to finish as quickly as possible. These words left her speechless with her mouth a gape as her mind raced with many thoughts.

'A system just like the books I used to read as a child. Will I get sent to a fantasy world? Maybe I might get to restart my old life?' and many more. As she kept thinking of the possibilities Tac cleared his throat to regain her attention. Due to the sound she took a deep breath to regain her composure before speaking.

"So what will I be doing with the Tactician System? "Sarah asked wanting to know what her future will be. Tac nodded, "The Tactician System is pretty self explanatory it's a system that will help Tactician's gain more knowledge and reputation. You will be reincarnated into the body of a Tactician or Tactician to be.

You will receive all of their memories and abilities as well as keep your own. Know that you will be an important Tactician in the world so remember every move you make counts. So, are you ready or do you wish to remain dead?" Sarah evaluated her options and chose to go through with it. 'Why not? I have nothing to loose'. Stepping towards Tac she shook his still outstretched hand. In a flash of light he vanished into a ball and collided with her. All of a sudden she heard Tac's voice In her head "System merging 10%....45%...70%...99%...100%" Slowly the office setting shattered leaving behind a dark space once again.

"Now what?"Sarah asked. "You will be going to a world called Fire Emblem Awakening. You will control the body of a girl named Robin," Tac replied answering her question. "WHAAAAT?" Sarah exclaimed. Before she could continue her rant she was interpreted by a feminine voice.
