After a bit of time, Arialle started to wake up. Titus was still sawing logs sadly. Orion was just resting, and Onyx had his head on my lap.

"You awake Arialle?" I asked.

"Kind of. . . How long was I out?" She asked.

"For just about an hour. I'll be waking up sleepy head over there in a few moments." I told her.

"Let him sleep a little longer, I want to make sure you are alright without having extra ears." She commented.

"Alright. . ." I said softly.

I motioned for her to follow me. We ended up walking to the other side of the room we were in.

"So, what do you want to know?" I asked her.

"Well, what happened exactly?" She asked me.

"That is the thing, I'm not sure. Like it was weird, I closed my eyes, and I started drifting off to sleep. When I opened my eyes, I could see Devin, and his father shopping at some store. No idea of what store it was though. While they were there, three robbers came in shooting the place up. Luckily Devin and his father were too far away at that point.

Devin's dad ran in to stop them, and he ended up knocking out two of the robbers. He was going after the third when he got shot in the leg, which made him fall down. Devin saw all of this, and he was scared stiff. He wasn't moving at all. He didn't move until he saw his dad about to get shot in the head.

That is when he kick started himself, and started running towards the guy. He ran right into him, and they tumbled around for a little bit until there was a bang. It was the robber's gun going off.

After that the cops showed up, and Devin turned over with blood coming out of his stomach. I tried going over to him, but I couldn't move at all. I literally had to watch him die. It was the worst feeling ever." I ended up telling her everything. I then realized I was crying, I couldn't even tell I was until Arialle wiped my face. She had tears on her cheeks also, but she wasn't worried about hers.

"I'm sorry Arthrall, that must have been really hard to watch. Do you know why it came up at all?" She then asked me.

"No, and the System doesn't either. We are both very confused about it." I told her.

"Hmm. . . Do you know what to do about it right now?" She then asked me.

"Sadly I don't. . ." I commented.

"Then I know what you've got to do." She told me.

"What?" I looked at her like a child wanting candy.

"Haha. . . All you've gotta do is, take a deep breath, and put in the back of your mind for now. Until you figure out what to do about it, you won't get anywhere with it. So, like I said, put it into the back of your mind for now. Worry about what is here right in front of you now. Alright?" She asked.

"Haha. . . Thanks. . . I needed that." I told her.

"You're welcome." She mentioned it to me.

"I guess we should wake the two passed out snorers. . . Hahaha!" I laughed.

"Hahaha. . ." She giggled.

[You know she is right don't you?]

{Yeah I do, just it is hard to forget about something like that. . .}

[I know it is, but just do what she told you. Just put it in the back of your mind for now. You and I will figure it out later.]

{Alright, thanks.}

"Wake up you two, we are about to head to the next floor." I told them.

"Ugh. . ." Titus mumbled.

". . ." I just looked at him.

I walked over to him, and stood right next to him. I took my foot, and kicked him straight in the ass.

"OWW!!! Fuck! Why did you do that? I was sleeping!" Titus yelled.

I glared at him at this point.

". . ." Titus looked at me, then looked around him, and the look he showed was of fear.

"Fuck. . ." Was all he said.

"Indeed, fuck. . ." I commented.

{Wake up Orion.} I told him.

{{After that scream, anyone would be awake. . .}} He commented to me.

He turned to glare right at Titus. When Titus saw him glaring at him, he kowtowed right there, and apologized to him.

"I'm sorry Orion!" He quickly stated.

{{Hmph. . .}} Was all he said.

"Yeah, he isn't very happy with you right now Titus." I told him while shaking my head.

Arialle was just trying not to laugh in the background.

"Alright, get up. I know the way out of here, or at least I think I do anyway." I mentioned.

I walked over towards the wall where the slight indent was. Once they were near me, I pressed the hole in the wall. We ended up hearing a clicking sound, then a giant portion of the wall started going up towards the ceiling. After it passed our faces, all we saw was stairs going down in a circle formation.

"Huh. . . The last area had just a ladder, but this section has actual stairs? What the hell is going on here." I said.

"I don't know, I also think this is really weird." Arialle mentioned.

"Wait. . . I think I know what is happening, or at least about these stairs. Don't you guys remember when I told you about the miners opening up a tunnel to an underground town?" Titus then asked us.

"Oh yeah! You did mention something about that to us." Arialle then commented.

{Did he really? I don't remember. . .}

[Yes he did. It was back when y'all first met him.]

{Oh ok. . .}

"Well that explains these stairs then. Maybe they are the ones that created them?" I mentioned.

"Possibly, we won't know until we get out of here. So let's just walk down them for now." Titus commented.

"Alright, Orion can you lead the way please." I told him.

{{Yeah I can.}} He answered.

