14 The System Has Google

Since Aiden was being bored, he just decided to level up the skill. And moments after inserting his skill points, system notifications appeared in front of his face.

"Uh system, isn't that too generic of a name?" Aiden asked slowly as he read the name of the new skill.

< Is that so host? My bad, I didn't know. > The system replied as Aiden raised his eyebrows.

"You are being sarcastic system." He said in a surprised tone as this was the first time he was feeling a sense of emotions in his system's voice.

< Yes, host, that was sarcasm. Do you think it's that easy to think of a cool name that will also tell something about the skill? If so, then you can think of a name yourself. > The system replied as Aiden shook his head.

"This name is all right system." Aiden replied as he sat down on the floor and closed his eyes.

The shadows of his bed and his body both rose in the air together and merged as they traveled in front of his face. He then opened his eyes and imagined the shadows turning into a cube as their shape slowly started to change.

The shadows moved slowly into a square shape before they started expanding and slowly turned into a cube. Aiden kept staring at the purple-black cube in front of his face as he sighed in relief.

After practicing for more than a month, he had finally been able to create a 3D shape and make it hold its shape while looking somewhere else.

'Hey system, I have been wondering about how I looked. Is there any way for me to see my own face?' Aiden asked as he had been getting curious about his looks.

< You can convert your shadow to look exactly like you host. Though it won't move or anything. > The system replied as Aiden thought about himself.

The cube dismantled and fell on the ground as it slowly took shape of Aiden. It turned into a child sitting on the floor. The child had black hair and deep blood-red eyes.

'I look kind of cute.' Aiden thought as he eyed his body left and right before turning it back to shadows.

"It took me more than a month to create a 3D shape and yet I was easily able to make the shadows turn into myself. How is that possible?" Aiden asked as he turned the shadows into a tennis ball and randomly started tossing it up and catching it.

< It's because it's your shadow host. A shadow is created by the light reflected by an opaque or a translucent object so you can turn it into an object or person if you manage to get hold of the shadow. > The system replied as Aiden suddenly stopped tossing the ball.

"So can I make clones of myself using this?" Aiden asked in excitement as various ideas popped up in his mind.

< This is not The Naruto system host. > The system replied with what felt like a sigh.

"How did you know that system?" Aiden asked in confusion since he didn't think that the system could watch anime.

< I don't watch anime host, I just learned that from your memories. >

"I don't believe you. If you know everything about me, then tell me the number of times I have breathed." Aiden said as the system went silent for a few seconds before answering his question.

< You have breathed for a total of 700, 000, 000 breaths, host. > The system replied as Aiden narrowed his eyes.

"Did you somehow google that answer system?" Aiden asked the system didn't reply so he instead decided to take matters into his own hands.

"Ok Google!" He said out loud as a clicking sound made him sigh.

"You could have at least turned off that feature you know." Aiden said while sighing as the system remained silent.

"Should I try to call Infini and tell her that you aren't responding?" Aiden then tried a different way and it worked perfectly.

< Don't you dare do that host. I admit that I can use google here. > The system muttered as Aiden was suddenly interested.

"Now how can you do that here? And how do you even know about google in the first place?" Aiden asked as the google main screen appeared in front of him.

< I am a person too host so I know everything about modern-day life as well as old-world life. I owe Miss Infini a lot of things, including my life, so I agreed to become a system. I may sound like a modern person but I am almost as old as the gods in myths. > The system replied as Aiden's jaw was left hanging wide open.

"You are that old system?" He asked in a baffled voice as the google screen vanished in front of his face.

< I told you, host, it may not feel like it but I am very old. > The system replied as Aiden nodded.

"You should have told me earlier that you had google. I would have read a few web novels to see what I should do in the future if I ever got into a tight spot." Aiden said with a sigh since he didn't get the protagonist training in his past life.

< I don't think that you should do that host. It will just turn you into a protagonist. > The system replied as Aiden suddenly went silent.

Even though everything he had was great and he was enjoying his life, he had somewhat forgotten that he was the heir of the demon king and queen. If things went like they were going, he was in for a very rough life.

"Then I guess I will forge my own path instead of becoming a hero or a villain like I told Infini. But I wonder what exactly does it mean to live?" Aiden wondered out loud as he didn't know what the joy of living was.

< It includes many things host and one of them is the feeling of falling in love. And it doesn't just happens once. Remember host, a normal life isn't always better. Life should be full of excitement. I will try my best to make sure that you experience all of that xD. > The system said as Aiden smiled at that.

"We will see system." He replied while smiling as he got back to his grinding.
