1 A Run-in

I was walking down the hallway to lunch when I ran into Aaron Salvatore. We both fell over. "Oh I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was looking!" I said, blushing, hoping that no one saw and claim that I did it on purpose which I didn't.

"It's alright. Ava right?" Aaron asked, standing up before holding out his hand to help me up. I took it and he pulled me up effortlessly.

I nodded and said, "Yeah. I'm Ava... Ava Infernal." I looked away, knowing that everyone in the school knows the rumors about me, some of which are true and some of which are entirely false.

Aaron smiled, like he actually smiled, and said, "I don't believe everything I hear. Besides, how many of those rumors are true?"

I counted all the rumors in my head and subtracted the ones that were false. "Twenty-five of them are true. Five of them are false." I nearly whispered.

Aaron frowned. "That's not- But-" He stuttered, utterly shocked. I blushed even more, looking away. I sighed and was about to walk away when he grabbed my arm and said, "Wait-" I looked over my shoulder and noticed that he was blushing as well.

"What?" I asked, hoping that he didn't notice that I too was blushing. I watched as he looked me up and down, I was wearing the school uniform, the only things visible of what I was wearing underneath was only my socks and my tie, which I think goes very well with the uniform.

Aaron then said, "There's one more rumor about you. The one about you being a succubus. I don't think you remembered that one when I asked which of the rumors were true."

I was just about to answer when I heard a girl's voice coming from the end of the hallway, just before she was going to pass by me and Aaron, I kissed him. "Ha! I always knew she was slut, whore and a ho!" The girl said after having seen me kissing Aaron before she continued walking with her friends.

As soon as the girls were gone I pulled back, muttered, "Sorry!" and ran.
