I was sitting on top of Hokage-sama's head… After leaving Mom and Dad in the bunker, The ANBU's did another sweep of Konoha, I checked up on Yugao-nee and after that proceeded to make my way towards the Hokage mountain… Sasuke seems like he wants to ask me something but he seems hesitant…
"Since when are you in ANBU?"
"After the second test..."
"..."
I sat there on Hokage-sama's face as he walked up and leaned against his hair…
"Out with it Sasuke..."
"How did you become so strong so quickly?"
'By shopping...duh!'
"Just mindlessly training won't help you achieve that Sasuke… what is your goal?"
"To kill someone and restore my clan!!"
'Admirable goal… killing and fucking!'
"You know the person you want to kill… he was an ANBU caption at our age..."
He seemed pissed at that and stood up to leave…
"If you are gonna be pissed every time someone mentioned Itachi then you are in the wrong village, Sasuke..."
He stops, maybe the curiosity about what I was saying got the better of him…
"Why don't you look at the records and achievement section at the library… There were three geniuses or prodigies recognized by the Hidden leaf over the last couple of decades… Namikaze Minato, the fourth Hokage…Hatake Kakashi, your sensei… and Uchiha Itachi… You want to avenge your clan but the records Itachi left behind will forever remain here until broken… Even a genin can kill a kage, Sasuke. But if you want to atone for the sins of your brother, you need to make Konoha forget about him..."
He walked back towards me… "How do you know all that!"
"My goal is surpassing the Fourth… I learned about your brother while searching for more information about him… to tell you the truth Sasuke, I don't like you very much… you pursue power to kill your brother, I can understand your desire for vengeance… but think about what you will become if you continue down the path..."
I sat up and walk up to the edge and turn around to look at Sasuke…
"Your vengeance is your deal Sasuke, nobody can take it away from you, Itachi won't grow any weaker out there without the safety of the village… But make sure you don't turn into another Itachi in the process, The Fourth stopped the Kyubi for harming the Leaf… If I am aiming for him I won't hesitate to take you down, at best you will be another Uchiha Itachi..."
"..."
He walked away without saying anything and I let myself fall down the Hokage mountain...

It was drizzling as I accompanied Yugao-nee to the hero statue…
'Is that...' A familiar chakra signature was standing in front of the hero statue… We slowly made our way towards him and since this was quite a nice occasion, I started keeping track of his emotions...
'Sadness...regret...' I guess he lost a lot of comrades during his career as a shinobi…
'Huh is that...' I notice the white-haired man again… he was silently watching…

"Are those for Hayate?"
Both me and Yugao-nee were carrying flowers… I nod as I went forward and placed them in front of the stone... I look at the newly etched name…

I brush the name softly with my thumb and then stood up and walked away from the reminiscing pair…
I lean against a tree nearby and I could sense him coming…

We arrive at the ceremony for the Third Hokage, it was pouring now as we all just stood there remembering our interactions with those fallen during the last battle…

To be truthful I didn't know the Hokage personally but there were a lot of people who did… I can't console anyone but I do feel an emptiness looking at the figure of Hokage-sama upon the Hokage mountain…
He Held into the reigns of Konoha the longest among his peers…
