24 Chapter 24: Lots and lots of mons- level ups.

"That was quick, and a little underwhelming." I said as I looked at the battlefield, there was no sign of burning, freezing, cuts, or crushing. It was due to our control over our spells and attacks that we were able to this, since we did our best making sure no energy is misused - so basically, we were ignoring the laws of physics, more specifically, the conversion of energy.

Osiric had said that more were about to come, and I sensed more monster coming. So I quickly made a blade of wind and fired it at the direction of the monsters, It leveled 50 trees - which would get healed by the planet in a minute or so.

And killed a lot of monsters - maybe about 10 or so. It didn't give me a level up but I was pretty close; the purpose of the attack wasn't to kill the monsters but to get a clear view.

The direction I had attacked wasn't the only direction the monsters were coming form, it was where the closest and the highest amount of monsters were located.

"Oh, there's about 20 monsters coming form there, though I have already killed 10 of them but they were all weak." I explained to Osiric and Emma, "Os, can you run around the area and kill the monsters, I will snipe them off."

"Ok," Osiric nodded and dashed off, he ran very "slow". Barely reaching 100 km/h. I then looked at Emma, "You know what to do." I said to her.

"Ok, here you go." She raised her hand up to my head and used magic.

"Protection, Speed, Power." She chanted the names of her spells.

I also used my mana to boost myself, I, with my new boosts, almost had 10,000 mana. I had most of my stats almost doubled, while my magic 2.9 times higher than normal. With this much power, I wanted to try something.

I know many things about the world due to Osiric. And my appraisal also helped me as well, I knew that people could fly, and I wanted to try that since it would give me a high ground and better mobility when fighting.

This made me remember a bomber back home, but instead of using small bombs, I would probably start throwing nukes after nukes once I reach F+ and above.

(A/N: If you are reading this chapter you will probably know the distinction about classes and ranks, so I am now not going to use. Instead it will be like this: High F-Rank = High F, Lord Class = Lord. Also should mention that now there will be High, Mid, and Low in every rank so there would low, mid, and high F-)

"I want to try something." I said to Emma, who was a little confused.

I just jumped, using magic I ignored friction and gravity. I even used earth magic and fire magic to create gravity that pushed up.

With it I jumped 30m in the air in an instant, I then used wind magic, fire magic, water magic, and earth magic and manipulated the laws of physics. I was able to fly, but it costed -60 mana per second, but I knew I can make it more efficient.

I then tired all combinations I could think off - using dual processing to make it even faster, using my instinct and intuition which I have developed since the time I have came to this world, my title skill otherworlder also helped a lot. I was able to reduce it to only 1 mana per second, though that was just for floating.

If I wanted to move at my max speed, meaning 4 times faster than sound, it would cost me 100 mana per second - while boosted, but it was still great.

"WHOOOOOO!!!" I raised my hands to the air amazed at myself, Osiric and Emma looked me and looked shocked.

I was flying, a feat that only E-rankers could do. Osiric then quickly went around killing monsters.

I looked down on Emma, having a smug.

Then I created 32 spears - my absolute limit, I couldn't create more unless my skill leveled up. This time I wanted to experiment, this would boost my raw power by a lot, I would be way stronger than even Osiric in pure destructive capability.

I used all of my elements, I made use of my high mana pool I also used the environmental mana I got from the atmosphere. With fire, water, wind, and earth I created my strongest attack. Though the count jumped down from 32 to only 10, but it was worth it. The attack took 10 seconds to create them and were very hard to control, they were about 5 times stronger than normal, and costed 3 times more than normal.

"I am a god!" I felt a rush of pride, I then shot one of the spears at one of the group which Osiric hadn't killed, it had 40 ogres. Due to the amount of mana and it being an aoe spell, I would only gain 1,000 exp from it, but I didn't mind since it would level me up once.

A spear made from golden-white fire, due to the combination of fire and water mana. It looked very solid, I tired my best to make it look cool and it did. It had decorations all over its body, it had a gem in the portion that connected blade and the shaft - the only thing practical in the spear. I was very satisfied that I learned how to use mana weapons.

This skill would level up all my magic, my spearmanship, mana weapon , dual processing, multi casting, and finally, my mana control - due to the combinations I was able to do with it.

This was probably the most efficient way to level up my skills. I was very happy due to it.

The spear's existence trembled the air, due to the wind mana. Then I turned the spear to the monster's location and then fired it. The spear launched at speeds incomparable to the one I had just launched before. The spear fired at speeds so fast, that even I couldn't see it properly.

Hell, even Osiric wouldn't be able to see it - that's considering his power before he got his sword. Emma was just staring at it - shocked, it felt good. I felt like I was a god of destruction firing attacks that wiped out armies.

It was very fulfilling, the attack's power was just like I had expected it to be. I immediately atomized the ogres, it also leveled all trees around a radius of 100m in an instant. The explosion released a powerful shockwave so loud that we had to cover our ears.

And the thing I was most satisfied to see was the mushroom cloud it had created. The shockwave also flung many trees to the air.

The heat released was massive, it would've burned me if I wasn't this strong. Even then the monsters didn't lost their focus on Osiric, Osiric and Emma looked a little scared; which made me feel even better.

It was also blinding, though Osiric's strongest attack was even brighter.

"Elemental Spear: Barrage" I then fired all the 9 spears all around the battlefield, forgetting the true purpose of this battle - to level up Osiric.

With that single attack, 9 massive explosions were created. The attack leveled a lot of trees, the shockwave released also made flung most of the trees in the area. The trees that flew towards Osiric were cut in half, while the trees that flew towards Emma couldn't get pass her barrier so they just slid off.

The ones that flew towards were cut in half by my white steel spear I had just taken out of my card inventory. I smiled as I saw the destruction I had caused.

This attack's power was something even Osiric won't be able to compete against, it was something that's way stronger that all of my previous magic. I have reached the peak of mid intermediate, bordering on high intermediate.

And that's what started the biggest mistake I have ever committed in my entire life.
