The Surprising One

There are various ways to commit murder, like committing a crime by stabbing, shooting or strangling someone. Personally, I believe that the best way to commit homicide is by taking advantage of the crime produced by self-defense, because it's the best way to murder someone without having to endure any legal charges. The murder weapon could be anything, from the smallest knife to a baseball bat, it doesn't really matter as long as you play the cards right, but take a gun for example and this is the beginning of our story.

Someone killed one of Rosie's family members, but they got away with it and they were trying to get to her as well. In order to escape this terrible faith maybe she should've got all her family and fled the country, but she wasn't very fond of this idea, so she tried for many weeks to come up with a plan to protect both her family and herself and after many sleepless nights she found the best way. She knew there was a chance of her going to prison, but she couldn't take it anymore. One night, she heard those footsteps on her porch and she knew precisely who it was and she knew exactly what to do.

Her plan was in motion... She got on her feet, took the gun and waited until her future victim was standing right in front of her, the person who took advantage of her, who raped her countless times and who killed her sister, just because she couldn't take it anymore, was right there.

"If you are trying to save yourself, you should've thought of a way sooner, because now it's too late, my sweet Rosalie!" he whispered smiling like the psychopath that he was.

"How could you? She was my little sister, an innocent girl, how could you?" she cried. " You are a monster, an atrocity, a damn psychopath!" she screamed, but she made a mistake by calling him in those ways, because within a blink of an eye he had his hands around her neck. She couldn't breathe or cry or scream, she was trapped and ready to die, but her little sister's eyes took over her mind and she began to fight.

Somehow, Rosie managed to escape and there she was, standing on both of her feet and pointing the gun to his face. For just a moment, he was stunted, but he immediately realized what was happening, but he didn't manage to make any footsteps towards her, because she pulled the trigger and a sound so sharp and powerful soaked the whole house, maybe the whole neighborhood and there he was still and his blood was running on her bedroom floor.

She did it... She killed him... The man she once loved so dearly...

The police arrived and she wasn't accused of anything because of her plan and also because she had the evidence of his abuse on her very body, but also in her heart...
