37 Chapter 37: Class ups!

"Thank you." Dave started to put all his stuff back into his shop.

It was currently 9 o'clock, so the sun was down. Also this world didn't have seasons, I mean it did but the only difference between winter and summer is that the sun goes down quicker.

We ran at about 80 km/h, which was pretty easy to handle - especially since we are all above level 20.

The monsters on the way, and us being lazy, made the trip a little longer.

But, it was still faster than when we had first gone to Al Furnax.

We didn't get tired, the horse as well - though in its case Emma had to heal the horse every 1 hour or so.

Though, we still stretched a little - that's due to habit, Emma wasn't able to heal our stamina – or our minds - for the first four days; and with the amount of quests we were completing in those time our muscles cramped, and our mental exhuastion was insanely high.

Running for that long without needing Emma's help, and keep up with Osiric; this was the result we had gotten for our efforts – though we were still a little lazy, but what do you expect we worked our ass for the first week.

"See you later, Dave." I waved my hand at him, and then started walking to the adventurer's guild.

There was an adventurer's guild at Al Furnax, but, our cards were registered to this guild; so we couldn't complete. After all, our cards were still registered to the guild and had a quest pending in it.

The guild's information system was pretty high tech, even true lord, nay, even the magic lord would have troulbe getting past their system. The guild did have a relationship with the country, but that didn't mean that the country could get all the information the guild has.

The guild each had a headquater in a city that releases an information mana wave, or the IMW. The IMW the guild releases is the reason the cards have the quest tab. Each IMW released by the guild headquater were unique, so the quests we had accepted in the previous guild won't be accepted in a new guild hall.

The only way to complete a quest was to hand it over to a receptionist at the guild your card was registered in. So you may ask how did adventurers move cities then, well registering in a new guild was pretty easy; it only took a second. But registering when you had a quest active would wipe that quest out – since that quest doesn't exist; meaning you will get penalties.

If the quest gets wiped out then shouldn't the card not display that you got penalties, well the IMW all shared the basic information about the adventurers – the guild puts its quest's confinatiallity above its adventurers since knowing about adventurers was common knowledge – though they still hid confidtial information about the adventurer in their registered guild.

The guilds also share information in the most complex way imaginable, they put their information – they also enrypt them with the help of their god, The God of Adventures, who is also a god class entity; there was no way anyone could, except the ones who are heavan class, can decrypt the information – in an infinite dimensonal space.

They used the same procedure for a branch that would be in the middle of nowhere.

They are soo confident in their information protection that we are even allowed to disclose how their "super secret" technique works. I mean I would do the same, having a deity who completely transcends infinite dimensions – the god is at the top of the god class after all - making sure your information's safe will probably give me the balls to say how my technique works.

...

"I am really excited!" even Osiric, who didn't get excited often got excited.

So you could probably imagine how excited we were getting, after all this was our first class up after all.

Like we had planned we all leveled up to level 30, so we could class up if we wanted to. We still hadn't ranked up; class up was more exciting than ranking up, so we had decided to class up first. The guild lady showed us this room, which was instanced for every person – since we were a party we all were in the same room – so there was no waiting.

The room was decorated and looked very fancy, probably due to the god. But the only thing we had our focus on was the class change crystal – it was the same as the one at the capital.

The class change crystal allowed up to class up after using it, but before you used it you needed to first meet the minimum requirement. The minimum reqirement for the second class was having 250 in all stats, for the third it would be 1,000, the fourth would be 10,000, and the fifth would be 100,000.

We had already reached the requirement way earlier but the reason we hadn't classed up was because Osiric had explained that classing up too early would greatly hinder our growth, it will permanently lower our max level – as classing up at level 24, for example, will make your next class up's level cap to be 44 – and we will lose out on a lot of stats, especially when we get +20 stat points and +6 natural stat growth.

If we somehow did that, it will only be fine for the first three classes. The fourth class will be impossible to reach, and the fifth and the last one will just be a pipe dream for us.

"Yeah, this is going to be our first class up, after all!" I replied, clearly excited.

We had gotten a class, but Osiric had read that the classing up would be very different that just getting a class. The power increase we will get from our classes would also increase, so the feeling would get stronger with each class up.

Then the most important part, and why we had decided to class up first before ranking up.

Law skills. Currently, they were useless; but after this class up they will start to get more useful. Law skills were the only unique skills that affected a class up – unlike how most legendary skills would affect classing up.

They also will start to get stronger more faster now, and will get faster the more we class up and level the said class.

Law skills would give us rare, heck, it might even give us unique skills. And when we get our legendary skill unlocked, our class would probably get upgraded to a legendary class. Legendary skills were just that powerful, though I know for a fact that its was not the case for all legendary skills; if it was then Osiric should've gotten a legnedary job.

Also, there are some legendary jobs that don't need you to have legendary skills, the catch was that they were only give out once every decade and were tournaments. One of the most popular is the sword saint's trail, which like its name suggested, handed out the legendary job sword saint.

The trail was pretty huge, lasting about a month or so. The trail was conducted in an hyperspace made by the sword god; the trail would also be overseen by the sword lord and the god. It was also the one of the ways you can meet a god, heck, if you win the trail you will even come face-to-face with a god.

The trail was also pretty crazy, the trail's arena was a planet and by the end of it there was a 90% chance the entire planet would've have been blown apart.

"You guys know that who will go first right?" Emma said with a smug grin.

"Yes, we know." I was a little annoyed, but decided to keep it inside. Osiric was cool with it.

We had decided previously, when I mean previously I mean just outside the guild who was going to class up. Emma made us agree to a luck based pull – it was one of the features in the card's party function.

The entire thing was rigged for Emma and Osiric. Emma had a holy class, healer, and holy magic, which also happened to have a perfect affinity, so she was pretty lucky – combined with the fact that back home she pulled of a 10 gacha pull with all ten being 5 stars. Osiric, on the other hand, was pretty unlucky; it was one of this special traits.

Now that he was cursed he got even more unlucky. I was average, so you could probably guess the results.

Emma then slowly went to the crsytal and touched it.

The crystal started to shine, I would've closed my eyes if I was just summoned to the world; but after seeing Osiric's white end two times it wasn't a big deal. After about 5 seconds the crystal dimmed down and Emma said, "Yes! That was amazing!!! I'll see you guys later, I wanna try something!"

Emma then went out of the room, she was probably going to wait outside and use her magic on herself. It was probably going to be a buffing spell.

"Ok, well then it's my turn." I turned towards Osiric, whose entire face said 'go ahead, I am very happy for you.'

I could only give my usual wry smile as I touched the crystal, this was going to be one of my best moments in this world.
