19 Hell Week

Draig woke groggily before completing his morning routine of hygiene, he went to the basement as he had been thinking of his weapon of choice but had found that he was actually out of materials. With his current standing with the normal populace Draig knew that buying them wouldn't be an option and he had essentially burned bridges with Warren, sighing to himself he figured it was time to start though he had hoped for a bit more time to train his recruits.

"Dracule, have Kira assemble the troops at the non steel wall in front of the pile of rock" ordered Draig

"It will be done" came the answer from the shadows

Draig nodded and looked at the two rings he had created, it was truly beautiful as it was embedded with with a few Blood gems. They were truly a sight to behold and these were also a part of Draig's trump card.

However as he looked at those rings his hand subconsciously felt his pocket where a small book was placed.

'I could...... I'll meet with Kira and the troops first' thought Draig as he left the rings behind.

It didn't take the young Feratu much time to get to the rock he had turned into a golem, and surprisingly the troops were already there though they were a pathetic sight as they still attempted to regain control of their breathing.

"We're here Leech Lord" called Kira upon noticing Draig.

"I can see that, but do keep in mind how you address the one holding your life in their palm." commented Draig cutting his eyes towards Kira's ring, it wasn't that he particularly cared about the name but Draig would need these troops to in the future fear him to the point of never questioning his orders.

Kira followed the look and understood while remaining silent, no trace of anger could be seen on the old wolf's face.

"I am rather hurried today so I will make this quick, behind this guardian is an entrance to the Beast lands. Kira as your current commander will lead you all into it's depths, your mission is simple. Collect as many materials as possible while surviving, for those of you that do live I expect great things. You may depart on Kira's orders" announced Draig before turning on his heel and leaving the group.

"Well you heard him you worthless mortal scum, return to base camp and grab your gear, I want to be in that forest before sunset" howled Kira his voice echoing through the area.

Draig smirked slightly before his figure seemed to disappear for a second but then was clearly seen as a blur appeared before the gate of the Farm.

It had been a long time since Draig had personally left the Farm, there wasn't the hesitation you would expect from someone facing a similar situation instead all that could be seen was the avarice that filled his eyes when he stroked his Tome. Draig smirked expecting to see horrified faces but it seemed that a momentary lack of appearance had actually made him not so easily recognized.

'It's better like this anyways' thought Draig as he looked at his shabby clothing, shabby in the sense he had worked in them for too long.

Looking at his waist and seeing the bottomless bag Draig nodded and ducked into the streets heading for a clothing store. It was unknown to the young Feratu that a blank faced girl was staring at his figure with an unreadable look in her eyes, but seeing the Feratu she quickly followed gaining the attention of the masses.

Draig inside the clothing store had chosen rather quickly, choosing a leather over coat with a silk lining over his black chest piece, the particular store in question was owned by a retired Guilder who specialized in crafting which is why the normal looking clothing was actually so sturdy. He catered to those Guilders who wanted to look as good on and off the battlefield, Draig looked at himself again and nodded noticing that a few of the leather padded areas had a thin layer of still under the black fabric.

Draig looked the picture of a Vampire now as he finished his purchase while retrieving a few more sets before stuffing them in his Bottomless Bag. His outfit was all black, his top had no sleeves allowing for great mobility and was padded and armored in the most crucial places, his pants were loose but not baggy allowing for optimal area of movement and finally he chose a set of dress shoes before tying it all together with a black leather duster.

The look was something he found to be more agreeable as he was a creature of the night but he also needed to find something with a bit more protection for what he was intending to do.

"Sylvie knew it was you" came the monotonous voice from behind causing Draig to turn around while also gaining everyone else's attention.

"It's Sylvie the Slayer" came one voice before others started flooding the street with praises for the blank faced girl.

"Sylvie thought you died" admitted the girl ignoring the people around them.

"Why were you following me" asked Draig, the girl made him a bit nervous as she could easily tail him until now without his notice.

"Sylvie needed help" explained Sylvie before she grabbed onto Draig's hand and the two seemed to vanish into thin air.

Draig and Sylvie crashed in a bolt of lighting surprising the young Feratu when he looked at Sylvie and saw scales instead of skin and Lightning sparking instead of hair. Draig launched backwards quickly while raising his right hand and flexing his claws while his left hand held the glow of a spell.

Sylvie watched all this without any change in expression before she returned to normal.

Draig saw Sylvie turn back into a human girl and started to doubt himself.

"Sylvie is human" stated Sylvie as if trying to answer a question that had not been asked.

"Then what was that just now" demanded Draig warily

"Sylvie is a Demon Hunter, this is her class. Sylvie turns into elemental Demons to fight, but her class is troubling." explained Sylvie with a crinkle of her brow.

"How so" asked Draig in interest

"Sylvie loses control when she can't channel her energy" explained Sylvie looking at Draig for a solution.

"Why me" asked Draig after a moment.

"Sylvie thinks sir enchanter has a solution because he is a monster" answered Sylvie honestly but Draig narrowed his eyes slightly.

"I see" stated Draig with an edge.

Sylvie nodded looking towards Draig with a bit of hope.

"So you think that we are the same because of your system" asked Draig as his hair shadowed his eyes.

"Sylvie is half Demon because of her system" explained Sylvie but Draig cut her off.

"Silence, you are a mortal the same as them. To dare compare yourself to me because of your system is ignorant, tell me if we are really the same then why am I hated while you are praised. I was born a Vampire, I didn't get my race from a system so don't think that you can relate because you happen to get a system that gave you characteristics of a Demon" sneered Draig as he stood up to leave, his anger was ignited upon hearing the girl's reasoning. Her reasoning was ignorant at best and to actually compare with him? It had left him with a bad taste.

"Sylvie didn't mean it like that, she was only trying to seek assistance. Sylvie thought you would know about monsters since you are a Vampire, Sylvie doesn't want to lose control again" stated Sylvie though a touch of sadness could be seen in the usually blank expression.

Draig stopped and fought with himself for a moment until he grudgingly turned around and gestured for Sylvie to follow.

"Come on before I change my mind" muttered Draig

Soon the two disappeared from the spot they were and just in time to miss the footsteps of a certain mage touching down.

"I could have sworn that brat was just here, where the hell did he go" mumbled Zarra angrily.

Unknown to the mage the two were currently discussing in the Farm.
