"Are you sure your genjutsu worked Tobi-kun?" Tsunade-sama asked… "Yes, Tsunade-sama..." She nodded and turned to the ANBU commander, "Decrease the number of patrols, and just do a quick sweep around Konoha, and also open the gates, there is no point either way..." The instructions were passed along and an ANBU left the chambers to spread the message…

Shikaku-san turned to me and asked, "The Sharingan explains how you could have used your extreme speed, to take the sword from S-class Ninja, but how come Itachi didn't stop you..."

"Because he was in the process of activating his Mangekyou, the time period in which I change my eyes from a Sharingan to a Mangekyou Sharingan, the normal abilities stop functioning… so for that single second you can assume Itachi had normal eyes, plus he closed his eyes, so that gave me an opportunity..."

'Although I didn't know about it at that time, and attacking head-on was a stupid decision at best...'

Shikaku-san nodded and it seems like he is trying to fill all the holes in his scenarios… "How do you have the Sharingan?" Tsunade-sama, Danzo, and the other elders shuddered at the mention of that name, but the rest of the council members merely frowned… "Are you sure that was the name Tobi-kun..." Tsunade-sama's voice was soft and she looked straight into my eyes even though my Mangekyou was still activated, "Yes Tsunade-sama, he said his name was, Uchiha Madara..."

The room descended into silence as everyone went into their own thoughts, after a while, Shikaku-san spoke, "...according to the documents the body of Uchiha Madara was never recovered… I don't think he is Madara, but it is possible that they share a link..."

Shikaku-san's words broke the equilibrium as everyone started discussing about Uchiha Madara, or more realistically the masked man… Danzo was the one who broke the silence, "we need to reevaluate the diplomatic marriage with the Sand, we cannot take chances and let Uchiha bloodline fall into the hands of Suna..."

Almost everyone agreed and Tsunade-sama looked towards me, "What do you think Tobi?"

I nod my head and say, "We can do that, but we still have 4-5 years before we need to make that decision… I don't think that we need to take that decision now with Iwa and Kumo knocking at our borders…" everyone murmured their agreement… The meeting went on for some time before Tsunade-sama said, "...we can handle the rest of the matters later, also, Tobi-kun's identity as an Uchiha is a secret, no matter what happens no one will mention about it outside this chambers...Dismissed"

I followed Tsunade-sama out of the meeting room and said, "Tsunade-sama can I talk to you in secret?" She gave me a confused look before nodding and proceed to make her way into her office and activating the privacy seals…

"...Ummm, I did not reveal this information in the meeting because of Danzo-san being present but the masked man shared something else..." She made a motion to continue, "...he said that the Uchiha clan was planning a coup against the Hokage and so Danzo gave a choice to Itachi, either perish together with the Uchiha or to kill the clan and as compensation, he would let Sasuke live..."

She stared at me for a second before she thumped her hand on the table and it broke it in two, the ANBU's outside the room rushed and I found myself surrounded by swords before Tsunade-sama said, "Get me Nara Shikaku and for Kami-sama's sake, someone find Jiraya..."

"Wait for the others to arrive Tobi..." she started massaging her forehead… "This job is gonna be the death of me, It's all your fault you brat!"

'... is she talking to me???'

Shikaku-san had an annoyed expression on his face when he entered the office but upon seeing the table broken in two and a Jiraya shaped impression on the wall opposite to her desk, he smartly cooled down and stood beside me…

"What are you up to now you troublesome brat..."

'...why am I getting hate here...'

"Good you are here..." Tsunade-sama redid the privacy seals as I repeated what the masked man told me…

Shikaku-san just held onto his head and leaned against the wall while Jiraya-sama for the first time had a serious look on his face…

"What do we do! Jiraya? Shikaku?" Tsunade-sama looked at her wits ends after the day and was leaning back in her chair…

"We can go through the old ANBU reports if the Uchiha clan were showing signs of distrust… it could be false but I'll check the files..." Shikaku-san was the first to give a solution as he stood up… Jiraya-sama nodded and said, "I'll try to set up a meeting with Itachi it seems, it should be the easiest way to get answers..."

Tsunade-sama then looked at me before shaking her head and saying, "You are not allowed to cause trouble for another month or so...Dismissed!"
