"Martha, Espina, Leutte, prepare a room and the best potions we have!"

She slammed the door open and upon entering the place, the girl with silver hair and blue eyes called out the 3 names from inside while dripping wet.

She was supporting a boy on her shoulder.

3 girls that looked like below 13 years of age, wearing maid uniforms with combination of light grey and pure white that has a length almost touching the ground came into view when she opened the door.

"Aloumine-sama, welcome ba― what happened to you Aloumine-sama?!"

The girl with light blue hair and braids on both side was about to greet the silver haired girl that she called Aloumine but when she saw the current state of Aloumine she got flustered. Aloumine was dripping wet and her outfit is still the thin piece of white cloth that shows her body lines.

"Forget about me Martha, just prepare all the things I had asked. Leutte, can you take care of him for me? I will go and change my clothes."

"Right away!" Said Martha as she left in haste.

"I-I understand Aloumine-sama."

The girl with navy blue hair, wearing eye glasses with charming features stepped forward and took the boy from Aloumine.

She looked reluctant at first but when she saw Aloumine's serious expression she did not hesitate to take him away.

"Place him immediately to a room and apply healing magic and anything you think might work."

After she instructed the 2 she left with haste to her room.

The girl with shoulder-length light blue hair followed suit.

The girl helped Aloumine prepare and change clothes.

"Thank you Pina. Now let's go." She literally ran outside the room with her clothes still dishevelled.

"Yes, Aloumine-sama."

Aloumine moved in haste with wide strides on the hall while looking forward.

When they arrived at the room that was prepared by Martha they saw the 2 maids applying healing magic on the boy that was lying down on the bed.

About 2 vials was placed on a nearby table, the potions.

Seeing that all of the vials were already empty she turned to the 2 maids and asked them.

"…H-how was he, Martha?" Looking a bit nervous she asked Martha with worried tone.

"I let him take the restoration and soul link potion but…"

Martha said and then she looked down and fell silent.

When Aloumine saw Martha's expression, she put her hands over her mouth with widened eyes.

"N-no way...." She fell on her knees.

"Aloumine-sama!" the 3 maid called her simultaneously.

Seeing that the people around her looked worried, she pushed herself up and stood up.

Crestfallen, Aloumine walked at the side of the bed and sat to a place where she could see the boy's face.

She just stared at him for a while.

"…what is going on?"

She could only ask herself about the sudden happenings unfolding in front of her.

Nothing about this made sense to her. It all happened so sudden and now there is a lifeless person in front of her.

Who would even be able to keep up with this? From her normal daily life to this. No one gave her a warning. No one saw it coming. I was so fast that no one can even react to it appropriately.

While Aloumine is pondering about those things, a light orb floating in the air suddenly entered the room.

"W-what is that?!"

Leutte said with a shriek as she pointed on the light orb.

With her blank eyes, Aloumine turned to where Leutte is pointing. She could only see a light but her mind can't define it. She know it but right now, her brain won't work.

The one who was able to recognize the thing floating in the air was Martha.

She blinked twice, as if she can't believe her eyes. Then when everything got registered to her brain she widened it in surprise.

"M-Madam!" she said as she lowered her head.

Everyone automatically understood the meaning of those actions.

But before everyone could react, the light orb flew above the boy's chest and it exploded into thousand pieces showering the boy with very tiny pieces of light.

The light vanished as soon as it made contact with the boy, while everyone stood there dumbfounded and don't know how to take and react on the current situation.

All of them fell silent. The only thing they could hear was the sizzling sound of the fire from the lamp. There was only silence and anticipation afterwards.

The first person who broke the silence was Leutte.

All this while she was holding the hand of the boy with her face flushed red, examining any change from his body through her magic.

Her pointed ears twitched and she turned her head to the boy's face immediately.

"….!"

She furrowed and concentrate, not to miss even the slightest change from the boy.

"…Aloumine-sama, h-his cheeks twitched a little just now." She said in timid voice.

"Really?!"

Aloumine suddenly raised her voice as she leaned to the boy to see if it's true.

While she was waiting for any movements Espina suddenly shouted as well.

"Ahh! His finger move just now!" She said while pointing on his hand.

"Is that true?!"

Aloumine turned her head to the hand.

"Aloumine-sama, it is very little but he is breathing!"

Said Martha while smiling.

Seeing that everyone except her, noticing the changes about the boy, she leaned on his chest and with her pointed ear she tried to listen if there is any heartbeat.

Everyone became silent. While Aloumine is concentrating she held her breath as she listened if there is a heartbeat. But the 3 maids became silent because of a very different reason.

The actions of Aloumine could be said as bold even with the current situation.

After a while her serious face gradually became gleeful.

With her cheeks flushed red for some reason, she let out a shout.

"Yes! I-I could feel his heartbeat! His heart is beating! Yes!"

She became excited like a child.

The 3 maids exchanged glances and nodded to each other.

They just let out a warm gaze and smile while they bore witness of the childish side of the one they respect the most.

A few hours have passed and the boy's condition finally became stable.

He is still sleeping on the bed while the 4 is still in the room.

"Shouldn't you take your rest already, Aloumine-sama?"

Seeing that it is already past midnight she asked Aloumine who is now gazing outside the opened window. She shook her head.

"I'm fine. More importantly, that light orb… it's from mother, right?"

"Yes. That is definitely her magic. She must've used a very powerful one for it to work almost immediately. And to think that she would personally do something about a human is very surprising."

"I wonder what my mother is thinking. What do you think is she up to?"

"Sorry but I have no answer for that. It's already been 12 years since we last felt her presence after all."

"…"

Aloumine fell silent and looked up at the night sky.

Feeling curious, Espina walked over to the bed and took a peak of the boy's face. His eyes are closed and his body is a bit malnourished but his looks is not bad at all.

"Aloumine-sama, who is this person?" She asked out of curiosity.

"…"

"Aloumine-sama?"

"E-eh? What is it Pina?"

Aloumine was day dreaming so she didn't hear the question and she got startled when Espina called out to her the second time.

But instead of Espina, Martha was the one who asked the question.

"Aloumine-sama, this person, where did you find him? And why is he…"

She looked at the boy who was not breathing just a while ago and it made it even harder to continue the question.

"I was cleansing myself in the spring and then when I used my magic it accidentally activated the ancient formation circle and…"

"Eh?! D-does that mean he is…"

Espina chimed in but she couldn't finish her sentence because it was unbelievable.

"…Yes. I, I might have, accidentally summoned him."

"B-but from what I heard that formation circle won't activate that easily, right Leutte?"

Espina turned to Leutte to ask her.

"That is correct. From what I've learned before, that formation circle will only activate if certain conditions are met…" she paused for a moment and continued.

"I'm not an expert about formation circles but if my memory serves me right, that magic circle cannot summon a normal human being which means it can only summon…"

"…a being from the Heavenly Race or a celestial beast."

Before Leutte can finish her explanation, Aloumine said that which Leutte nodded to in confirmation.

"Eh? But no matter how I look at him, he looks completely like a normal human being, right?" said Espina while tilting her head to the side.

They all just fell silent. They can only wait for the boy to wake up and ask him.

For now, all they could to is to wait.
