Suddenly, she heard a cry in front of her. Anita quickly turned around to listen. After confirming that it came from the old couple in front of her, she hurriedly ran forward.

When she arrived, she saw that one of the two people who had just helped each other up had fallen to the ground while clutching her chest. Seeing that it was the woman, Anita immediately squatted down to check on the situation.

Because of her poor family background and her parents' health problems, Anita had experience with NGO volunteering since she was young, and she was still doing it now. She was very passionate about helping out.

After checking on the woman's condition, Anita concluded that it was cardiac arrest. So she told the old man beside the woman, "Her collapse might be due to cardiac arrest from hiking, so she needs CPR."

The old man looked at Anita in panic, but he did not know how to answer her.

Anita saw the nervous look on the old man's face. CPR could not be delayed, so she only paused for a moment before quickly continuing, "I'm a volunteer from the NGO Organization and received a first aid certificate. If you trust me, I'll perform CPR for her."

The old man hurriedly nodded and did not even bother replying.

Anita hurriedly knelt down and performed CPR on the woman by relying on many years of experience. After she repeatedly performed artificial respiration, the woman gradually woke up and began to breathe normally.

The man beside her saw that his wife had woken up and he finally came back to his senses. He hurriedly thanked Anita, "Miss, thank you so much. You're our savior."

Anita looked at the old man as he thanked her solemnly, and she was a little embarrassed. She was a member of an emergency services organization, and this was something she should have done, so she waved her hand dismissively.

When he saw this, the old man's impression of Anita improved a lot. After knowing Anita's attitude, the old man didn't say anything else.

Anita waited another ten minutes or so with the old gentleman. When the woman recovered enough and could slowly get up, Anita was ready to say goodbye.

"Miss, please wait. We know you mean well, but can you give us a chance to thank you? At least let us treat you to a meal!" the old man said sincerely as he helped his wife stand up.

Anita could not bear to reject them. But today was her last day in Thailand, so she had no choice but to reject them tactfully. "Sir, I'm here for a vacation. I'll go back to New York tonight. I can't accept your invitation. I'm really sorry."

The old man could see the lady's sincerity from her expression. He sighed and said, "Miss, can you leave us your phone number? We'll treat you to a meal next time."

It wasn't polite for Anita to continue refusing, so she left her phone number for the old couple.

At this moment, the woman, who had just recovered, also saw Anita, who had her head lowered while saving her number.

This was the young lady who had saved her life. After feeling shocked for a moment, she grabbed the man's hand. The old man shook the woman's hand, indicating that he had realized it too.

"Isn't she Mia? She looks too similar." The old woman thought of her sad past and murmured softly.

On this side, Anita only heard the word similar. What was similar?

Anita didn't pay much attention to it. After leaving her phone number, she continued, "You'd better wait here for a while. I've already contacted the doctor in the park. You can go to the hospital for a checkup." With that, Anita waved goodbye to the old couple and left.

The old couple looked at each other after Anita left.

After Anita left Mount Suthep, she went back to the hotel to pack her things and she prepared to catch the evening flight back home.

Blissful moments were always short. Anita's trip to Thailand had come to an end, and she had spent most of the money she had gotten that night. It was time to go back, Anita thought as she packed her things in the hotel.

"My mentor has called me multiple times. If I don't go back soon, I'm afraid he'll go crazy," Anita said to herself.

When she had just left the country a few days ago, her mentor must have known that she had been dumped, so he called her.

Her mentor didn't dare to agitate Anita. He just said, "Go out and play for a few days, then hurry back. I have a lot of things for you to settle. Don't think about slacking off!" He said sternly.

Anita knew how helpful and caring her mentor was to her, so she wasn't offended by her mentor's tone. She just replied softly, "Yes, I understand."

While thinking of her mentor, Anita felt that she was quite lucky.

Her current mentor had given her a lot of help. It was also her mentor who had discovered that Anita was full of potential and should continue her studies.

Therefore, he took the initiative to communicate with Anita in hopes that she would continue her studies.
