Love At First Sight

In Atlantis mind, "Fuck! His voice is so sexy. His smile is sexy. He is a walking sexyness all over. And the way he say my name is hot." The electric shock she felt was too strong to ignore. And Enrico is still holding her hand!

Atlantis, "Ahem! May I know what I can do for this meeting?". She is slightly making an attempt to unhold Enrico's hand cos' she felt like she might burn anytime.

Alas! Enrico gradually pulled back his hand from her. But she felt that he squeezed it for the second time! Atlantis do not want to believe that it is actually happening. The squeezing of her hands. This is the time she is really thankful that her hands do not sweat even when in "exciting" situation.

Manager Sy, "Atlantis, I will assign you to be the temporary executive assistant of Enrico. And also, you will help him in starting up his business. The compliance part I mean."

Atlantis is listening carefully. But her brain is suddenly whack with what she is hearing. Is this really happening? She couldn't believe it. Nothing prepares her for this task. She would love this but this is such a surprise for her! How will she be able to work if she can't concentrate because she's too attracted with her new boss.

"Ahem! Atlantis?", manager Sy called her attention.

"Ma'am?"

"What do you say? Could you accept this special task?"

Atlantis did not answer right away. Even if she's too tempted to accept this because of the handsome boss, she do not want to compromise her work-life balance. Although, this is a good opportunity for her to earn extra. She still needs to know what's in store for her if she will be sacrificing some of her free time.

Being the straightforward that she is, she bravely asked, "Ma'am, is it okay to ask what it is there for me if I accept this job? I don't mean it like I'm demanding something but then I will be compromising some of my..."

She noticed Enrico stared at her. Eyes turning a little sad? What did she do?

Manager Sy interrupted what she was saying. "At, you will earn additional 70% of what you are earning now. Are you worried that you will compromise your other tasks if you accept this?"

Atlantis replied, "Yes, Ma'am. I'm afraid this will affect my current tasks." She just agreed although at the back of her mind, it was not the main reason. She's got a lot on her plate right now. Family, work and personal matters. But when she faced Enrico, she notice that he continued to stare at her as if he's convincing her to accept the additional task. She swallowed hard. Those intense gaze is her weakness. God help her!

Atlantis faced Manager Sy again and then to Enrico while nervously saying, "Hhhmmmm... Ma'am, I'll be frank with you and Sir Enrico. I really have a lot on my plate right now, but..."
