19 Chapter 19: The King of the Slimes!

"Have they returned yet?" Asked Phillip.
"No they haven't." Said Faylin.
"Alright. . . It looks like I'm going to go look for them. Make sure no one else grabs a slime quest. That King of Slimes is currently moving around the level 4 area, and moving towards the level 3 area." He said to her.
"Will do!" She said.
As Phillip was walking towards the entrance to the building, Arialle and Arthrall came through the door.
"Hey Phillip!" I said.
"Oh my god. . . About time you guys showed up, what took you so long to finish the quest?" Asked Phillip with sweat slightly running down his face.
"Uh. . . We had two quests to kill 25 slimes each. Why? Is everything alright?" Arialle asked him.
"Oh. . . Wait you did two of those quests, and gotten them done in less than 3 days?" He asked.
"Yeah. . . Why??" I asked.
"Well the King of the Slimes is moving towards the level 3 area. . ." Phillip mentioned to us.
"Oh. . . Wait. . . What is the King of the Slimes??" I asked.
"It is a slime that is about as big as a bear." Phillip told me.
"What is its level?" I asked him.
"Last we heard, it was around level 7 I do believe." He said while thinking.
"Oh, I should be able to take care of him, or at least be close to it by myself." I mention to him.
"Wait. . . What?? What level are you?" He asked me.
"Umm. . . Give me a sec and I'll tell you." I said to him.

"Orion and I are level 6, which could end up killing the King of the Slimes as long as we don't over do it." I mentioned.
"Hmm. . . Level 6 isn't too bad, I guess you two could of killed it, and especially since you had Arialle there with you." He said while looking at us.
"Well let me go turn in these quests real quick, and then I'll get some stuff to kill that King of Slimes.
"Hey Faylin, I'm here to turn in our quests!" I said to Faylin while waving at her.
"Hey Arthrall! Awesome, go ahead and hand over your ring, and the quests." She told me.
"Yes ma'am!" I said to her while smiling.
I gave her the ring plus the quests, and she turned on the video from the last 3 days. She counted out the amount of slimes we defeated.
"Oh, I see why it had taken you guys so long." She mentioned to me.
"Yeah, Orion and I were the only ones fighting. Arialle was there for backup just encase we needed it." I told her.
"I see, I see. Well you have completed both quests. So here are your rewards." She said to me while handing back the ring, and the money from the quests.

"Nice! Thank you! Now Phillip, do you think we can go after the King of the Slimes? I asked him.
"Hmm. . . Maybe. . . Arialle, what do you think?" He asked her.
"Well. . . I don't see why we can't try, but he may or may not be ready." She said to him.
"Hmm. . . Let me think about it for a little bit. For now go get yourself some food, and some potions that way you can be ready." He told us.
"Well I've already got potions, I guess I just need some food then. We will be at The Drunken Clam if you decided to let us go kill it!" I yelled to him while walking out of the building.
"So we are heading to tavern to get something to eat then?" Arialle asked me.
"Yeah, no point in trying to find some stuff to buy, I've only got 40 silver right now. I'm completely broke." I told her.
"Well I might be able to help with the sleeping part, but let me think about it for a little bit alright?" She told me.
"Uhh. . . Sure??" I said quizzingly.
So we walked towards the tavern, and went inside to be greeted by the waitress. We sat down at a table, and then we ordered our food for all three of us. It didn't take too long for the food to come out to us. Arialle and I ordered the special, while I ordered 10 fish for Orion. It cost me 10 silver total to get our food. Which put me down to 30 silver, which isn't too bad, but the only problem is I barely have enough for the next 3 days to stay here. It took us about a half hour to eat all of our food this time. Luckily we took our time to eat our food this time. Once we were done with our food, we talked for a while until Phillip walked into the tavern.
"Hey guys!" Phillip said.
"Hello there, would you like to have anything to eat?" The waitress said.
"Uh sure, how much is it, and what is it?" He asked.
"Get the special, it is honestly really good, and it only cost 5 silver for a giant plate of food." I mentioned to him.
"Well alright then, I'll take the special. Here is 5 silver for it!" He told her while pulling out 5 silver to pay her.
"Thank you, it will be out shortly!" She said to him, then walked away to the bar.
"So are we able to go after the slime?" I asked him.
"Yes you are, but I will be going with you. Same with Arialle, she will also be going with us." He mentioned to me.
"Wait. . . You are coming with us?" I asked.
"Yes. I want to make sure that you do alright, and I also want to make sure it doesn't kill the 3 of you." He told us.
"We should be fine though, but I do appreciate you coming with us. What is your class by the way?" I asked him.
"I'm an Elite Fighter, so basically you except I use 2 weapons instead of a bow." He told me.
"Oh ok. . . Wow, there are a lot of different classes isn't there." I said.
"Yes there are. Oh my food is here! I'm hungrier than I thought I was." He said after his stomach growled once he smelled the food that was brought out to him.
"The food here is really good!" I said to him.
"Well let me taste it before you spoil it for me" He said while smiling at me.
"Alright, alright!" I said to him with my hands up in defeat.
So all three of us talked for about an hour before he finished his meal. After he finished his meal, we went outside to take in the sunshine for a little bit. When we were done doing that, Phillip told us to meet him at the front gates, because he had to go get his stuff before we left. It was around midday before we left the front gate, and we had about 4 hours left of daylight. We walked towards the direction that Phillip told us the King of Slimes was crawling to. Orion and I killed a couple of slimes on the way that way we could try to level up one more time before we reached it. We were walking for about an hour and a half, when we spotted something in the distance. It was a lot bigger than a normal slime. When we could finally see it, Arialle and I were shocked at how big it actually was. From my perspective, it was the size of a van from Earth. I don't know about her though. When we were waiting for the The King of the Slimes to get closer, I ended up getting a notification from The System.
