Mom’s Plan

At the restaurant...

Enrico, "What would you like to eat, Atlantis?"

"Any from this list, Sir."

"Hhhmmm, okay then. Since you are the one who live here and might know what food is good or not, be the one to order for us."

"Sir?!"

"What? I said be the one to order for us. Go."

In Atlantis mind, "Wtf?! Do I look like I eat here normally? I won't even go near this restaurant because food here is too expensive. Even the water is gold! I bet he knows how expensive is this restaurant. His Mom's friend own this. And then he'll ask me to order. The heck?!" She's so lost in her thought and agitation about the situation that Enrico needs to call her attention.

"Hey, Atlantis... Atlantis" Enrico said while waving his hand at her. "Hello, Atlantis?!"

"Sir?"

"Are you going to order or not?"

"No. What I mean is no I'm not familiar with foods here so I might disappoint you."

"Well, surprise me. Go ahead.", Enrico said. At the back of his mind he is just assessing Atlantis what food she is interested to eat. So he could take note and the next time, he can order for her. And then it hit him that here he is again, looking forward to spending time with Atlantis. He just met the girl for barely 3 hours. What's happening to him?

Atlantis just ordered the specialty of the restaurants. Two order of rib-eye steak cooked medium rare, vegetable salad and cordon bleu. She also ordered a small platter of various type of cured meat, cheese and olives. And then she raised her head to ask Enrico, "Sir, what would you like for your drink?"

Enrico then faced the waiter and ordered, "Give us your best selling wine. Doesn't matter if it's red or white or rosé. Just give us that." He then turn to smile to Atlantis.

She then turn to the waiter and said, "Give us two glasses of water too."

The waiter asked, "Will that be all, Sir and Madam?"

They answered in chorus, "Yes, thank you."

Both of them were surprised and Atlantis smiled a little.

First in Enrico's mind, his heart melted with that cute little smile. It warms his heart.

And the waiting game started. Atlantis feels a little awkward. Enrico is staring at her intently. He killed the awkward silence. He spoke, "So, Atlantis. Let me ask you questions."

"Alright, Sir.", Atlantis replied.

"Quit calling me "Sir" first. Alright?"

Atlantis frowned a little but she nodded in agreement.

"Just nod?", Enrico is testing her.

"Mmmmmmm." she replied.

"Atlantis?! What the heck?", Enrico's tone is between amused and pissed.

"What? I nodded already.That means I agreed to not call you 'Sir'. Have you heard me say it again?" Atlantis quipped.

Enrico is getting more amused now than pissed. This beautiful woman in front of her has a smart mouth too. Oh! That beautiful full mouth that looks so luscious. "Oh damn!" He said in his mind. He is lusting over Atlantis again. He needs to concentrate more. He can't be always lusting over her.
