86 Technology

For things that had reached (MAX) after reaching lv 5 on the 'advanced' skill level could not be upgraded by any means. However, many of them had certain prerequisites which if cleared one could evolve them. Luke had been able to reach these requirements of some of them, and so he went ahead and used 5 skill points each to evolve these skills.

[Advanced Cooking Lv 5(MAX) has evolved to Basic Magical Cooking Lv 0]

[Advanced Hunting Lv 5 (MAX) has evolved to Basic Slaughter Lv 0]

[Basic Martial Arts Lv 5 has evolved to Intermediate Martial Arts Lv 0]

[Advanced Swimming Lv 5 (MAX) has evolved to Basic Underwater Lifestyle Lv 0]

[Advanced Regeneration Lv 5 (MAX) has evolved into Basic Restoration Lv 0]

[Skill points remaining: 14]

While Luke was enjoying his evolution of his skills, the ripples of the explosions were finally taking effect.

OriginalMagus, VidBro, SaintessKatrina, as well as SwordSlasher all rose by 3-4 levels in an instant, despite the reduction in exp from dying, as well as the extra 10% that went to Luke secretly, without them knowing.

Instantly, OriginalMagus and SwordSlasher were close to reaching their first pathway speciality.

Luke waited form a minute exactly before calling up these people and informing them to collect more supplies from the desk anytime for another attack. He also subtly hinted to these people that it was better to specialise in a single pathway in one's journey to power, and diversifying to other pathways will only weaken your power, and would only be useful for gimmicks.

Being professional gamers, all except VidBro instantly understood, who also understood a few second of contemplating later. Although he was not a professional gamer, he loved recording professional gamers, and was a fan of gaming. In many cases, such fans were even better at gaming than those who were the idols of their fanaticism.

While this was going on, the council of 12 had a secret meeting through video conference, a level of technology they did not wish to give even to Luke at the moment.

"That little kid sure did it this time" One of the figures sighed.

"But it does not matter. In fact, this is better. This explosive, although primitive, is still not part of our hidden technologies, so it will not affect our plans. Plus, we get the advantage of gaining the initiative."

In wars of such scale and magnitude, all the strategists knew that initiative, momentum as well as moral of the soldiers would be the final deciding factor, other than peak level masters of course.

"Also, we need to remember that the little kid is willingly handing the explosive technology to us. It seems like he knows his standing and is not going crazy over the freedom we have given him."

"It seems he is offering the technology not only as an apology, but also as a sign of obedience."

"Like a peace treaty?"

"Hmph. That little kid sure is great at flattery even without knowing who we are."

"Anyway, a speeding up of the war will inevitably help us. Dragging this war on for too long will deplete our resources very quickly, especially since most of the south eastern region is infertile land."

While the council of 12 was preparing to speed up the war, the decision makers in The Holy kingdom were having thoughts of their own.

"Hmph. The Leon kingdom's façade of strength broke this easily? They already began revealing their hidden technologies this early in the war?"

"But it did give them advantages in terms of momentum. If our side does not release some hidden technologies to counter these explosions, our allied army will take a huge hit in terms of their morale."

"I propose we utilise X-213" Suddenly, one of the few Counts, which was the lowest level of nobility that was allowed in this meeting spoke up.

"I second this"

"Me too."

Countless opinion seconded this and opposed it, but in the end, this proposal was passed in the House of High Nobility of the Holy Kingdom of Islesat.

On the other hand, the people in the Roland Theocracy were Laughing maniacally.

"Kekeke, the Leonians are this weak willed. If we knew they were like this, we would have waged war a long time ago, and not waited for so long."

"Use War #9134." The pope spoke softly, but all the cardinals present understood this and nodded as they stood up and ran out of the conference room with red faces of excitement.

After countless years of researching and experimenting in hiding, Roland was finally going to unleash these research projects in actual combat.

Like war machines, all the three major kingdoms began to churn out countless technologies within the span of a single month, Leon had used up nearly 3 of its own technologies while Roland and Islesat each used up 2 of their own technologies.

Naturally, all of these were mainly offensive weapons. To the general public, although the existence of the bombs made by Luke were not exposed yet, other technologies such as far better guns than the hunting rifles that were available in the market up till now, which were more efficient to use, easier to move, more accurate to hit, and delt more damage. Other technologies included the emergence of telecommunications, mines, remote explosives which closely resembled Luke's dynamite sticks, but were made of slightly differing components, and many other war and legislative resources like binoculars.

Naturally, with these came the revelation of the technologies of materials used to make them including the most important ones like; plastic, electronic automated machinery that could rival those specialised machines back on earth that were used by large companies to produce products like coke[1], and many other technologies.

Within just one month, the technology used by the normal citizens boosted by many folds, reaching a level that would take the normal society to reach at least 100 years. Naturally, if society were to actually spend those 100 year, the technology would have been more complete, since currently, the decision makers were only revealing parts of industries. For example, for plastic, people needed to first understand chemistry and how that works, and for that, on needs to understands things on the atomic level.

Such things were not revealed, leaving the public only on option to just buy things from the governments who released this technology to the public after using them in the battlefield.

[1] What other coke were you thinking about. Get your mind out of the gutter, or in this case, stop being high.
