Mom’s Plan

Atlantis cannot think whether to eat the food that Enrico is trying to push inside her mouth. Why does this man treat her as if they know each other for so long. As if he knows that she wants to be "baby-ied" sometimes. As if she is his. She doesn't care even if Enrico sees that her eyes are wide from shock. And then she stared at Enrico lazily. Her mind drifting and wishing that Enrico is really her man.

Enrico said, "Hey... Eat this. Don't look at me like that. Come on, woman. Eat." He did a little push again on her mouth.

Atlantis obeyed and chewed silently. Afterwards she said, "Thanks. Don't feed me again. I can feed myself. Remember, I'm your assistant not your girlfriend." while looking at Enrico straight in the eyes.

Enrico's happiness was killed in an instant. It's as if a cold water had been thrown at him for what Atlantis said. But she's right. He should not be behaving as if he is a boyfriend to her. And maybe she already have a boyfriend. "Ouch" his heart reacted. The thought of Atlantis having a boyfriend hurts him. Why though. He still is confused.

Atlantis saw the sudden disappointment and hurt in Enrico's eyes. She feels bad but she have to do that. She can't let things go too personal. He is the boss and she is just an assistant. She don't believe in Cinderella like stories.

Time passed as they eat silently. Suddenly, "I'm sorry, Atlantis. I shouldn't have acted like the way I acted. It won't happen again." Enrico said seriously.

Atlantis looked at him straight and replied, "Thank you, Sir."

Enrico flared up again and answered, "I told you to quit calling me Sir. And here you are again. You're so stubborn."

"Ooops! I'm sorry, EN-RI-CO.", Atlantis replied with a sneaky smile.

Enrico couldn't help but smile too even if he is really pissed right this moment. This girl could be mad in a minute and then she will give you the sweetest silly smile right after. "You don't get to smile at me like that. Next time you call me Sir I will kiss that luscious mouth of yours to stop you." He said with a smirk on his face.

Atlantis almost choked from what she just heard from Enrico. She couldn't believe so she asked again, "What did you say?"

But he just smiled at her and continued to smirk at her and his eating.

"Damn this man is so frustrating." Atlantis said to herself.

She continued eating and so does Enrico. But he is quietly observing the woman in front of her. Why does this woman makes him say things he don't usually say. And then he noticed that Atlantis ears are so red that it looks like all blood was stuck there. He couldn't help himself and raise his hand to touch Atlantis' left ear. Atlantis flinch in surprise.

"What the fuck?!" Atlantis said a little too loud that Enrico got his eyes wide.
