87 [Vengenence! Part-2]
I gave him a questioning look as he said, "I need an audience with the Hokage..."
'...what? You realize you are an S-class rogue-nin right?'
"Alright, I know you can blend in, but here..." I took out my spare ANBU uniform, and my old mask and give it to him… He quickly gets dressed into the outfit and put a genjutsu covering his headband as we started to make way towards the village…
'It would take us an hour to enter the village and if he doesn't wanna talk it would turn awkward very quickly...'
"I apologize for my sudden request Tobi-kun, but there are a lot of things that I need to report to Hokage-sama..."
"It's alright Itachi-san..." I didn't know what else to say and seeing me struggling he decided to elaborate, "Danzo used Katoamatsukami on me, but his instructions were not to kill the Uchiha clan, I was already ready to do that for peace..." I gave him a puzzled look, "My instructions were to go rogue and infiltrate Akatsuki, but the information gathered was not given to Hokage-sama but Danzo..."
'Right… you can only give one order with Katoamatsukami, it was either to kill the Uchiha or going rogue...'
"What is Akatsuki? What is its goal?" I was puzzled by this question a lot during the past few years, the shadow organization that has always been on the forefront of major scandals throughout the elemental nations but still has most of its members marked unknown…
"I'll explain it in a bit Tobi-kun, let's speed up..."
'I guess this is more urgent than we thought...'

We sneaked into the village easily as we were in proper ANBU gear… We arrive at the Hokage residence and made our way through the ANBU entrance, I provided all the passcodes as both of us stood in front of Tsunade-sama who was hidden behind a stack of paperwork…
"What is it, Weasel? I am stuck with this massive amount of crap..."
I used the ANBU sign language to indicate, potential ...S-Rank ...secret...privacy … seals. Her expression changed as she said, "ANBU" The ANBU captain in charge of guard duty came and I flared my chakra in a particular pattern before he nodded and left... Tsunade-sama activated some privacy seals and Itachi stepped forward… he placed a scroll on the table then backed off to stand before me…
The scroll had the Hokage seal on it, and I had a little idea what this could be about. Tsunade-sama opened the scroll and started reading, I could sense her emotions dwindling down as she cursed, "Dammit Sensei!!"
'Hmm, looks like Lord third at least was a little prepared for this...'
Tsunade-sama took a sake bottle out of her desk and began pouring herself a glass as she asked, "Uchiha Itachi I presume?"
Itachi-san removed his mask and bowed lightly, "Hokage-sama..." Getting the confirmation she needed, she gulped down the glass of shake and asked, "I can confirm that the letter is indeed written by Sarutobi-sensei but, why is there no mention of your reports in notes left by him?"
Itachi hesitated before he said, "There is an Uchiha Genjutsu called Katoamatsukami..." Tsunade-sama looked towards me with a raised eyebrow as Itachi realized that she knows about my Mangekyou, "... no Tobi-kun didn't use it on me, Danzo Shimura also has access to Shisui Uchiha's eye and he used it on me to deliver all the information to him instead of Hokage-sama..."
She looked at him for a second before pouring another glass and gulping it down… "Why now?" Her question was straightforward as I could see she was getting pretty annoyed at not knowing everything about the village despite being the Hokage…
"...Because Tobi-kun here implanted the other eye of Uchiha Shisui which broke me out of the Katoamatsukami, there is also a lot of information you need to know before any decisions..."
She started to massage her head before she said, "put your mask on Itachi..." She undid the privacy seals and flared her chakra, and ANBU appeared in front of her as she said, "Get me Nara Shikaku, the ANBU commander, and Hatake Kakashi... Tell them they have 1 minute!" The ANBU swiftly left as I felt like I am still stuck in a high profile situation…
Tsunade-sama was just dumping the documents away from her table into a scroll as the ANBU commander arrived with a shunshin… his gaze was instantly locked onto Itachi's frame as I could sense he was puzzled, Nara Shikaku was the next to arrive, yawning and slowly slouching into the room as Tsunade-sama passed the scroll signed by Lord third to him, he was already a little alert upon seeing the ANBU commander already present but as he read the scroll his stance became rigid as he stared at Tsunade-sama…
"Get in here Kakashi!" Kakashi-san arrived at the window and sat down on it out of habit but he climbed inside upon hearing Tsunade-sama's shout… As soon as everyone was inside Tsunade-sama once again activated the privacy seals as the outside world faded from my perception…
"You can begin Itachi..."

Kakashi-san instantly pulled up his headband and started scanning Itachi whereas Shikaku-san just stared at him with a little bit of remorse…
"As most of you know I am part of a shadow organization called Akatsuki, we can go into detail later but I need to report back to them soon so I'll make this quick… Akatsuki is stirring trouble in the background and war is about to break out soon!"

'...and there goes my plan to give my ANBU duties a rest...'
