1 Summoned in the Spring Paradise
The night sky view expanded above the horizon.
Stars too many to count wandered as they glimmered above with the full moon.
Below the spectacular night sky was a Spring Paradise which is surrounded with different kinds of plants with colorful flowers.
Petals with fresh aroma swam on the water as if it was dancing with the flow.
Small orbs of light are flying around surveying the paradise.
The spring paradise was surrounded by trees tall enough to hide the view from the spring.
In the water, a silhouette of a person can be seen at the very center of the spring.
The steam of the spring was blown slowly by a gentle breeze.
When the view became clear, there was a little girl standing there submerged in the water up to her thighs. Water trickles on her pearl-like white and smooth skin.
She had an elegant silver hair with streaks of blue on its end that extended down to her slender waist.
Her eyes were blue like the color of the water of the sea as it reflected the moon's light. There are 2 small moles under her eyes.
Her eyes had a hint of pure and gentle aura under her gaze but at the same time she also has an aura of someone with high position and authority.
Her long and pointed ears has an elegant ear decoration sitting on the helix.
She wore a one piece thin white dress that reveals her pearl-like white thighs. She had a cute charming figure that no one can turn away after fixing their gaze on her.
She stretched both of her hands onto the water and use it to scoop water. She draw it close to her face and she washed her face using the water from her hands. She looked up at the beautiful moon as it shone on her as if she was a divine existence. Water trickled down her cheeks to her neck and nape and soak up onto her clothes.
She stretched her hand onto the air like she was trying to grab the moon with her slender hand. Then she opened her pink lips.
"…I can hear someone calling for help."
She muttered while wearing a sad expression on her face.
"This is all I can do for you, I'm sorry."
Her stretched hand created a light orb and it flew in the sky like a pollen being dragged by the wind.
When there is a full moon she would do this to give some guide to someone desperately calling for help.
It was not a ritual nor a divine magic, it was just a normal light magic. A concentrated etheria that she let out to create a light orb.
The magic has no effect, it won't help the person asking for help but she still wanted to do it instead of ignoring the calls for help.
After that a gentle breeze blew to her face,
"Fuu~" she let out a relaxed sigh and was about to scoop water again when the light orb slowly fell onto the water instead of continuing to fly into the sky.
After it landed on the floor of the spring, a circle of light suddenly appeared under the water and her feet.
"…!"
She yelped and stepped backwards, startled by the sudden circle of light forming under her feet.
The simple circle of light began to form many geometric patterns and other shapes inside the circle. In other words, something's about to happen.
"W-what is happening?"
She muttered in a very low volume while she make a confused expression.
The light began to grow brighter and brighter as it pieced to the night sky.
After a while it finally subsided and a glint shimmer of light remains under the water but then the ground started to shake as if there was an earthquake.
"Eek!" She stumbled backwards and fell on her bottom to the water with a splash.
As if time has stopped, the water suddenly floats but remained on the air in the form of droplets revealing the ground below.
A large magic circle can be seen and it has a lot of complicated geometric designs and shapes that most likely contributes with its activation.
"WHA―?!" she said in surprised tone.
There are 6 light orbs floating in the air. It is like a transparent crystal and has different colors each.
Black, white, red, blue, green and violet.
Then they started to glow even more, the black orb expanded and engulfed the red and violet while the white engulfed the remaining 2 with its light.
After that, the only orbs remaining are the black and white.
They flew in the sky, as if chasing each other, they flew in every direction.
The black expanded once again and finally engulfed the white orb resulting to thunderous explosions of lightning suddenly appearing from the sky.
The sky was suddenly turned dark and the ripples of red, blue, green and violet with black and white color mixed on them rotated in the sky.
The light being emitted by the magic circle is blinding so the girl covered her face. It lasted for only a moment and the light suddenly vanished as if it was a lie that it was there a moment ago.
The girl squinted her eyes and looked at the direction of the magic circle.
She was left flabbergasted.
At the very center of the magic circle, there is something that is not there just a while ago.
A silhouette of a person lying down was there.
Then the droplets of water floating above suddenly poured down all at once as if the string that was holding it in place suddenly snapped.
The depth of the spring is not that deep but for a person lying down, it would surely drown them.
"…Eh?" The girl let out a dumbfounded voice.
Everything happened all of a sudden so she was not able to progress everything with her brain.
Realizing that the person was not making a move to get out from the water and only bubbles came out from the mouth of the person, she finally came back to her senses.
"Wha! H-hey!"
She yelled as she approached the person. She grabbed the person on its arm and put it on her shoulder.
She walked out of the spring with the person in tow and she placed the person on the dry part of the land to lay down.
There, she had a good look on the person's face.
It was a boy that looked around 14 years of age.
He had a dark, almost black hair and one bunch of hair was shaded red.
Looking at his face, he had a small mole on his chin under his lips.
He was wearing a simple blue cloth which has a design that she had never seen before.
His skin tone is pale and his figure is thin. She can still feel faint amount of etheria from his body which indicates that he is still alive but from his current state he is in the deaths door.
There's no time to waste! At this rate he'll die!
The girl thought as she retreated her face from the boy and closed her eyes.
After a few moments she suddenly opened her eyes looking very determined.
"I won't let it!"
She placed both of her hands on the chest of the boy and she recited a chant.
"Oh merciful spirit of light. Shower the seeds with your light, become a tree of guidance and bare the fruit to restoration! Emerald Healing!"
Emerald color of light shone from her hand and enveloped the body of the boy. The light illuminated the surrounding.
"Please work…" she said as if praying for the moon to help her.
A few minutes passed and her hand started to shake because of the stress brought by producing etheria continuously.
Reaching her limit the light from her hands flickered and then vanished.
"Haaa, haa…" she was gasping for air.
Feeling the strain caused by producing etheria continuously she placed both of her hands to the ground and supported herself.
While still gasping for air she turned to the boy to see if there is any change.
"…Nothing huh…" She said with pained expression and crestfallen.
"...fu…"
Suddenly she heard a very weak breath. She raised her head and turned to the boy.
"T-thank goodness!"
She shouted while her expression brightens. Seeing that the boy in front of him can still be saved she put the boy's hand on her shoulder and she stood up.
"I won't be able to completely heal him here! I need the restoration and healing potions!"
She decided to bring him to her place instead.
As she left the spring paradise, there is an occurrence that she missed.
A single light orb was floating above the water positioned at the center of the magic circle below and it was flickering in strange intervals.
