The Start of a New Life

"Where am I? and why am I even alive?"

Chen Xin spoke as he shook himself awake from his last act of imploding himself, all he could feel at the time was unbearable pain for a split second and the he had blacked out.

"You are inside your mind child..."

A steady and firm voice replied to him just as he had spoken. Chen Xin was spooked and frantically looked around to see who had spoken to him.

"Who is it? Where are you?"

"Look above you child. And you are no longer in danger"

Chen Xin looked above to see a spear so beautiful he couldn't take his eyes off it. It had a presence which was sharp as if you would be pierced if you were to get close and was almost divine if not or the fact that it felt drained of energy .

"I do not have much time left in the world child. I am the spirit of the Sun-Moon Spear, the personal weapon of the ancient Sun Moon Spear God who was one of the strongest God Kings in the Divine Realm.

Currently the body which you previously possessed has most definitely perished. Your soul was absorbed inside the sun-moon scripture, which I had been sealed inside of to look for a successor, since it is very rare for a person to be able to cultivate the sun-moon spear art to a level which you have in such a short amount of time as it requires a great innate talent for the spear. It is a fortuitous event that a successor was even found.

Your soul has been brought in the land where the sun moon spear lord was born and became a god in as the art was created specially for the cultivation system in this land, and has currently been placed in the body of an infant who was supposed to be born without a soul thus preventing any negative karma from generating.

The Sun-Moon Spear is a God-king Inheritance which will act as your primary spirit soul while you will awaken your original spirit soul at age 6 as is tradition. Still you will not be able to increase your spirit rank till your martial soul awakening to prevent a weak foundation and injuring a young body not yet ready to handle cultivation.

The body of an unborn child cannot sustain a soul as old as you therefore you will be put in hibernation till you are born. The scripture has spent too much energy to bring you to this land and will be recovering for a very long time even after your birth. I recommend you to practice the Sun-Moon spear art diligently in the meantime as it will the foundation for your cultivation in the future."

Just as the voice said this the spear in front of Chen Xin seemed to dim a bit as if it had gone to sleep. Most of its presence had withdrawn inside and it seemed to remain stationary in the air. Any indication of its previous divine presence withdrawn as if it was never there.

Just as Chen Xin was contemplating his rather lucky circumstances he felt himself losing consciousness and realised that this must be what the spear spirit was talking about and lost consciousness completely shortly after.

***********

In the peaceful land of the Douluo continent, there was a Village called the Seven Leaves Village. It was a very normal village having no significance other than being self sufficient and the fact that it was in close proximity to the Nuoding Academy which was an elementary spirit master academy which taught children who wished to become spirit masters.

But here in a house located in the western part of the village, screams of a woman could be heard along with the shuffling of a few other women who were helping the woman give birth to her child.

The woman who was giving birth had been a strong spirit cultivator of the spirit emperor rank and a member of a clan who had been massacred by the spirit hall. She had only survived it because she had been sent away on a mission where she had gotten the news of her clan's demise.

She had been terrified and went into hiding. She had travelled quite a lot before since she liked to see new places and decided to hide in a village closer to an elementary spirit master academy since spirit hall didn't pay attention to the villages in the area.

Her life had been quite normal for a while and she had fallen in love with a man who lived in the village. He wasn't very strong since he wasn't a spirit master but still he loved her and took care of her since she had arrived to the village.

He had been a part of the village's defence force. They had gotten married a year before and she had become pregnant shortly after. He had died yesterday due to his team being ambushed by bandits, while the bandits had all been killed, they had been able to launch a sneak attack which had penetrated his heart and killed him instantly. The news had sent her into labour instantly, the stress and trauma she had accumulated created complications and since she had sealed most of her cultivation after going into hiding she wasn't going to survive.

The child had been born successfully but the woman had died in labour. The woman had named the child before she had given out and thus the newly born child had been named "Chen Xin".

The women who had helped out with the birth had decided to place the child in the orphanage of the village where he would be taken care of since thy couldn't do it themselves.

Chen Xin was then taken to the orphanage where the matron had happily agreed to take care of him since his father and mother had helped the orphanage a lot while they were alive and she wanted to repay their generosity.

The child had been blissfully sleeping since the birth and thus began the life of Chen Xin in the Douluo Continent.
