3 The Adventure Begins

'I have been inside of the palace for five years, my adventure now begins.' Conrad is on his way to a different prefecture of the Couth Empire. (He has already been reported missing to the emperor) 'I'm believe that my family should be worrying about me right about now. They should have figured out that I'm not in the capital anymore.'

I am on my way to the Venture prefecture for some fun and while I'm at it I can help with the civil war taking place in this prefecture. The road is winding and long and the protagonist of this novel has been walking on it for a really long while. After a few weeks of walking he has almost made it to his destination.

Before he made it to his destination he was stopped by a group of people. These people are the most powerful bandit group in the region they have pillaged and r***ed in many villages throughout the prefecture. Others would easily be defeated, but this boy is the famous prince of Couth empire, Conrad Fenrir. This boy is one of the most powerful beings.

Conrad saw these bandits surrounding a convoy of people lead by members of the empires legion. "Hand over all of your stuff and we will give your a quick death" Ruth the leader of the bandits always tells the victims of the gang before he acts upon his atrocious deeds.

"Yeah, pretty lady we will not do anything whatsoever, Hehe." A perverted gang member spoken slyly.

"We know that you are never true to your words you bastards, I suggest that you leave or you will suffer the consequences" Legate Elizabeth has always been arrogant. She has always had a great talent the only thing holding her back is her commoner background.

Elizabeth does not like to be ordered around. She has always been pushed to do things she does not want to by the nobles of the prefecture. Hearing these bandits telling her what to do really pissed her off.

Elizabeth started to slaughter the bandits fighting the bandits that have surrounded the convoy. Sadly the bandits still managed to overpower her and the other soldiers protecting the convoy. The soldiers who once numbers in the hundreds has now been reduced to a mere 10. Though the soldiers suffered the bandits numbers dropped to roughly 37 men.

The bandits started to take anything of value from the convoy. The convoy is a weapons and armor convoy so the empire will suffer a huge setback if everything is taken. They not only searched the convoy but searched the soldiers they killed the soldiers after strippineg them of thier armor. Elizabeth is about to suffer a worse fate than the soldiers. The bandit leader tied up than dragged the legate to his horse. He will be using her as a toy release all of his urges on.

It will be a pity to have such a beauty defiled. She has smooth jade like skin. A beautiful elvish face. And a curvaceous body with curves in all the right places. Except her chest. Her chest is not flat, but has small (not really small) mounds.

(POV Change: Conrad)

If only I got there earlier than I could have saved most of them. The anger I feel at myself is immense. I should have gotten to the prefecture fast. But that's when I heard an angelic feminine voice screaming out, crying for helps.

The legate that I came to know latter was being dragged to the horse of their leader. I could guess what he was going to do next.

"No, NO, NOOOOO, No please don't *Sniff* *Sniff*"

I finally lost hold of my temper. Using space magic i summoned my assassins cloak and armor. (picture a red and black assassins creed armor with a silver dragon symbol on the back and shoulder, The symbol is the empire's symbol. He is also wearing something similar to a dragon priest mask from Skyrim).

Using what I learned in captivity I snuck behind the bandit leader and slit his throat. He didn't make any noise and nobody noticed us but the legate. Looking at her I motioned for her to keep silent. Moving behind all the other bandits and doing the same. Killing 36 leaving the last one behind for questioning.

"Where is the hideout"

"You think I would tell you"

The bandit made the mistake of not telling me what I want to know. Being well versed in torture methods I managed to get him to talk. They have their hideout in a ruins to the east of the road.

"You all right" I asked trying my best to free them of their fear.

"Yes, thank you" The remaining three and legate respond to with shaking voices. Noticing they don't feel to secure I offered to travel with them to Gunriver city. On the way over I made sure to take care of the problem without anyone noticing. Finally at the city I left the group found a secluded place to change into my casual wear. I made there was noone watching so my identity as the assassin was not discovered and that my prowess is not known to the legion lead by one of my former masters, General Tobias.
