14 [Team-Meeting]

------------Training ground 8, 6:30 A.M------------

I arrived 30 minutes earlier than the specified time, there was no one in sight so I started a slight warmup routine to pass the time…

Shino was the next to arrive, He was silent like he always was and if not for the weapons in his pouch I wouldn't be able to hear him come close…

"Ohayo! Shino-san"

"Ohayo! Tobi-san"

'Yeah, I didn't expect anything else than a greeting...still Shino is a reliable teammate'

I think back to yesterday after sensei left us and we assessed each other's skill level...Shino is good.

'Yeah, I thought Shikamaru was the only one that was not giving his all during the academy, but Shino hid his strength pretty well too...His taijutsu is solid, his use of his bloodline is versatile, has got all the bases covered. Hinata on the other hand has good taijutsu and shurikenjutsu skills, but she lags behind on physical conditioning and chakra control.'

"Tobi-san?" 'huh...didn't expect him to be the first one among us try and talk...'

"Hai?" I asked him while stop doing pushups and giving him an arched eyebrow.

"Where did you learn medical ninjutsu…?" Shino showed no change in expression even when asking the question. His forehead didn't crease, I can't see his eyes and his voice was monotone so that gave me nothing on his feelings…

"The basic medical knowledge and skill like the healing technique is available to everyone its just that the chakra control requirements are a little harsh. The mystical palm technique I saw someone using and since I am a sensor, using the same hand signs I tried to manipulate the flow of my chakra like that of the medic-nin… I trained it on the fish that I got from the pool behind you..."

Shino nodded at my argument so I went back to doing my pushups...Hinata was the next to arrive, she was wearing the same lavender hoodie and blue pants. She seemed a bit nervous like always and had a little blush on her cheeks.

"Ohayo, Tobi-san, Shino-san"

"Ohayo Hinata-san"

After greeting we just awkwardly waited for 5 minutes before sensei arrived. Kurenai-Sensei was dressed in her usual red dress with bandages covering her form. She had red lipstick on had a light purple eyeshadow. As she arrived we each stood in front of her waiting for orders.

"Ohayo everyone! So what I wanted to know today, what is your current skill set so we could start performing our duties as a team. Hinata you go first!"

"Hai! Sensei, My primary focus is mostly on learning and perfecting gentle fist, I am proficient in Shurikenjutsu, and my bloodline Byakugan."

"Okay! Shino!"

"Hai! I am proficient in taijutsu and my clan's techniques along with having a primary hive and a secondary hive. I can't learn a lot of ninjutsu because my clan's teachings take most of my chakra so I practise Taijutsu as an alternative failsafe..."

"Okay! Now Tobi!"

"Hai sensei, I focus mostly on taijutsu, kenjutsu, ninjutsu, medical ninjutsu and a little bit of genjutsu..."

"..." *Blink*

"Can you go into a little bit of detail regarding ninjutsu? Your file didn't mention anything regarding it and I also have some questions regarding your medical ninjutsu and genjutsu..."

I nod and stepped away from the group and towards the lake…

'Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu'

A ball the size of 4m in diameter emerged from the flames ejecting from my mouth and traveled on the surface of the lake evaporating the surface water… I wait to stabilize my chakra for a second before going through the second set of hand seals and blowing 15 small balls of fireballs that zoomed across the lake and blasted into the river.

'Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu'

'I guess that should be enough for a genin right! Well, I guess I can do one more...'

'Fire Style: Dragon fire technique'

A small stream of fire exits my mouth and takes the shape of a miniature dragon, the jutsu looked like a flame thrower with a dragon's head in front of the stream. I pant a little after using 3 chakra intensive jutsu's simultaneously and checking on my HUD they combined took 25% of my total CP.

I jog back towards my team who were looking at me with a little shock.

'Guess that was too much?'

Kurenai sensei took a deep breath before enquiring about my medical ninjutsu and Genjutsu. I repeated the same story that I told Shino to which she listened intently before I did the only genjutsu I know to date.

'Genjutsu: Demonic Illusion technique'

'I guess her main proficiency is genjutsu and she knows I am doing it so it should take maybe a second for her to breakthrough it given the level difference… and she broke through in 0.5 seconds bravo.'

As I berated my maxed leveled Silver tired skill that should totally work on a chunin, Kurenai sensei was seemingly giving me a bright smile.

"Okay team, we would like to postpone some plans as first we need to go to the hospital. I wanted to get you guys a thorough scan for any hidden injuries before we start training, but seeing Tobi's medical skills are self-taught we need to get him permission to actually use them on other people so our team can have a combat medic."

"But Sensei..." as I was about to protest her idea of exposing my knowledge of knowing medical ninjutsu, she continued, "We need to know that you aren't doing anything wrong Tobi-kun so that you don't hurt yourself and others when healing them...It's just a small test you don't need to worry about it..."

'I am not worrying, I just don't wanna be in the limelight before I am strong enough...'

*sigh*

"Hai! Sensei!"

"Well come on everyone let's not waste time..."

' As she ushered us towards the hospital, the only thing I could think was she seemed to be like a mother hen...always over-analyzing and worrying about stuff..."

'Well, I guess I could use this opportunity to get my hands on more medical knowledge...'
