Aion changed his class because, naturally, his spear broke. That was starting to get really old… still, after equipping the guardian class and assuming a defensive stance, he just wondered how the hell the enemy managed to block his charged attack… it couldn't be that he could charge his Power Shot that much faster.

"It looks like we will need to use all of our mana this time… buy us some time, Aion," Sauros said. "It will be worth the wait."

Aion was planning to buy time, not to let others win for him, but because he wanted to understand the secret of the strength of the enemy. He was starting to realize that he was a terrible team player... it was understandable given that he did a lot of things by himself until now.
