After I looked at my stats, I walked further down the hall behind Phillip. Phillip then turned towards the door, and he opened the door to let us through it first. Once inside, I took a look around, and it wasn't exactly like the offices that I'm used to. There were animal heads on the walls, some old weapons in glass boxes, and some other stuff also.

"Why don't you guys take a seat on the couch behind you. I've got some stuff for you Arthrall." Phillip told us.

"Uh. . . Sure!" I said while turning around to sit on the couch.

"So why did we come all the way back here?" I asked.

"Well normally for a creature like the King of the Slimes, we usually have at least 4 or 5 people go after it, but you defeated it with just you two. So in order to make this right, I'm going to be giving you gold, and possibly either potions or gear. Your choice." Phillip told me, while sorting through the desk on the other side of the room.

He then walked towards me, and told me to cup my hands together in front of him. I did what he told me, then he poured coins into my hands.

"There is 250 Silver Coins there for you. Normally, I would split it between the group, but seeing as how you literally did everything while Arialle and I watched. I figured it would just be better to hand it all to you." He said while smiling at me.

"Th. . . Thank you!" I told him.

"By any chance do you have a bag I could put these coins into?" I then asked him.

"I sure do, I was actually wondering if you had anything to put the coins into." He told me while walking back to his desk.

It didn't take him long to walk back, and hand me a bag. I then took the coins, and put them inside the bag, then shut it.

"Again, thank you!" I told him a second time.

"No, it should be me thanking you! Hahaha. . ." He laughed after he said that.

"Now, give me a few moments, and I'll have someone bring you some items to choose from." He told us while walking out the door.

"I still can't believe you killed the slime by yourself. Well technically you and Orion did."Arialle said while smiling.

"Yeah, it was actually a little bit harder than I thought it was going to be. Orion almost ran out of health and mana. While I on the other hand had a little bit more health than him, and I had over half my mana left." I told her.

"Well, still. You did an amazing job!" She said to me.

"Well, thank you!" I told her with a smile on my face.

Not too long after that, Phillip came back in.

"It will just be a moment, they are bringing the items in a moment." He said.

"Alright!" I said.

"So what do you plan on doing after this?" He asked.

"Um. . . Probably take a small break honestly. I mean I don't mind doing quests, but I also want to sit around for a day too. Maybe I could do something in town." I said.

"Hmm. . . Well do you have a profession you are wanting to try?" He then asked me.

"Well I'm not sure. Since I'm a ranger, I figured I should go into something like leatherworking and skinning." I mentioned to him.

"Well I do believe we have a leatherworker here in town. I can show you them tomorrow!" Said Arialle.

"Alright! Thanks Arialle!" I told her with a big smile on my face.

At this time, there was a knock on the door.

"That must be them with the items I told you about." Phillip said, then went to the door and opened it.

Two people walked in carrying 2 boxes. One was larger than the other. They than set them on the floor, and I got to see what was inside of the boxes. One had potions, while the other had weapons and armor.

"You can pick one from each box. It is the other half of the reward I was talking about. They are also labeled already with their stats." He then told me.

"Alright, I'll take a look at them then!" I said excitedly.

I walked up to the potion one, and took a look at it. There were 4 potions total inside the box.

[Greater Healing Potion]

[Heals you for 50 Health Points when you drink, and then it also heals you 10 Health Points per 15 seconds for 2 minutes.]

"I will take the Resistance Potion." I told him, then I grabbed the potion.

Then I looked at the other box, there was also 4 items inside of it.

"Thank you again for this Phillip! Now I do have a question, do you know anyone that can inspect this ring I got from the King of the Slimes?" I asked him.

"Actually, yes I do. He is one of the ones that brought in the boxes." Phillip said.

"Yes, that would be me. My name is Oscaldon. Now let me see that ring of yours." Oscaldon said.

"Alright, here it is." I told him while handing him the ring from earlier.

He took the ring, and started looking at it. He extended his right hand over the ring, and said a few words that I couldn't understand. His eyes then opened up a little bit. Like he was surprised by the ring.

"Hmm. . . This ring is actually very interesting. It is called the Ring of Battle. It is a Level 5 ring that gives you 10 Strength and Agility." He told me while handing the ring back over to me.

I then looked at the ring myself.
