16 Chapter 16 Pandora's Temple

Cuetlachtil ran into the temple bypassing everything with ease since Kratos already went through the whole temple. Just when Kratos was about the reach the next room that contained Pandora's box he hears STOP when he sees a strange man. Cuetlachtil telling Kratos to stop and informs him that if he opens the box that great darkness will befall the world and realms they live in. Kratos speaks "why should I listen to your lies this is the only way I will KILL ARIES!" Athena was in Olympus and about to intervene when Zeus stops her because he wanted to hear what the demigod wanted to tell Kratos. He only heard Kratos speak but he did not hear the demigod stranger speak he just stood in silence. Zeus kept watching simply because of curiosity and what difference it would make. At the same time, Cuetlachtil spread Summon energy beneath his feet and under the floor to get pandora's box to absorb it so it would never release the darkness but something was happening as he absorbed it. His summoning energy absorbed HOPE and attempted to use it to defeat the darkness but something else was at play here FATE It wouldn't allow him to destroy the darkness but it did permit him to absorb Hermes in Greece realm. Kratos came to understand the stranger via an exchange of information images of prophecy and truth of other gods and lands and other information but Kratos was being stubborn too blinded by his rage and nightmares did he not care, consequences be damned he went into the room where pandora's box was in. Cuetlachtil left part a portion of hope the same strength he found it and kept the rest of it but since it became a part of his loyal summon the hope that went with him became 100 times more potent as a loyal summon.

Athena: "Kratos, your quest is at an end. You are the first mortal to ever reach Pandora's Box. There is still time to save Athens, you must bring the box back to my city and use it to kill Ares. Return to Athens, Kratos, return and save my city! Cuetlachtil orbed out of there and appeared on the back of Quauhtli eagle form. telling his shaman friend he disclosed what happened and where to go to try something else since it didn't work. They tracked him down but within moments they saw him get hit by a giant broken pillar. Quauthtil felt uncomfortable and decided to land near it. Quauhtli spoke, "I feel a dark and peaceful power in that hole I believe it is an underworld different from ours but I cannot enter as a man but perhaps you might?" Cuetlachtil said, "No I shall not enter either for remember I feel a larger power at play here known as fate I believe that we must let it play out to some extent."

Cuetlachtil can feel the Gods focus is on something else so he hummed with summoned energy and Hermes showed up and said he will leave hints for them to follow the moment Kratos shows up in any location in Greece. Hermes gives them ambrosia and nectar before he leaves as fast as he appeared back to mount Olympus and no one knowing the difference. knowing Cuetlachtil can tell what it is being a demigod and all so he absorbs it into his summons as well and now he can make any food he wants that have amazing properties. He then proceeds to summon a camp with two different tents with an divine ward that prevents gods from watching if they wanted to. There was food and rest for Quauhtli and himself. He then summons an obsidian mirror that can see through any realm and he watches Kratos inside of Hades. Cuetlachtil watching Kratos fight with reckless abandon and knowing his secret that he is the son of Zeus he felt sorry for the games these gods play on this man which is one of the reasons why he had to absorb Hermes into a loyal summon because he could discern within his thoughts that these gods were hiding something.

Kratos comes out of hades and is speaking to a gravedigger who is prompting him to go to Athens and then after Athens he finally goes to the Aegean sea. This is when Kratos was walking the edge of the cliffside and you can hear "Zeus! Do you see now what your son can do?! You cast your favor on Athena, but her city lies in ruins before me! And now, even Pandora's Box is mine! Would you have me use it against Olympus itself?!" This is when Cuetlachtil and Quauhtli moved but not as psychic orbs but this time as Lightning. Thunder could be heard from the camps and then suddenly lightning was striking in two different places one on Aries himself this is Cuetlachtil in lightning form and the second place was by Kratos but without harming him this was Quauhtli. Quickly changing into his shaman humanoid form Quauhtli instantly cast magic on the box to prevent anyone from opening it and made a barrier around himself and the box. Aries could be heard making a grunting sound from kicked by lightning. Kratos in shocked wondering, if they were sent by his father, attempted to hurry and open the box but a damn barrier was in the way.

Cuetlachtil went into god golden werewolf form. Summoning god killing divine weapons on his claws. He began to fight Aries, Kratos feeling his vengeance denied uses Kratos charges a lighting bolt of Zeus' Fury and fires it at the chained Pandora's Box breaking the barrier and sending Quauhtli away. Opening Pandora box and set this world on its fated path he releases the evils into the world and absorbs the power of hope thinking he only gained the power to kill a god but did not know he absorbed hope itself. He grows to gigantic size and Aries does the same ignoring Cuetlachtil. Cuetlachtil summons a weapon that can help Kratos kill Aries and a glowing ax appears in Krato's hands and he kills Aries after a long battle who was already weakened from fighting Cuetlachtil. Cuetlachtil banishes the ax from nothing as it dissolves into numerous particles of light as if it never existed. Kratos thanks Cuetlachtil for helping him kill Aries for he understood that Cuetlachtil was trying to help. It was then that Zeus personally came and thank Cuetlachtil after Kratos left. Athena went to speak with Kratos while Zeus asked Cuetlachtil what he desired.

Feeling like he needed to become stronger he asked Zeus if he could have a piece of everyone divine power, and domain because the darkness is out and now it is time more than ever to get stronger to defeat it. Zeus even though he was an asshole didn't want the world to destroy his reign decided to go ahead and order every god in his pantheon to grant Cuetlachtil wish. Quauhtli knew his God would reward than when he returned so he rejected the Olympian gods. At this point Kratos already became the God of war and was not pleased because he would never be rid of his nightmares. He gave Cuetlachtil his power as well It was from here where he told Kratos "I want to help you with your nightmares but there are more powerful things in this world that are preventing me from helping you I promise you If you need me to help you call me and I will come to your aid Kratos." Kratos grinning a bit having respect for Cuetlachtil says "and I will help you if you ask me too just don't betray me for if you do I will kill you." At the same time, they were having a psychic conversation between them two only they did not want other Gods involved Kratos knew that Hermes was Cuetlachtil loyal summon and this is how he would inform Cuetlachtil for help if needed.

It was time for Cuetlachtil moment where he sent his friend Quauhtli back home into the form of wind as they told each other goodbye. Cuetlachtil told Kratos and the other Gods goodbye for he had to return to his homeworld realm. He summoned a portal and he returned to his world he created with Quetazcotal on the surface of that world in a temple a great dragon named Tlamatini woke up and saw her master returned through a portal. Tlamatini turned into an indigenous woman and said "master you returned" Shocking Cuetlachtil who thought she was a he but the dragon laughed and said "nope I am a female dragon I have all of my predecessor memories It looks like he planed for us to get married. being your loyal summon I will be whatever you want me to be." Causing Cuetlachtil to wonder if he should cross a moral line, Quetazcotal energy within resolved that and cause Cuetlachtil to understand that she was truly meant to be his wife that was to be treated as an equal a secret he kept hidden until the last moment.
