The memories further were filled with more experiments until Kabuto one day went out of their hideout… '...he said he's going to do something that Orochimaru couldn't do?? What the heck does that mean??' I pushed further into her memories trying to figure out what happened but I could sense multiple chakra signatures closing on my location…

I release the shadow clones and get some of my chakra back and notice that I have only around 50% left…

I let go of Karin's head and manipulated the Stone hemisphere covering us to recede along with the table…
Karin was left to lie on the floor while I looked at Kabuto and his two henchmen approach…
"You look better than I last left you..." He was completely different than what he looked like in the memories… He was wearing glasses and also had his skin color back, but the weird thing was the scales on his body, along with that the purple area around his eyes was more pronounced…
'His chakra's way different than the last time I saw him...I could sense a hint of Orochimaru's chakra in him and almost a part of the masked man's chakra… if he has the Sharingan this will be a lot more difficult than it should be...'
I started channeling swift release chakra to my limbs, as I got ready to dash and pick up Karin in order to retreat…

I could barely react in time to escape his swipe of chakra scalpel as I just dashed back and he stood in front of Karin and indicated one of his henchmen to take her away

I released the Iron sand armor which shielded me from the spikes and also helped me float into the air…
I looked back at Kabuto while I hovered in midair… A snake-like head was attached to his abdomen, the purple shade was fully covering his eyes and he looked amused at me trying to dodge his attacks…
'Shit, what are these techniques...' As I was wondering what to do he went through another set of hand seals…

A dragon made from air tore towards me and I levitated myself away from its calculated path but it suddenly coiled into itself…

A piercing sound emerged for the jutsu and I could just cover my ears, but it was affecting my senses…

As soon as the sound ended I flew back and slashed his arm off with my sword but Kabuto's hand still managed to slash my chest with a deep cut… my ANBU armor was cut off and fell off as I levitated my Iron sand to fly at a distance of 300m above the ground…

Green chakra flared along my chest as the wound started closing, but I notice that Kabuto just walked to the slashed hand and put it back against his elbow and it started to attach itself in place…

It is a stalemate but a stalemate in which I suffered a wound… It was the first time I have been wounded this deep in battle and I look at my remaining 45% Chakra…
