26 Over-powered!

Suddenly, all four of them became wary. They had disturbed a high level NPC's personal space by using [Inspect] on him. Furthermore, instead of a Faction NPC, he looked more like a hidden NPC that usually comes with Hidden quests.

At this moment, a melodious voice came from behind the mask,

Due to his Charisma stat increasing, his voice, hair texture, and overall looks had slightly improved. This stat was not present solely for looks, but it improved the relations with existing NPCs, and sped up the process of getting to known NPCs. This was the reason why Luke had invested into this adequately.

This statement was like a gun pointing at their heads, ready to fire at any moment.

"Tch. But you guys are still youngsters. Youth mainly consists of mistakes. It's alright as long as you repent."

At this moment, a quest appeared in front of their eyes.

Hearing this, all four of them received a quest completion notification, however the second part of the chain mission did not activate.

This caused them to be slightly confused.

OriginalMagus gathered his courage to speak first. Although this had its risks, it also had the greatest benefit.

"Sir Sage, is there anything you need, or anything I can help you with."

"Anything we can help you with?" Interjected the other two simultaneously after realising what OriginalMagus was trying to do.

"Hmm… Yes. I need a few things. Go and collect them for me. Here is some money."

Saying this, Luke tossed a few bronze to each of the three players in front of him. During the month of recovery, Luke had collected quite the sum of money, almost 3 gold.

Along with this, a mission he had already prepared flew towards the four of them, with different tasks.

OriginalMagus had to find a piece of paper, SwordSlasher had to find a pen, WeedGod had to search for a stamp, and SaintessKatrina had to find an envelope. Each of them had enough money, and the mission told them to find and buy 1 of the item they were given.

The rewards was 100 exp, and any change they received.

They group of four did not have any idea of the currency, but the reward was 100 exp and so they did not have many grudges. They all quickly turned to enter the village and search for the items. Just as they were about to vanish, Luke suddenly spoke.

"Here. Hold onto these. Break them when you complete the mission. I will find you."

He had thrown 4 rock marbles made of simple rocks. However, each of them contained a certain amount of Luke's own energy, which was sealed in by the rock layer. When the marble was broken, the energy would be released, which Luke would be able to discover in a short distance, even if it was absorbed. The village itself wasn't that large, and he could detect his marble breaking from anywhere in the village.

With those words, his figure faded out of existence. I fact, as soon as he threw the marbles, he had run into the village, using Mind spells to confuse the players into ignoring his true body and looking at an mental mirage.

Next he de-activated the spell to make the mirage disappear, making the players feel as though he had moved at a speed their level could not see.

The attention of the four players than landed on the item handed to them.

After discussing for a few seconds, the four finally split into different directions after entering the village to ask around for their missions.

Naturally, Luke had not entered the bar with his mask on. Else the existence of the Sage would be revealed to the public.

He simply went behind a secluded shop and waited patiently.

10 minutes later, he sense his energy being release 20 meters to the north. Quickly, he ran from his current location

At this moment, SaintessKatrina, who had found the envelope had crushed the marble and a notification popped up on her status.
