50 Curse

We could only use 50% of our mana and we couldn't buff ourselves, that was the rule Rind had given us. It would be very hard, but if we combine all of our attacks with Osiric's - as he is the only one who had the control over the flow to do so - we could do it.

After all, attacks don't add, they multiplied. And I already knew just how powerful multipliers were, I had seen my buffed up mana - which was over 180k, and I only had like 5k magic stat.

"Well, good luck." I said good luck to the person that had the worst luck.

Osiric nodded, and then I fired him off at speeds that were even invisible to me. But as soon as I fired him, I started to use my mana.

It was the same for Emma. What we were doing was boosting Osiric's attack, by enchanting with different elements. Thankfully, Osiric didn't have to control all the elements by himself, since we also needed to manipulate it.

"Well, here it goes... 'White Snow of Death'" I then took up my stance, it was a little strange to do it when I was standing upon a spear that was flying up.

But, it wasn't that hard for me. I used all the things I could, with ice magic I froze the soles of my shoe to the spear and with pure magic, I changed the laws of the word so that I would stick to the spear.

Tyler had said that this law was called gravity, and that it attracted everything object having mass. It was very intriguing topic. I really loved listening to it.

'The stance is done.' I then unsheathed my katana, from the sheathe I had gotten from Dave. I also learned that while unsheathing this sword, I could put more mana into it than normal.

So, while the world was freezing, I unsheathed my katana and did a single strike. The strike was very precise and had a lot of energy in it.

And with the help of Tyler and Emma, I could use fire, water, wind, earth, and holy element. Thankfully, my precision with magic made it very easy for me to control it, but, sadly, due to my curse it was very damaging on my body.

But I needed to do it, Tyler couldn't destroy the entire asteroid with a single attack that costed 50% of his total, unboosted, mana. He also couldn't handle more magic, since his precision was good, but not amazing.

So I was the only one who could do this, and I knew that Rind is going to give out even harder challenges later on, for example: I had to swing my sword a total of 10,000 times without stopping, and if I did stop the number would reset.

"Gyaah!" an onslaught of pain started coursing through my body. My attack wasn't something my body could handle - even without the curses, which made it even worse.

Even if Emma had buffed me, I body wouldn't be able to handle this much mana that wasn't pure. The curses made it even harder.

And just like that, my body started to "burn" and "die". My nerves were being destroyed, though I could still feel the pain, my muscles were all burning, my body was starting to turn to ash.

'Well, its going to be you or me, let's see who wins!' I pumped myself up, and just like that, I gave it my all and released even more energy, sending out a blindingly white light all around me, and slashed at the asteroid with even more force.

A massive flash of light was released from the spot Osiric and the asteroid clashed, the flash was bright enough to blind us for 10 seconds. But even though we were blinded, our other senses could easily make us be aware of our surroundings.

After the blinding flash of light, a massive wave of heat was released, the heat wave was soo hot that it actually burned me a little. Even though I had a barrier surrounding, though Emma was still fine due to her high resistance stat.

Then a thundering boom echoed, the boom threatened to rupture our eardrums, sadly, it was successful in destroying our eardrums. It really hurt, and my ears were starting to bleed.

Emma's holy aura then started to heal my and her wounds at once, though, the same couldn't be said for Osiric, as he was way out of the range of our aura - the aura dome was barely 50m in radius.

"Huh?" I then felt myself getting sucked out of existence, it was just like the last time, when Rind had thrown his swords at us and when the swords had hit me.

And just like last time a wave of pain came, though, this time's was way more "tamer" than the last one. Instead of me just being completely vaporized, this time I was burned.

Though the burns weren't that bad, so I could handle it pretty well, since at worst it was only a third degree burn. I knew normal people who could handle this much pain - though they were all "special".

And in an instant I was transported to Osiric's room, though I was still blinded a little. Thankfully, my vision was starting to return to me - though it was still very blurry.

"Tyler, are you ok?" I then sensed Emma at my side, "Well, except the burn wounds and the temporary blindness, I am fine, how about you?"

"It's the same for me as well, I think when Osiric had split the asteroid in half, the asteroid exploded in his face, and since the asteroid was "only" 1km in the air, we were in its blast radius." Emma told me the reason for our wounds.

"Yeah, that's probably what happened." I answered as I vision returned to me; I had felt Osiric split the asteroid.

"Gyaaah!" I then heard a scream of agony, it was Osiric's voice.

Since, it was only Osiric who went to split the asteroid, I was a little worried about him. But when I looked at him, my jaws dropped.

"What!?" I said as I looked at his body.

Currently he was lying on the ground, his arms were all and legs were all black and charred, and in some places I could see his muscles and bones.

His clothes were also heavily burned, and there wasn't anything above his waist.

And on his torso, there were portions where his body didn't have skin, and his muscles were visible. Hell, there were even some parts where some of his bones were visible.

His face was even worse, his eyeballs had evoparted, so his eyes were closed - I just knew that. There was some serious charr in his face and there some portion where we could clearly see his bones. His hair was also burned a little.

That was very surprising, since everything in a 100m radius should've been absolute zero. This just showed just how powerful that asteroid was.

Thankfully, the pure mana was starting to heal Osiric - he was able to heal any normal injuries in seconds and could heal entire organs back in some minute.

"Your wounds aren't healing..." I stood speechless as I saw his body's futile effort on healing, it was barely able to heal even a single scratch.

While I stunned and left speechless, Emma acted before me and quickly started healing him.

After that, Osiric's injuries started to heal, he then started to regrow his muscles back, he also started to get color in his skin.

"Welp, that sucks. I really don't want to do this again, even though I was able to split the asteroid - luckily - manipulating that much mana burned my eyes and turned my body to ash." Osiric said as he stood up.

He then tried to clench his fists, "What...." I said as I saw how much effort he gave but couldn't make fist. "Soo, it seems like not only am I blind for a week, it seems to be like most of my nerves are also blow up. Well, Rind should easily be able to heal this injuries."

He then turned towards me and gave me a thumbs up, "Now that 2 done, now only 49 left to do!"
