I then noticed it had only been about 2 or 3 seconds since I started all of this.

I looked at the King of the Slimes to figure out what its stats are.

"Um. . . Are you sure about us having issues defeating this slime?" I asked quietly.

"Yeah. . . Why?" Phillip asked me while whispering.

"Just watch." I said excitedly.

I step out from our hiding spot, and moved to about 30 feet in front of the King of the Slimes. I notched one of my Iron Arrows from my quiver, and took aim.

"Orion, attack the King of the Slimes!" I yelled.

Once Orion charged towards the King of the Slimes, it jumped right at Orion. Orion dodged it the moment it almost hit him. Then he gathered mana up into his wings and let loose 4 Wind Blades.

[-25 Damage!]

After he stuck the King of the Slimes, I let loose my arrow into it.

[-60 Critical Damage!]

"Wow. . . This guy isn't that strong. . ."

The King of the Slimes was bubbling like it was angry. It let loose an attack that surprised both Orion and I. It then exploded, and a giant ball of mist came at Orion and I. It hit Orion first.

Then the mist came at me. It actually was heated mist, which hurt like hell!

[-80 Damage!]

"Fuck that hurt! Orion come at me, I'm going to heal you!" I yelled at him.

I looked at my Inventory, and pulled out 2 health potions. I drank one of them, and then once Orion was next to me, I had him open his mouth that way I could pour the Health Potion into it.

[+30 Health Points!]

I looked back at the King of the Slimes to figure out how much health it has left.

"Fuck it!" I said in anger.

I notched 4 Iron Arrows into my shortbow, then I pulled them back on the string.

"You are so dead!" I yelled at the King of slimes while it was jumping towards me.

I let loose the 4 arrows, and they went straight into the King of the Slimes so quick that no one was able to see them.

[-25 Damage!]

[-16 Damage!]

[-24 Damage!]

[-60 Critical Damage!]

[Overkill!]

After my arrows struck the King of the Slimes, it jumped up once, and then it exploded completely. The water that it was made out of sprayed Orion and I. It drenched us, but we didn't take any damage from it, luckily. Then Orion layed down cause he was suddenly very tired, and then I collapsed onto the ground from exhaustion.

Arialle and Phillip came running out to check on us.

"Holy shit! You defeated it without any help from us!" Yelled Phillip.

"I told you I had it. Although that ability it used actually really hurt. It almost killed Orion and I." I mentioned to them while breathing hard.

"Haha. . . I owe you a big dinner huh? Alright, I'll see what I can do." I looked at Orion laughing a little bit.

"You guys did splendidly." Said Arialle.

"Thank you. We tried!" I said while smiling at her.

She then walked to where the King of the Slimes died, and she bent down to pick something up off the ground. She then walked over to me, and took my hand to place something into it.

"You killed it, so it is your spoils." She said while smiling.

"Thanks!" I said to her while looking at the object in my hand.

It was a ring. I turned it over in my hand, and there wasn't anything special about it. I then tried inspecting it.

[Ring]

[???]

"Huh. . . I can't view anything on it." I said to her.

"You probably have to have it inspected. There is a Gear Inspector in town we could go to after we get back to town." She mentioned to me.

"Well I don't see the point in staying here. Let's head back to town, and I'll get the reward set up for you!" Phillip said.

"Alright! Let's do it!"

We got to town about 2 hours later, and we headed straight for the Adventurer's Guild.

"Hey Faylin, did you get the quest set up?" Asked Phillip.

"Yeah I did, I literally just got done doing it actually." Fayling said to him while smiling.

"Awesome, the King of the Slime is dead." He mentioned to her.

"WHAT!! Already??" She exclaimed.

"Yeah. . . Arthrall took it down pretty darn quickly actually. It was like he was a higher level then it, but yet he was only Level 6." Phillip said while smiling.

"Well. . . Congrats Arthrall on killing the King of the Slimes. Hand over your ring to me, and I'll get you your rewards!" She said to me while holding her hand out.

"Oh alright!" I exclaimed, and then I handed her my ring.

It took her a little bit longer to get the quest put into my ring, and then to take the ring a watch the recap of what I did. Then she finished the quest, and I got my rewards.

"Wow you really did kill it quickly!" She exclaimed with a giant smile on her face.

"Yeah I guess I did. By the way, what were the rewards for killing it?" I asked.

"Actually I will tell him that in my office." Phillip said.

"Oh alright! Well. . . Congrats again Arthrall!" Faylin said to me.

"Thanks again Faylin!" I yelled to her while walking behind Phillip.

{I wonder what the rewards are. . .}