So after Orion went ahead of us, we all started following him down the stairs.

We were walking for a good ten minutes before we reached the end of these stairs. When we came to the end of them, we saw a tunnel. Well technically it looked like a lot of tunnels. It was honestly weird, the tunnels didn't even match. Some were going up, some down, diagonal, some sideways, and then the main one going straight towards what looked like a doorway. The doorway was about 150ft away from us.

"Besides the tunnels, there is also a doorway about 150ft in front of us." I told them.

"That must be the entrance to the underground town they mentioned to me." Titus commented.

"My question is, what made all of these tunnels?" Arialle asked.

"I honestly have no idea. Let me look at the map real quick to see if they are on it." I mentioned.

I took the map out of my inventory, luckily Titus was too occupied to pay attention to me. When I looked at the map, all I saw for level three, was an area that only goes about 30ft from the staircase.

"Um. . . These tunnels were made after the map was made. I don't think the miners were here for this part of it." I told them.

"Great. . ." Titus commented.

Arialle didn't even say anything.

{{Arthrall, something is coming this way from the right tunnel.}} Orion warned me.

"Guys, something is coming towards us right now." I told them.

"What?" Titus and Arialle commented towards me.

We waited for about two minutes before we saw something crawl out the tunnel.

Active Skill -- Ground Cutter -- They go into a ball shape with their legs sticking out. The legs are as sharp as knives. Once they are in a ball, they start rotating until they shoot off in a forward direction. This ability does 100 base damage.

Passive Skill -- Earth Element -- Due to the Roche being underground, they have gained the Earth Element. Which in turns hardens their carapace.]

"Fuck. . . Be careful! Once it goes into a ball shape, move out of the way quickly!" I told them hastedly.

I pulled out my sword, while Orion and Onyx went straight at him. Onyx used his intimidation on it, while Orion tried scratching it. I ran forwards with Arialle and Titus, to attack its flank. We started hitting it, but we noticed it is taking more hits from us due to its carapace being harder. We started getting stabbed in the legs with its sharp knife-like legs. I ended up taking some damage. I also noticed that Arialle and Titus ended up taking some damage. After the Roche realized it can't beat us normally, it decided to go into a ball shape.

"Move!!" I yelled.

It went into a ball shape, and started rotating pretty quickly. After rotating for a few seconds, it shot off towards Titus. He was barely able to jump out of the way from it. It kept going until it hit the wall next to the stairs. While it was heading towards the stairs, I took three health potions out of my inventory.

"Here, take this quickly!" I told them as I tossed them each a health potion.

We drank the health potion, and by the time we finished it. The Roche was rotating again, but this time it decided to head straight towards me. I saw it coming right at me, so I decided to jump to the right of it. I heard a roar from behind me, so I figured that was Onyx's intimidation again. When I turned around I saw Orion use his Wind Blades on it. He ended up shooting five of them again. When the last one hit the Roche, it ended up falling forwards. It tried getting up, but it fell flat on the ground. It didn't move after that.

"Holy fuck. . . That thing just didn't want to die. It was like I was barely doing any damage to it at all." I mentioned.

"Indeed, I felt like I was doing about half damage to it." Arialle said.

"Same here." Titus commented.

"Orion, come here bud. Come drink this Mana Potion. Same with you Onyx." I told them.

They came slowly walking over towards me. I took the cap off of one of the Mana Potions, and gave it to Orion. Then I did the same thing for Onyx.

{{Yuck. . .}} Onyx commented unwillingly.

{{I have to agree with Onyx on this one, they don't taste the greatest. . .}} Orion mentioned.

{That bad?} I asked.

{{YES!}} They both yelled in my head.

"Ow. . . That hurt you two. . ." I commented while putting one of my hands to the side of my head.

"They just yell?" Asked Arialle.

"Yeah they did. . ." I said begrudgingly.

"So, are we to assume that each of these weird tunnels have at least one of these guys in them?" Titus then asked.

"I'm gonna probably say yes to that Titus." I told him.

"Damn it. . . We have quite a few of them to kill then. . ." He commented.

"True, but we should be able to not take as much damage this time. They seem to only use their main ability when they can't do much to us." Arialle mentioned.

"I have to agree with you somewhat. We won't know for sure until we fight more of them, but we can at least take less damage next time." I said.

"Alright, how do we do that then?" Titus asked.

"Well, we could always stay a little further away from their legs this time." She mentioned.

"You are onto something Arialle." I told her.

"Well, the only way to find out if we can do it or not. Let's go find us another one to fight." Titus then said.

"Orion and Onyx, you two good?" I asked them.

{{Yes, I'm good!}} Onyx said happily.

{{I'm also ok.}} Orion commented.

"Alright, let's go then!" I said with a smirk on my face.
