1 Summoned Hero

It's just an ordinary day for me as I look into the mirror I brush my brown hair as its medium size. I get my uniform on as I go to school. I'm not special I'm just a nobody in my school nothing cool or special about me. It feels like an eternity before the lunch bell rings. I sit alone outside like usual just munching my food. I'm Andrew I'm a guy who doesn't interact with anyone I'm never noticed or anything. I get home and do my homework and yawn. I'm unexpectedly tired today so I quickly change into pajamas and take a long rest.

What? Where I am? I wake up to what looks like a castle.

"Ah hero!" A girl in a maid outfit yells.

"Huh? Hero?" I look around in confusion thinking I'm dreaming.

I pinch myself and it hurt! This isnt a dream?! Where am I what do I do?!

"Your the hero silly you were summoned to protect Kydina!" The girl in the maid outfit says.

I take some time to look around and look at her. She's surprisingly cute she has big blue eyes and medium blonde hair. She definitely looks like a professional maid.

"Who are you?" I ask.

"Ah! My name is Elaine and yours sir?" She asks excited.

"Uh I'm A-Andrew" I say nervously.

I think about what she meant by me being a summoned hero but I should play along as this is no dream.

"I was summoned? So what do I have to do?" I ask.

"Well you were summoned because theres a threat we dont know about yet. You should talk to the king and see what he thinks."

"The king?" I ask in confusion.

"Ah yes! Let me show you to him!" She grabs my hand and drags me to a throne area where I see a man with grey hair looking at me suspiciously.

"Is this the summoned hero?" He asks in a calm voice.

"Yes my lord he's the summoned hero!" Elaine answers quickly.

"I see I'm King Danaju." He says in a stern voice.

"I want you and Katrina to go on the journey to find this culprit." The king says quickly.

"M-Me? Are you sure si-" She gets cut off by the king.

"Oh I'm sure you medical abilities shall be good assistance to them both." He says in a polite voice

I look at him and quickly realize he said a name I'm unfamiliar with.

"Sorry sir but who is Katrina?" I ask politely.

The king laughs and looks at me with a big smile.

"Ah well shes our finest and strongest soldier we have dear boy! Ah yes what's you name young man?" The king asks excited.

"A-Andrew." I answer fast.

"Guards get Katrina and suitable gear for this hero!" The king orders.

Soon enough I'm equipped with a sword, a shield and armor. I can't lie the armor was definitely heavy. I realise that I feel much stronger then my original body it feels like I've gotten more muscle. All of a sudden a cute girl with long red hair and yellow eyes comes in a looks at me intrested.

"So this is the Hero? What's his power?" Katerina asks sternly.

"E-Ehh? Power? What power?" I ask in complete confusion.

"Ah yes! I forgot you'll soon develop a power like every summoned hero does! This shall be useful for your journey.

A power huh? I think to myself I wonder what type of power it is I wish time would just stop so I can process this information! All of a sudden everything stops. Nobody is moving an inch. I stare for a few second and think. Is this my power to control time?

"S-Start?" I say trying to get time to move again.

All of a sudden people start moving and everything is normal again.

"Sir! My power is to control time!" I say loud.

"Hm? You already discovered it? Well that power shall definitely be used against the devils.

"Devils?" I ask confused.

"The devils are the people we are at war at they are our biggest enemy right now." They kind says in an intimidating voice.

"You three will leave tomorrow get ready for your journey.

"Yes sir!" We all yell
